Britney Spears – Astrology Profile

How can anyone try to understand someone who can’t understand herself? Astrologers can at least try to scratch the surface and glimpse into what it is that may trigger Britney Spear’s extremist behaviour and radical actions. Why, for instance, is she unable to stay on one course very long?

With the Sun, Mercury and Uranus all close in Sagittarius, for Britney there is just no curbing her restless, hyper-active side. She needs to be constantly on the move in a life that is punctuated by bizarre change and upheaval.

It will have been her Sagittarius impulsiveness that led to her wedding in 2004 that lasted 55 hours, ending with an annulment and her Sagittarius desire for spiritual growth that led to her involvement in a Kabbalah Centre. With Jupiter in Scorpio, she will be fascinated with the mysteries of life. Sagittarius forever searches and rarely stays put; she publicly left the religion in 2006. Britney’s divorce from her second marriage was finalised in July 2007.

Making plans for the future and committing to anything can be a nightmare for someone with such a strong desire for freedom and independence as Britney. What’s more, there is a lot going on in a very small area of her chart with many planets clustered together, for instance the Sun, Mercury, Uranus and Neptune all in her third house of communication.

This can all be fantastic, exciting and exhilarating for her during those years when transits make positive links to her birth planets, one after another. But not so much fun during those phases when transits are stressful triggering her erratic, excitable and changeable side.

So life is fast, furious, fun and invigorating on the one hand but like an out of control whirlwind at other times for this multi-faceted singer. Because, remember, when Britney undergoes tense aspects, it’s not just one planet that will be affected, but all those that are close to it and all often very quickly.

Britney’s life is exciting and she has a lot of positive qualities. Mercury in Sagittarius highlights Britney’s open-minded nature. She loves a challenge and has energy, talent and sex appeal that fascinate young girls, teenagers and an older audience. Here’s someone with the X factor, that special quality that fascinates people. So where’s the problem? Her dilemma is: she just can’t seem to stay on the one course long enough to make anything stick. When either her own behaviour or circumstances just seem to grab her and fling Britney in the opposite direction to the one she wants to go in. She is versatile, she is clever and she will find a way through her current problems because as restless and rebellious as she may be, Britney can also be determined.

For a wee while longer there will be confusion and trying to find the source of all her problems will be like trying to find a needle in a haystack. What Britney needs to do now is put the past behind her and look on the future as a blank page. She can never escape her past but she does not have to let it haunt her forever. Over the months ahead Britney will be determined to take responsibility for herself and her actions. If she can grasp and hold onto the restraint and self-control shown by Mars in Virgo, it could well be that the worst of this current negative phase is over, and the months ahead will bring the respite she needs to recharge her emotional, physical and spiritual energies.

Miuccia Prada

Prada is one of the most successful Italian fashion outlets in the world. It is a highly influential label, significant for its innovative style, luxurious designs, and star studded reputation. The Prada story began in Milan in 1913. Back then, the Fratelli Prada were popular for their sleek luxury leather goods and luggage and the company acquired great fashion Kudos, catering even then to a more exclusive, and high class type of clientele. It was when the grounded and strong willed Taurus, Miuccia Prada, joined the family company in the seventies that Prada would become a glittering name in the fashionista firmanent. Miuccia was initially an unlikely candidate for success in her family’s company. Yet eventually she would surprise everyone, as her Taurean perception of life would have made her stubborn and grounded enough to enter the business, stand up to the difficulties, and make a huge success of it. She can basically do anything she sets her mind to; she has method, flair, and is as smart as a button.
With her moon in the sign of Libra, she integrates her deep love of beauty and form into her stylish products. She has always had a sort of elegant panache to her persona, even if she is no glamour puss. Instead she has a basic vibe, and could be mistaken for a Milanese housewife if you met her in the street. In the seventies, she used to be a mime artist, member of the communist party and a feminist, with a degree in political science. She was a product of the times and like many of her generation, flower power, contesting the government’s modus operandi etc. were all part and parcel of her reality. Her friends would have found it hard to imagine she would ever hit the high note in modish design, since she had never pursued any formal fashion training. In fact many could be forgiven for thinking she would follow intellectual pursuits rather than creative ones. But her family would give her free reign, and her gifts would flourish.
When she took over Prada, she and her husband Patrizio created inspiring designs that would eventually lead to a fashion “feeding frenzy”. With her Venus in Taurus, she has a very straight forward way of expressing herself verbally, her mind is astute, she can dig deep into seemingly irresolvable problems with extreme thoroughness, and these gifts have always helped her when it came to the business side of Prada. As far as her personal relationships are concerned, she appears warm, but there is a certain distance to her, which gifts her with an unusual kudos when it comes to social events. Never deviating from her basic premise that the Prada label should continue to be a standard bearer for original, luxury items Miuccia concentrated on her innovative design, with an uncanny knack of mixing unusual combinations of leather and fabric, to bring about a revolutionary perception to a more original and avant garde product.
She said, “In the end, fabric is fabric. What is really new is the way you treat it and put the pieces together.” With that energised Mars in Taurus she has a manual grasp on the creation of a product, its form, its expression, all guided with realistic flair. She produces the dreamiest products, stringing various aspects together and fusing them into one, amalgamated, and gorgeous product. With her Jupiter shining gracefully in Aquarius, she is a pioneer, with ground breaking vision. Time Magazine described Prada as “unassertive, combining traditional good manners and an ultramodern industrial sleekness.” She has a fantastic sense of form colour and symmetry, inherited from her family’s gene pool, together with that “Star quality” Jupiter in Aquarius, she could not fail to create extraordinary products. Her original handbags were immediately pounced on by a fine array of assorted movers and shakers, actors and show biz folk, for example Jerry Hall, who just went ballistic about her designs.
She has managed to create such a distinctive style, for example a transparent raincoat that becomes opaque when it rains, that many are mesmerized by such novel elegance. She has been living in the same apartment for years, and is a private person, totally immersed in her “cult like” craft, so cultish that a film was named after her products, i.e. the very entertaining “The Devil Wears Prada” starring Meryl Streep and Anna Hathaway. Her Saturn in Leo will strike that “privacy” contrast against her super communicative attitude to PR people, models, clients and designers, especially when she is in the hub of a show, or catwalk shenanigans. This rather dual aspect to her personality could block her capacity to relate soulfully, to open herself out to people she does not know in her private life. She guards her fine intelligence and elegant perceptions of reality with reserve, believing not everyone can understand them!
An Aries influence in a sensitive area of her astro sky can push people away, making her appear rather aloof, even superior. She could be prone to moments of soulful loneliness, that she would be hard pressed to admit, even to herself. The next couple of years will be of change, some things will have to let go of in order to pass on to a totally new cycle for the company. It might sometimes seem that proven ways of doing business are far too hard to let go of, but many aspects of her way of communicating will no longer be relevant, and will just have to change. But this is but a passing phase. A kind Venus will pull Miuccia back from the brink of what seems like a no-go phase, with profit losses, and transformations within the very fabric of the business. In fact she will move into a totally diverse way of reaching her public. She will always amaze with her consistently creative flair and fashion chutzpah though. So we can expect to see a new phase fashion manifest for Prada, and it will be all about harmony, but perhaps with a more user friendly take for the everyday man and woman. We cannot wait to see such original renovation, and look forward to future fashion shows and press releases. We raise our glass to your next fashion exploit Miuccia!

Kristin Davis

kristin-davisKristin Davis, the Emmy, Golden Globe nominated actress whose Charlotte York Goldenblatt of Sex and the City jumped out of the small screen at us could be classified as a conflicted soul. Her Piscean persona will be sweet and introverted. Her moon in Saggy would want her to consistently rush around at the “speed of sound”. Unable to sit still for long, she will be inclined to burn the candle at both ends. This fidgety inclination would not have lead her to a drink problem in her youth though, it was the inner angst that did that. As Kristin said herself “Alcohol freed me. I was really shy and I didn’t know how to come out of my shell. I drank for the same reason I loved acting. I wanted to feel things and express myself and be free. And I’m not naturally that way.” She managed to get a grip on this tendency to excess, not helped by her Saggy moon, which would want her consistently extreme.
She is aware addictive behaviour never really goes away, but nothing will stop her from leaving that particular past behind her. She is the kind of gal who can keep a public, any public, mesmerized. Colleagues, boy and girl friends all enjoy her way of chatting “birds off trees”, her finger on every gossip pulse. Those huge eyes, encircled by a baby doll face will have them wanting more of her entertaining presence. In Sex and the City, she was adorable and pouting, sweet and oversensitive, totally unlike her own more gutsy persona chatting risqué jokes down the cheese shop. This is a vibrant lady, with a Mars in Virgo energy reverberating through her core. Such a Virgo placement will help a girl burn the midnight oil to rehearse a part, push the boat out to achieve her dreams.
Kristin always wanted to be an actress, from when she was a ten year old kid in fact, and after moving from Buffalo Colorado to New York City she was more than willing to wait at tables on the way up the ladder of success. In fact, with that kind of co-operative behavior, Lady Luck in Jupiter made sure she was cast in Melrose Place, Friends and Seinfeld, consistently getting more viewing air till she was cast as the delectable Charlotte York Goldenblatt. As seductive as Charlotte in Sex and the City was, Kristin beat her to the winning post in real life. Kristin has dated various gorgeous hunks such as David Duchovny, Jeff Goldblum and Steve Martin. “If I had one wish for myself, it would be to fall in love. That’s asking for trouble, but that’s the truth.” She said. In fact we would say she is truly a romantic damsel but with that Venus in Aquarius it might be hard to pin her emotional fantasies down. Her obvious penchant for actors might be due to a need to feel as free as a bird. An actor would probably never buy her a pressure cooker; she is not inclined to domesticity. She would stamp her foot if her Mister wanted her to crochet in front of the TV too, especially since she prefers fanciful liaisons that satisfy her need for originality and party dates.
She will always prefer to go out in a foursome, or meet down town the coffee shop, or pizzeria. She likes social connections and convivial atmospheres being such a gregarious and jovial sort of gal herself. Recently she has been seen in the odd restaurant with Nick Leone, a filmmaker. But the news on her love life is strictly top secret. Mercury in Pisces would make her spontaneous, insightful, “feeling” rather than “thinking” “perceptive” more than “shrewd”. When it comes to her craft she is an “artistic” actress, instinctive in her interpretation of a role and the events around it. In fact, spontaneity gifts her with a capacity to get “under the skin” of a part. However her Saturn in Pisces will tend to build protective walls around her, keeping her far from the lover she truly yearns for, the part she deeply aspires to. She will always feel the fear and “do it anyway” as the inner insecurities that Mr. Saturn bring will encourage her to create more emotional balance.
Wise Pluto in idealistic Virgo will come to her rescue anyway. She will lift herself up from saturnine doubts and fears to participate in the world. Kristin is a global ambassador for OXFAM, travelling to Mozambique, South Africa, and Uganda to help out. She said “After the tsunami, I had that helpless feeling you get when something bad happens and you don’t know what to do. I went to a Website that analysed how much of each dollar donated actually goes to charities-and Oxfam was at the tippy-top of the list….” Her Pluto will always make her responsive to others, wanting to participate in a drive to help humanity’s woes. In this context she can totally disassociate from her more fun loving, party persona, and move forwards in her charity work with compassion and sensitivity.
There is news for Kristin over the next couple of years, she will find a succession of inspiring roles cropping up, and she will slowly disassociate from her Charlotte persona, and bring a new version of herself to stage and screen. It is time for an emotional and physical revamp, so you could see her with a new hairstyle, a different look, a long term boyfriend parading in the spotlight with her. Her spiritual lesson is to learn to communicate selflessly, to leave space for others to express themselves, to listen, to be aware of others’ feelings, and respect them. To slow down that rushed vibe, so that she can take time to quietly wait for even more success to come her way. We cannot wait to see how wonderfully this lovely lady will entertain us in future, her never say die, “ever active” attitude is so much fun to behold. Good luck Charlotte.

Kim Cattrall

kim-cattrallSamantha Jones, whose hilarious sexual high jinks, stylish dress sense, and “blue” comments had us screeching with laughter in Sex and the City, would not be the kind of dame one would meet down the fish and chip shop. Like Samantha, our lovely Leo lady, Kim Cattrall, is a woman of class, who would prefer to lunch at Claridges. Like Samantha, Kim dresses with panache. Like Samantha Kim is rather larger than life, and when one walks into a room with her, it is inclined to buzz. Unlike Samantha however, Kim’s Aquarian Moon perceptions have a tendency to throw down a gauntlet, yet she could shock even herself when she picks it up. There would be some conflict within this damsel, a need for integration as a star and international beauty, alla Leo, clashes with a convoluted sensitivity that the Winged Messenger bestows on his chosen few. But when Mr Mercury also visits her Virgo expect Kim to analyse a role to dust, scrutinise the small print, and express profound insights. Remember she was involved with Bernard-Henri Lévy a charismatic, French intellectual famed for his contentious views on politics. He would have “got it” that Kim would be able to hack a “revolutionary” take on life, even if she didn’t!
In fact when she was married to Mark Levinson, the two of them wrote the 2002 book: Satisfaction: The Art of the Female Orgasm, Kim obviously wanting to express keen observations on female sexuality. No doubt she was seriously involved in her role as vampish Samantha in Sex and the City at the time; being a clingy fire sign she will tend to merge into her characterisations. So she would have yearned to understand the “nympho, vampish” elements of her own personality on that show. In fact, her Mrs. Moon in Aquarius just has to express the complexity of a human being in an up front, raw way. This attitude has spurred on her brilliant technique, helping her morph into such a popular performer. She started her existence on planet earth in the green and gentle county of Wiltshire but her family emigrated to Canada. She would later return to the UK when granny took sick.
Once in London, she studied at the Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. But it was only after she had trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York that Otto Preminger and Universal Studios signed her name on a dotted line that would lead to worldwide success. Her exacting dramatic training has made her a superb stage actress she has starred in high brow productions such as Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge, and Chekhov’s Three Sisters. Her consistent capacity to delve deep into a role will always galvanise an audience. But when it comes to love, well Kim is a sweetly sensitive woman. Venus in Cancer will require a strong man besides her, someone who can match her success and intelligence, who can appreciate her beauty and savoir faire, someone who is not afraid of fame, and can sustain her during inner crises and emotional stress. Her only problem is that super sensitivity makes it hard for her not to merge into her loved ones, and she can come a cropper because of her psychic take of what is going on in someone’s head.
This can lead to misunderstandings as often her interpretations of another are conditioned by her own emotional experience. Kim has been married three times, and has been involved with such heavy weights as Pierre Trudeau, and Daniel Benzali. But we will let you into a secret; Kim’s Mars in Pisces would make her totally unlike Samantha Jones. In fact so far removed, Samantha could be living on the planet Zog. You see Mars in Pisces would make this gorgeous woman highly sensitive, the mere sound of a fork scratching across a plate having her reach for the mineral water. She “feels” her way around life, and this tendency will help her in her craft, but be somewhat a hindrance to her intimate life, revoking memories of childhood insecurities, and teenage angst. This placement will also push her into the recesses of human consciousness, where she can pull down from the ethers her characterisations, and understand every facet of a personality through her craft.
She is a born actress, beautiful, exacting, visionary, complex, and capable of profound insights and moments of introspection. Her attentive observances of humanity makes her inner landscape panoramic and rich with experience, yet her persona is on edge, her tendency to want to change her way of being, consistent. She could have a gypsy gene in her blood, because even if she is not moving across the earth plain materially she will want to move mentally, seeing answers to life’s problems by traveling through them, probably enjoying spiritual perceptions that calm her down, and sustain her cere. For the next couple of years Kim’s sun will be lighting up her inner world, she will be dealing with a total revamp, detox, and life evaluation resulting in radical changes. At first these might be hard to manifest, because she will have to take responsibility for inner conflicts, but in the end, no matter how impatient she is with herself, she will achieve not only in her career but her emotional world. She is capable of making even more spectacular contributions to stage and screen, and we cannot wait to see her in a new series in 2010. You are magic Kim, and you will always entertain us. God bless you!

Katie Price

katie-price-peter-andreKatrina Amy Alexandria Alexis Infield, alias Katie Price, alias Jordan, alias Katie Andre is as varied and colorful as her names. This babe is a Gemini, with a Ms Jekyll and Hyde tendency. When it comes to her ex Peter Andre she might tend to do her Mrs. Hyde impersonation though. We are not saying she would throw a saucepan at him when the mood takes her, but nearly! Peter once said, “I’ve written this song called Insania – it’s a mix of Insane and Mania, and even though it’s a made up word you instantly know what it means!?” Yes, we can guess what it means Peter; our question could be is yours the “insane” to Jordan’s “mania” or vice versa? These two larger than life personalities attract so much, they eventually repel each other. Jordan is multi talented, multifarious, a go getting star prone to self aggrandizement and resourcefulness. So is Peter.Jordan’s desire for notoriety would encourage her to sit in a tank with only jelly fish for company, as per her Bushtucker trial in “I am a celebrity get me out of here!” So would Peter! Peter is a sensual, original Piscean, a good looking bloke with tons of charisma. A guy fascinated by exciting projects and fast track people. A dude who has always had a bevy of beauties fluttering around him due to his open hearted vibe, Mediterranean good looks and seductive approach to love. Jordan is a beauty who began her career as a page three girl, a stunner who would not have been too pleased about sharing her sexy partner with anyone. She always wanted him to keep an eye on their master plan, to concentrate on their agreement to build a mini empire of super sensual, super glam, super domesticated documentaries about their fabulous family lifestyle that would titillate the general public’s imagination.

After all, Jordan is an astute business woman, strong willed, earthy, emanating that renowned sex appeal in lorry loads. Peter literally loved her “hands on” approach to celebrity-hood it made her a legend in her own time, and he wanted part of it. She had a tendency to stick her heels in when it came to getting her way too, Peter once found that so darned attractive. When it came to his career Lady Luck had been on Peter’s side also, he had a mission to channel creative sensitivity into his music, and not give in to moments of self doubt when it came to his talent. A skew whiff Capricorn influence made him ultra sensitive though, aware of other people’s emotions, sometimes unable to define where he began and others ended. In fact, he would never understand why Jordan found his high voltage angst so difficult to take, why her mouth seemed to droop when he just raised his voice a tad. After all, he was a guy who needed space to do his “creative thing” and channel good pop music into the world. At the very beginning of his career in Australia he had been was picked out on a talent show and his single “Gimme a Little Sign” hit the charts. Even back then he had realised it was best to “strike while the iron was hot” and he “struck” when he met Jordan on “I’m a celebrity get me out of here”, unafraid to risk an “attitude” he was the kind of geezer that did not mind flirting publicly; and he was Jordan’s perfect match as a result. It was not so difficult at first. Nobody could have denied they enjoyed the same high flying lifestyle.

Katie’s success had initiated with glamour, and Peter liked that. But that glamour was high maintenance, i.e. breast jobs, nail jobs, hair extension jobs, eyelash extension jobs, a constant obsession with the “look”. Peter understood the time spend on her image was important to her success. She wanted to woo her audience in documentaries such as “Jordan, Living with a dream”, “Model Mum, Jordan”, and “You Don’t Even Know Me”. Their family soap “Katie and Peter” had been seen in the United States and was aired on “E”, the fans had been galvanized by it. There was no doubt Venus, the Planet of Lurve, was on Jordan’s side, and it literally glittered fame and fortune all over her, looking after her luck department more than efficiently. Stardom came easily; in fact if Jordan had only realised she was a natural with every fibre of her being, she would not have been concerned about spending all that time holding the public’s attention, and life might have been more relaxing. Katie never understood why Peter did not realise their life was a celebration. She had never really liked facing the heavy duty aspects of human existence, she knew about suffering, and wanted it to remain on the edge of their lives as long as possible.

Why, therefore, did not Peter recognise her Scorpio moon capacity to protect them all, to encircle their family with such solidity? Why did he only note her rather direct way of pointing out a fault, and get angry when her bluntness offended people, who said she was rude. She was the one who looked after their finances. She was an old fashioned gal deep down, a good family organiser, making sure they all enjoyed a “high on the hog” lifestyle without going over the edge? But why did Peter not acknowledge her, understand her, after all they both enjoyed gossiping about other Celebes. They both laughed at the same jokes. Peter asked himself why his beautiful wife did not see how much he focused only on her, she was his glamour queen, that little Katie Price, alias Jordan, the girl he fallen in love with at first sight. She was his soul mate, his beauty in motion, she would intrigue him forever. They got married in 2005 and he became stepfather to Harvey, her son by a previous relationship. He became a doting dad to their two kids Savva, and Princess Tiaamii.

His Mercury in Pisces made him an empathic parental figure, aware of his children’s challenges and supporting them all the way. He always “sensed” what was going on with his family before they did. So what part of their relationship had fallen by the wayside? What had happened? “My Way” was what happened! They both sung that same song. We would not infer that Jordan is bossy, or overly larger than life, we would say her shenanigans draw attention, and she acts them out “Her Way”. We would not say Peter felt he needed attention all for himself; after all they had both sung “A Whole New World” from Walt Disney’s Aladdin together. They had lived an “out of the ordinary” lifestyle, and it had been of great joy to them both, but Peter needed a new challenge, one of his own, one where he was not appearing with Jordan, in other words he needed to do it “His Way!”.
He will always want to work hard, tune into brilliant musical ideas, never cut corners to move on in his musical career. The beautiful Gemini and mesmerizing Piscean were made for each other, and it is our hope that one day they will realise that doing it “Their Way” could overcome the challenges, rather than separate them. We hope they move on together again. But for a while we accept we will not see them in a new family docudrama, the ones that were so unique and such fun. We regret this, but have to say, it has was an amazing ride while it lasted! God bless you both! You made us laugh, you made us giggle, and we hope you will enjoy walking down exciting new roads, even if they are different. God bless ya!

America Ferrera

April 27, 2009 by admin

america-ferraraAmerica Ferrera is a fiery, passionate and bubbly Aries, with miraculous curves, glossy dark hair, startling big brown eyes, and that open hearted smile. She is a delight to goggle at on the red carpet, being somewhat of an original when you compare her to the skinnier babes lining up at the Oscars and Golden Globes. Obviously her “smash hit” role in Ugly Betty is “chalk to her cheese”, that role being totally the opposite of her in terms of sex appeal, vibrancy and sheer chutzpah. The fact is America always “walks her talk”, happy to strive to reach her aims in life.

The youngest of six children, her parents were Honduran emigrants; it could not have been easy growing up in a Jewish area of Los Angeles nevertheless. To make things even more challenging, her mother divorced her dad and raised her and her siblings alone, always stressing the importance of a good education to overcome the hardships of life. America once said “Am I Latin? Am I American? What the hell am I? I love my culture and I’m very proud of my culture.”   And her culture made her an extrovert, a fiery go getter. Because the fact is America always knew she wanted, and it was to be a show biz person.

As young as seven years of age she landed a small part in Hamlet. She felt herself vibrate in tune with the excitement of performing as a child, and could not step back from the plate, but embarked on a kind of mission to fulfill her dreams. Her mama was not happy about her choice of career; mama thought acting would be a hard profession, and America would not fulfill her talent.  But America pushed through the obstacles nonetheless, and soon found a role on the Disney channel.  She landed Ugly Betty in 2006, and has not looked back. She has won an Emmy, a Golden Globe, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and more as a result of that casting.

She describes getting made up as Ugly Betty as a “Bettification” because she literally transforms physically. It is clear her talent carries her through her identification with Betty, the girl everyone finds unattractive.  We ladies know about the “l look a wreck” syndrome, and America faces it every day on set. Time magazine chose her as one of the ten top performers in the world to make up for hour after excruciating hour in makeup. So how did she do it? What is it about America that makes her so mind-blowingly determined, so optimistic so focused?  Well she has a great immune system, seriously, it takes adaptable, strong energy to keep pushing for what you want in life, and America finds that side of things easy peasy; she has that well ensconced survival gene remember?.

Mercury in Taurus makes her earthy, a plodder, and ready to take small steps at a time to reach desired outcomes.  In fact, those cute feet of hers are currently planted firmly on the ground.  She will pay attention to the arts, and any recent creative endeavors she wants to be part of, even an artistic avant garde project will interest her to some degree.  She is liked by all, after all she has that lovely bubbly vibe, but don’t mess with her, she will snap your head off!  Venus in Aries will make her want to fall in love with an orchestra playing in the background, she will appreciate bunches of red roses and chocolates. She wants her love life to vibrate with tangos, anticipation and excitement. Grande Passion is what our America aims for.

She will shower her beloved one with kisses, and not hang about playing games either, she will be direct and demonstrative, and make sure they know she cares.   Being alone is not her thing. A Mister Gorgeous would have to be around to make her feel a whole lot of woman! She has a warm nature, she needs cuddles!  She might find it difficult however, to push through the romance bit, and on to the Mr. and Fererra bit.

Venus in Scorpio will tune in with that aforementioned “fight against all odds” gene that is so useful in show biz circles, where the faint hearted end up carrying the golf balls. She “needs” to be in public view, she wants the adulation, and she is not afraid to say so. She has that rather “over sensitive” actressy part to her character on occasions, which could mean a little bit of a temper tantrum on set on the odd occasion. But she pulls herself together and picks up the tab like a true blue professional, so nobody will have it in for her for long. She is young after all.  Jupiter in Capricorn will always pull it together for her, providing her with a work ethic and determination to stay the course with integrity. No mucking about for America Ferrera.

Financially she will do well for herself and her family and friends will share her good fortune. If she can help anyone out she will only be too pleased to do so, she wants to contribute to others’ lives, and she has an idealistic perception of family and friends. With her node in Gemini she has to be careful not to put her foot in her mouth on occasions. To hold back from saying things faster than she thinks them.   She has to be prepared to learn the art of diplomacy and ponder wisely on what other people mean, before jumping to conclusions or fast retorts. She is an astonishing young actress, but although she has hit the big time, she still has a lot to learn, and she would be the first to tell you that.  Whatever she says, you can be sure she says it is with warmth and sincerity and you will always totally believe her. Especially when those big brown “eyes” fill with tears.

We wonder whether America made a few risky investments, because it looks like over the next year she will be moving her money around, trying to find the right outlet for more profit. 2009 will be less of a year for “lurve” and more of a year for sorting things out from baseline when it comes to her economics and investments.  Someone will help her through changes, and she will find the cooperation helps her to win through odds.  Some emotional changes are on the cards for her too, it is likely that a steady relationship will be put on hold till the end of the year.

Her career will continue to be remarkable with a well appointed Mars dishing out the energy to push her through fiery hoops.  She has a lot to look forwards to and so do we. She will continue to entertain, make us laugh and fascinate us. She is an original, a true star in her own “very young” right.  What will happen after “Ugly Betty”, “Beautiful America Fererra” we are certain, and she will hit the big time with unusual roles, and that mind-blowing talent! Go for it America!

Dawn Airey

dawn-aireyDawn Airey is a woman of substance. She has not been nicknamed “Scary Airey” and “Zulu Dawn” for nothing. Nominated as one of the hundred most influential gays and lesbians in the UK by the Independent Newspaper, she generally sports a friendly demeanour, but keeps her cards close to her chest, and wields her power with flair. Presently Channel Five’s Chief Executive, many never guess what she is thinking, but she can make a point brilliantly and possesses a precise gift for the gab that can be nothing less than inspiring. Maybe because her Scorpio sun sign not only enhances her auric field, making it literally tremor with charisma, but gifts her with a resourceful, charismatic, rather down played energy that hits the “high spot” every time. When she meets you she will size you up, taking in every aspect of your “look” translating the reality of who you are in less than five seconds. This capacity gifts her with the talent of picking the right man for the job, someone who will fit and get things done. She will also see straight off if you are not going to cooperate, and might give you a rousing pep talk if she is putting you on hold.

Add on her Winged Messenger Mercury’s foray into Scorpio and she is thorough, with a unique capacity to “problem bust”, able to see solutions when everyone else is banging their heads against a brick wall. We would not call her stubborn but certainly determined. She began her career as a management trainee, her obvious talent shone like the proverbial sun, and before you could say “Chief Executive” she had risen up the ranks to become Controller of Children’s and Daytime Programmes for ITV. Obviously her talents are exceptional, with that moon in Libra they demonstrate a knack for powerful stances and organisational chutzpah. Venus in Saggy will make her the woman with her finger on the pulse, and an array of useful contacts and gifted, stellar friends. Her aim would be to travel if not in body, in mind and vision. She has broad sweep perceptions of reality. When it comes to her personal life she expects those she adores to be their own person, able to pay the bills, bang a nail in the wall etc. She would not like you to throw a fit on her at any time, whether it be jealousy or just because you banged your toe on the coffee table.

Mars in Cancer would help her out, she loves her home, and she would have taken out the best insurance policy possible on it. She also likes people in it to appreciate it, and pay attention to the smallest detail, happy when people note the new dining table, especially when her family is seated around it on Christmas Day. Occasion is something she appreciates. She has more than risen up the ladder to success; she is a trapeze artist par excellence becoming Controller of Arts and Entertainment at Channel Four, and subsequently  morphing into her present post, as Head of Channel Five, with many exciting new ideas up her sleeve by the minute. Her origins are Liverpool; she went to a local comprehensive and a boy’s private school. She attended Girton College Cambridge and read of all things “Geography” Yet there was always something stimulating, exciting and inspiring about her stance on life. She had a secret plan right from the start, and she was not letting on. She just worked consistently for it, Jupiter in Capricorn giving her a solid take on the realities of life, even at an early age. In fact one could say that her maturity was far beyond her years way back when, and enabled her to deal with any challenge with the wisdom of one much older.

She has not one drop of fear in her, which is a gift bestowed on her by the Gods, and enables her to take reasonable risks, see thru obstacles, and overcome the kind of red tape that would have many of us running for the Bahamas. She rests, when she has done the job. She holidays because she wants to have fun, not because she is stressed out by the job. Stress is not a word she is prone to use. But it is her north node in Virgo that could sum her up. Deep down she feels she is on a mission. She wants to bring news to humanity, educate them, give them facts and figures to ponder over and assess. Details they can work with, and analyse. To do this she knows she has to be well informed, able, and her stirring mission is to be just that.

In 2009 money issues will be coming up for Dawn Airey. There is something powerful in the air, a prospect of enlarging her scope of expertise in some way. She will remain focused and find a new element to operate within, perhaps a reorganisation within Channel Five, or a great show that will pick up quota. There could be real transformation on the cards, ways forward that will stimulate and even challenge those around her. She will burn the midnight oil as she works even harder, but she will feel inspired and elated in the process. She is on the path to the “castle on top of the hill”, and nobody will stand in her way to get there. Good on you Dawn! We are right behind you!

Sharon Osbourne

sharon-and-ozzy-osbourneShow biz personality Sharon Osbourne has her own philosophy on life and she is sticking to it. She is also Ozzy’s guiding light. She met him in his Black Sabbath days, when her dad Don Arden managed him; with, it was said, rather dictatorial ways. When Ozzy was sacked from Black Sabbath, Sharon decided she would take him under her wing, and became his agent. They married in Hawaii on 4th July 1972. Sharon is born under the sign of Libra so one could imagine “harmony” would be her second name, and to some extent it is, until that Gemini Moon kicks in and all hell is let loose. Initially Sharon and Ozzy beat each other black and blue, teeth were knocked out a bottle of scotch was launched at Ozzy’s head, and Ozzy was arrested for attempted murder in Moscow when he tried to strangle Sharon in a drug fueled stupor. But the attraction was too strong to walk away from and Sharon promoted her Ozzy until he became one of the most popular heavy metal bands on this planet.

In the nineties Sharon pulled the Ozzfest festival out of the ethers, and it was to become one the most popular rock festivals that would continue to hit the high spot for ten years. Sharon was brought up in a violent atmosphere. Her father Don Arden was almost surreally cruel to her. He was aggrieved at her for managing Ozzy, and set dogs on her when she visited him. She lost the baby she was carrying at the time. Sharon refused to see her dad for years, yet she still paid for his care in the last years of his life. Sharon’s soul is always aflame with indescribable sentiment, yet a strong and resistant core pulls her through the worst of life, and it has to be said she has virtually seen it all. It would only be logical that she and Ozzie set each other off like fireworks, but with Sharon’s Venus in Scorpio when it is right between them, they not only hit the light fantastic, they literally touch the stars. In fact Sharon’s Venus placement would make her one of the few people on this planet that could live a blissfully happy married life with Ozzy, known for his rather eccentric domestic habits!

She is unconquerable, the kind of lass that could stand up to an earthquake, a forest fire, a tidal wave and an illness like cancer and come out virtually unscathed! In fact, Sharon has become a cult figure after fighting a bout with cancer; she battled with it in front of MTV cameras in her usual documentary style. In fact, during her onslaught on the disease she picked up award for her show The Osbournes, and attended the Creative Arts Emmys in Los Angeles, receiving the best TV reality show award. In the meantime, back home Ozzy fell to pieces with anxiety over her disease, and their son Jack attempted suicide as a result of chronic depression. She kept going, and survived triumphant and tougher than usual ready to hit the big time, her son and husband resiliently by her side! Her managerial genius goes unquestioned, and is part and parcel of the success of the Osbournes, a live broadcast of their screwball family life.

It was the show that relaunched Ozzy as a cult figure, and with their acting out kids and twelve rather messy dogs in the limelight, it proved to be magic. It was obviously another arrow to Sharon’s bow, and has earned her an estimated £11.5 million. She has since been appearing on X Factor, America’s Got Talent, Rock of Love Charm School and The Osbournes Reloaded. Unlike most people, this woman does not possess a fear bone in her body; timidity is not her second name. She is almost extraterrestrial in her sturdiness and feet on the ground attitude. After having extensive plastic surgery, she once quipped “Anyone who says their face lift doesn’t hurt is a liar, I feel like I have spent the night with an axe murderer!”  Like Ozzy she is an oddity, someone who does not fit into the proverbial box, yet manages to fascinate us all with her fiery, quirky take on life, marriage and existence. She is a stalwart soul, who exudes matriarchal chapazz.

Her kids and Ozzy adore her for she is a mum with the most, a mum on the warpath, a true soldier when it comes to dealing with the challenges of family life. Her vibrant Mars in Sagittarius will force her to tell it how it is, and will have encouraged her outbursts on X Factor when she railed against Chris Tarrant. Her reactions are always excessive when Ozzy or her kids are criticised. She has been known to send boxes of excrement to those who verbally denigrate her family. Her energy is explosive, in the good and in the bad, sometimes disproportionate. She cannot strap that part of her down, give it a cup of chamomile tea and say “have a nap”. There is nothing moderate about Sharon. Yet Ozzy should turn to Mr. Jupiter every day, and say “Thank God you are here Mr. Jupiter, and thank the Lord you are in Taurus”, because that aspect helps Sharon create a luxurious lifestyle and millions in the bank with her more than astute business sense. In fact her grounded know-how consistently maintains the Osbournes in the style they are accustomed to. She is a genius with the purse strings, and has an in-bred capacity to recognise a good deal when she sees it.

If it were for Ozzy, whose creative genius wanders around in the nether regions, they would now be down the Job Centre. In the old days when she was fighting for Ozzy, making sure he got the good gigs, she was a Boadicea lookalike, leading the troop’s forwards into battle. But that Mercury in Libra still belies a soft and gentle side, that her husband and kids know so very well, a part of her that wants to keep the peace, make things right, understand,  forgive and forget, she is in fact a “Menisci”, Yiddish for great person,  whose fiery character has enabled her to act “Super Woman” and stand up to all the odds flung in her face, including her violent childhood and sometimes difficult marriage to Ozzy  Her Karmic lesson is that of the peace maker, the woman who holds the key to creating harmony, if she so chooses. Her North node will encourage her to forgive, and let bygones be bygones! These next couple of years will see her even more in the public eye expressing emotions out there for all to see, probably due to her new show. She will realise that all her efforts to build a rock solid future for her kids and a space for Ozzy’s talents will not have fallen on arid ground. She will continue on, fighting any odds, and standing by her guns. We cheer you on Sharon.

Roseanne Barr

“Women complain about premenstrual syndrome, but I think of it as the only time of the month that I can be myself” quipped Roseanne Barr, that once in a life time show biz phenomena, and certainly no straight laced, refined type of chick. We have an image of her guardian angel standing over her before she incarnated on planet earth, his wings all in a twist yelling “Okay Roseanne, cut out the over reacting, you are born for stardom. So don’t muck it up this time!” Scorpio Roseanne Barr is a drama queen per excellence, you see, her Venus in Sagittarius makes her mesmerizing too, a ball of fun, full of quick quips, the life and soul of any party. Her angel should not have worried, after all she is an awesome survivor, and Jupiter protects her from the more shadowy elements of her personality, even though they have popped up when she least expected them to over the last years, never doing her in entirely, we hasten to say.

Mercury lands gracefully in Sagittarius, so that aspect would have gifted her with a “make em laugh” demeanor, saying it how it is in an ironic and forthright manner. Of course her strong emotional reactions succeeded in putting the proverbial spanner in her works, that Scorpionic emotional underworld, where deeper feelings were hidden under a derisive take, subliminally affected her life. In fact, her existence reads like a Verdi Opera. She dropped out of school and after having a car accident, suffered from constant nightmares and a weak memory. She has declared she was sexually abused as a child, but this has been vehemently denied by both her sister and parents with all the ensuing court battles. She gave birth to her first daughter, Brandi who she gave her up for adoption. She then married Bill Pentland with whom she had three children Jennifer, Jessica and James, who worked with her on her talk show and that is just for starters! She got her showbiz show on the proverbial road when she was just a restaurant waitress, her hilarious comments to customers getting her a spot as a standup comedian. She made her debut on The Tonight Show, and was virtually an overnight success; in fact before she could say “I want to a movie star!” she was given her own show “Roseanne” on ABC television.

Jupiter in Taurus would encourage a realistic take on her career, and the financial offshoot of it. She wanted to be a success, after all her background had been immigrant Ukraine, Russian, Lithuanian and Hungarian, that kind of genetic soup could not have made life easy for her ancestors, she knew she could do better. Her comedic character was well thought out, being the archetypal lower, middle class American housewife, overweight and an acerbic nag.  The phrase “domestic goddess” came into being during that Emmy Award winning show. She later said of the show, “I was in a sound studio for almost a decade. At the end of it, like Rip Van Winckle I came back and found that everything had changed. Suddenly there were computers and e-mails, and it took me another 10 years to catch up with regular people. But the TV show is over. What am I going to do? I can’t boss people around anymore – sad but true.” During the show’s run, she met and fell in love with her Twin Flame, Tom Arnold and her life took a down turn. When they first met, Roseanne’s Venus in Sagittarius made her so attractive, such fun, the type of Venus that would have wanted a positive relationship, after all this is a lady who believes in true love, and soul mates. Instead the relationship was too intense and challenging, and it was hard for her to keep up with the twisting emotions in her heart.

The relationship collapsed, she accused him of domestic abuse, and her accusations were followed by one of the most traumatic divorces ever seen in Show biz history. Her Guardian Angel would have been pretty desperate by then. He would have wanted to warn her that this was a clear mix match of OTT personalities right from the start, but Roseanne would never have listened, she feels she “knows” what is best for her ultimately. Her eventual talk show was a spin off from Roseanne, but ended due to a dramatic emergency appendectomy, and a revamped lifestyle. She has since had plastic surgery, and has lost weight. The truth is Roseanne is someone on a mission, whether she is entirely aware of it or not is questionable. Her Jupiter encourages her to follow her star, to use her inner wisdom to go deeper than just the “deal” of life. Jupiter also advises her it is actually okay not to keep to the straight and narrow, but rather push the boat out as far as her talents are concerned.

She has such a quick mind; it is hard for the majority of the human race to keep up with her, including partners and family who are sometimes aghast at her more outrageous quips. But she still is on a mission, and her guardian angel would want to remind her, if only she gave him the time of day. Now Roseanne is very much more sedate with her own new radio show, but make no mistake she will be back with her cutting quips, as she  has a few interesting projects in the pipeline, in fact there are important new beginnings even in the area of relationships. So guardian angel, brush up your wings, and get spruced up, things are looking better for our Roseanne.

Maggie Philbin

maggie-philbinTo say Maggie Philbin, radio and TV presenter, is a nice person would be an understatement! She is also a well turned out Cancer, looking good in leather pants and chic suits alike. And just look at that big, generous smile. She has a natural warmth and empathic glow to her persona. A strong, earnest lass, with her sun sign is Cancer, she does not exactly have a closet penchant for adventure, but she will give something risky a go! Two of her claims to fame were riding a Top Fuel Dragster, and flying upside down in a Hawker Hunter on Tomorrow’s World. Her producer would have said “Go on Maggie, get in the Hawker Hunter!” and she would have been too darned curious to say no. A jolly Mercury in Cancer will always encourage her to take the proverbial “bull by the horns” and get on with it!  She has a quick mind, can assimilate ideas at the speed of sound.

She will sit with you for hours debating Green issues, or the way the world is going, she loves to express her ideas at a rattling pace, may be because Mr. Mercury is one of her best astro pals. He inspires her, makes her quick on the uptake. Mr.M also insists in popping into her Venus, hence her love life will not be of the “bodice ripping” typology. She wants a guy who has a grip on the facts of life, someone who can put up a kitchen shelf and partake of a stream of fun repartee simultaneously. Yet there is some contradiction to her emotional world; Maggie’s sun sign can make deeper sentiments surprisingly difficult to deal with, she expects a lot from her partners and friends. She wants them to be full on genuine, and when they are not she feels crushed. Not everyone is as sincere as Maggie, yet she is far too independent and generous to resent the past; she had absolutely no qualms about appearing with her ex husband Keith Chegwin on Swap Shop for its 30th anniversary shindig.

She does love her mementos though; you know that coloured sand from the Isle of White, an old theatre ticket, her daughter’s first pink booties.  She is divorced from Keith, and her lovely daughter Rose is her “raison d’être”. With her sun blazing high in Cancer, Maggie is a fabulous mum. Okay she might snap at Rose suddenly, all moody Cancer style, but her Mars also in “homey” Cancer will make sure their environment is Feng Shui balanced and loving. Maggie knows “little things mean a lot”, and will take care of the details, i.e. where a vase is placed, exactly the right spot for a favourite picture, making sure she and her daughter sip coffee in a kitchen with sun streaming through its windows, etc. Now we will let you into a secret, the true reason for Maggie’s success is Jupiter in Leo: Like Julie Andrews she could burst into a song like “Climb Every Mountain”, at the drop of a hat. Maggie is a humanitarian. There will be many good works she will want to participate in; she is already a patron of the National Osteoporosis Society for one. You see that charismatic Jupiter shines all over her and those rays are warm and enlightening, making her popular and beloved.  She knows that life is a rich tapestry, and she will want to integrate as many experiences as possible into her time on this planet. She is not a shirker, nor is a “passer of the buck” she is a woman who stands tall, ready to take full on responsibility for her actions. The fact is she will always transform the bad to good, never afraid to dig deep until she has got over any challenge.

She learnt many moons ago, that worrying never got her anywhere special. So will have stood up to a tendency to be self critical, always picking up a good idea, and following it through to pull herself back up from the dumps. Sometimes Saturn, her becausemic teacher, might have thrown her into a crisis such as a relationship break up, but she will have transformed the bad to good with her honest take. Being attached to her material possessions, she will have also found a good hole in the ground to bury her money, and will have made sure it is in a vault, or treasure chest to utilize on future rainy days. But relationships will be still be a little challenging, perhaps because she has morphed into such a free spirit over the years, and would find it hard to let go of any aspect of her independent lifestyle. Pluto will push her forwards in 2009. She will reach a wider audience. She will feel that this is the time to gather all her gifts together, and stand in the spotlight even more. We sense you are making the right decisions Maggie and we cannot wait to see more of your open hearted style on our small screens. We know you will achieve much more that you could ever imagine in this lifetime, and we wish you the best of luck.

Martine McCutcheon

martine-mccutcheonSo just “Who does she think she is?” Come on give it a go?  Here is a clue, the aforementioned is the title of this lovely lady’s biography. Yes, it is the delightful Martine McCutcheon who some might describe as the archetypical “Cockney Sparrow” the cute Londoner with the golden heart. But, this particular sparrow is not of your usual plumage, this little bird has multicoloured wings and sings like a nightingale. She also has that chirpy “I am all right Jack” attitude to life too, and we admire her for it. She is a hard worker. She likes to keep her career moving fast.  She is also into expansion and personal freedom.

Her climb up the mountain to fame was not exactly steep, but certainly challenging at times. She studied at the famed Italia Conti Stage School, and first appeared in a cool drinks commercial at 12 years of age. She followed that on with bit parts, including a role in the popular television show The Bill. But she really hit the high note when she became the star attraction of East Enders for a mammoth run. She was a beloved favourite, that gal Tiffany. Who could overlook the open hearted bird that always got it wrong when it came to”lurve”? And who could ever overlook the plump and gorgeous sandwich lady delivering tea and cucumber sandwiches to Prime Minister Hugh Grant, in the hit film “Love Actually?”  Now I know you are wondering, what sun sign she could possibly be?

Well, “feet planted firmly on the ground Taurus” of course!  Martine is earthy and warm hearted with an intense Scorpio influence that could unleash feelings that break the sound barrier from time to time. In fact, Martine could throw a plate or two in the right direction, as she can get irate at obstacles in her path. We would not classify this as a tantrum, rather as a display of energy overload. Some might say that makes her more fun, and you could be right.  She never holds a grudge and the guys will be drawn to Martine like pins to a magnet.

Her Venus in Taurus makes her “physical”, certainly no “touchy feely” type, just plain sensual.  She might have been hurt by love, and could be prickly, especially when she first knows you. She will test a person out, and needs to build up trust before she will give her heart. She can be drawn to the rather “devil may care” handsome types, and will fall hook line and sinker if they are charming too. She has that sensual vibe, coupled with delightful curves, dark eyes and the type of glossy hair us gals dream of.

The truth is she will not miss out on love as a result, and she will also never be short of a suitor!  She adores fun, and “party time” is “Martine time”. Jupiter in Taurus will make her a sleek dresser with a love of colour, fabrics and interior décor. Her home will be as stylish as her look.  But with that Mercury in Gemini she could get highly strung, even depressed when she finds she does not have the energy to do all she wants to. She had rather a challenging time working in the West End revival of My Fair Lady, and had to drop out due to ill health. But the short time she was on stage won her the Lawrence Olivier Theatre Award for her performance. This girl is gifted. Most of Martine’s relationships are about telling it how it is. She thrives on communication.

The sharp and witty side of Mr Mercury in Gemini will make her a “quick silver” messenger, who will deliver a punch line with great panache.  Her quote “I’ve spent the last four days snogging Hugh and he is a really good kisser” when she commented on the rigors of shooting Love Actually had many people giggling in the aisles. Look at her forehead, round and broad, so be aware there is not  one narrow minded thought in her head, she is ready for new ideas on a global level, yet when it comes to her talents, or life styles, she will listen to you talk about changes, but might take a while to get moving on them.

She is no stick in the mud, our Martine, but she can lose her way during those “Gemini mind game” moments, even though she will always work through the negatives, and make sure she wins over her doubts.  With Venus on her side Martine will be younger looking than usual this year.  She will also utilise that magical, “can do” vibe to her advantage, and this will stand her in good stead probably well into next year too. Her love life will work out with those romantic stars winking at her, so she needs to be prepared for some emotional shifting over 18 months or so.

Career opportunities will come up for Martine, and we should see her star in a new film, or release a hit single. She is such a fun and delightful girl; we will continue to be her fans for many years to come.  Let’s cheer her on, as luck is on her side for sure!

Dame Judi Dench

judi-denchIf anyone had said to little  Judi, appearing as a snail in a Junior School play she would grow up to be a star of stage and screen she not have been surprised. An innocent child has no prejudice. But when she did find herself a cheerful student at the Central School of Speech and Drama it took her a while to remember the spontaneous child playing at dressing up in her family’s droughty Victorian home. When she did remember, she never looked back. Has to be said Sagittarius Judi is a contradiction in terms. Reserved but a chatter box, emotionally detached but able to deliver a performance that rocks stage and screen she can only be seen as the Grande Dame of show biz these days.  Judi can touch the marrow of a part, the soul of her audience with that dignity about her that air of someone very much in control of her craft. Judi first succeeded in her debut performance at the Old Vic when she played Ophelia in Hamlet.

Now she is the recipient of five BAFTA awards, and an Oscar; one can but gasp at the huge professional strides taken. May be her success is due to a noteworthy Capricorn influence; she works hard, she stays with it. But Mars in exacting Virgo could also be the cause of her extreme perfectionism, that passion for her role. This planetary aspect will make her perceive characters’ emotions like a researcher examines cells under a microscope. She will ask why some individual she is playing did, or didn’t, lock the front door as they left the house till she gets an answer, and she will drive her colleagues to the crème de menthe in the process.

She is a master at making a role work, so you inevitably raise your hat to her meticulousness. Her roles these days tend to be of Maverick older woman, who do things “Their Way”, very much like her popular M in the James Bond film series.  Yet that Venus in Sagittarius asks Judi Dench to be a laugh a minute. She tells a joke with such a straight face you will be unable to stop yourself from falling off your chair, overcome by mirth She will also delight on playing pranks on co-stars, some of them side splittingly hilarious, if taken with a sporty attitude..  Her life style suits her, all that travelling around, meeting people.  Friends will pop up everywhere, the corner deli, her local newsagent, Hollywood, Bollywood, Windsor Castle, at the supermarket.

She is no snob, people adore her, and want to giggle with her as a result.  Judi would be interested in spiritual matters; they hold a fascination for her with Jupiter in Scorpio, which would explain her Quaker faith. Other worldly matters lift her morale. She needs to understand how this old universe works.  Her marriage to actor Michael Williams was a significant almost spiritual bond too, her phrase “we were just happy being in the same room together” a sign of that soul love they shared.  But Michael was a depressive at times, their union begun due to a personal tragedy in Judi’s life. He was once heard saying “for Judi it is bloody Christmas every day!” But they loved each other, and he would send her a bunch of red roses every week for thirty years. The phrase “opposites attract” comes to mind here.

Interestingly, her Saturn in Aquarius has made sure she takes a broad minded approach to the concept of eternal life. Remaining unattached to the opinions of sceptics, she is more prone to synthesizing the possibility of never-ending spiritual existence in her own way, with care to content and detail.  Nothing shoddy for our Judi. It all has to have a certain symbolic resonance. But the secret to Dame Judi Dench’s astounding skills could be Uranus in Aries. This would make her channel her characters from Universal Mind; have intuitive “connections” to them within, sense their asking her to give them a chance at expressing themselves with the detail only she is capable of.  She is a master craftswoman. Able to touch hearts with the strength of her astounding performances.

In 2009 Judi will need to make a choice between two options, burn the midnight oil or get her health in shape. Perhaps take a well earned rest and recuperation rather than continue with all that hard graft could be considered. She could hold back all that energy, she might consider cutting back on her acting assignments, but it will be hard for her.   Be assured, she will re-emerge, as remarkable as ever, and remain one of the greatest British actors of the 20th century.

Cynthia Nixon

cynthia-nixonIf you are really looking for that star of Sex and the City, you would probably find the gorgeous, red headed Cynthia Nixon trekking up a mountain track, the wind on her face; she would have left her Grammy at home of course, it is far too heavy to carry up a hill for goodness sakes! This TV super star is on a search for the truth, her truth, your truth, cosmic truth, any truth!  Integrity is part of that process. She always wanted to link into grand horizons, even when a kid, but we suspect she never expected them to be quite so breathtaking. Take a peep at her Curriculum Vitae.

Daughter of a journalist and an actor, little Cynthia breathed in show biz at an early age, and could not get enough of it. She began acting at 12 years old and was a success. Jupiter in Gemini encouraged her to memorize her lines fast; and penetrate the length and breadth of a role with spontaneous excellence for one so young. From Shakespeare to Tom Stoppard, she attracted her public, appearing in two hit Broadway shows directed by Mike Nichols.  But it was her interpretation of the emotionally blocked Lawyer Miranda Hobbes in Sex and the City that kept a worldwide public glued to the small screen. She became an emblematic “poster child” for woman professionals, stroppy, vulnerable, lonely and efficient. Yet, for all her thespian wiles, with that enthusiastic sun sign in Aries Cynthia remains a flower child to a degree.
You see she retains that Pollyanna fire sign faith in humanity. Even on down days, when all a broad can do is consume a tub of ice cream in front of the TV she realises she is super fortunate, for not only has she hit the big time as an entertainer, she has become an emotionally mature, and perceptive woman. She keeps a realistic lid on reality however, and never allows those fiery Aries passions to get the better of her! After all, life can be a beach or a blip, and Cynthia wants to handle the “blip” part with exceeding grace. When it comes to love, her Sagittarius moon could make her a fast mover, unable to tolerate emotional back trackers; she strides towards the object of her affections with enthusiasm.  She demands loyalty, and will return such favors with gentle loving kindness.

With both Mercury and Venus in sweet Pisces she will get to know her lover’s soul in depth, understanding if they don’t feel too well, bringing them a cup of their favorite herbal tea on a silver platter.  She will merge with her loved ones preoccupations too, identifying with their hopes and dreams, siding with them at every turn. Her two daughters are her best friends; may be because she has always been so frank with them.  Her controversial relationship with Christine Marinoni disappointed the guys though, more than a few were hoping they would bump into her on a shopping spree “a la” Sex in the City. Sorry lads, this lady is fully ensconced in a significant relationship with a beautiful woman. She said, “In terms of sexual orientation I don’t feel I’ve really changed.   I’ve been with men all my life and I’ve never fallen in love with a woman, but when I did it didn’t seem strange.  I’m just a woman in love with another woman!”

Cynthia is dedicated to candor at every turn!  But it is Mars in Aries that will keep our Cynthia climbing up the mountain path. She wants to look down from the peak at her accomplishments, and see the truth of who she really is! She will not quit, no matter how far she has to reach.  Currently Cynthia is going through a pleasant emotional phase, there is peace and tranquility on her domestic scene, and she is enjoying life with daughters and partner.   She will want to tune into her more creative abilities by painting, or playing an instrument, expressing that Piscean sensitivity so prevalent within her.

She will be happy with her career, receiving even more recognition for her talents; her press office could create some interesting publicity campaigns that hit the bull’s eye over the next couple of years.  She will surely continue to be Ms Popularity, perhaps because deep down we all recognize what a nice person she is, no matter her role, that inner integrity sort of shines through and we remain devoted to her because of it.  She is a talent, and her devotion to her craft and audience, makes her the top of our list of people to meet up a mountain top!  Keep going Cynthia; we are watching your every move.

Susan Boyle (Britain’s Got Talent Star)

Birth Chart of Britain’s Got Talent Star, Susan Boyle

susan-boyleThe full moon on the 1st April 1961 will have been a time when the moon’s energy was strong and full of magical power. This is when an unlikely Star in the making, Susan Boyle was born.

Throughout her life Susan will have had to deal with the push-pull affect of this powerful aspect. Her conscious (the Aries Sun) seeming at war with her subconscious (her Libran Moon). Her assertive, fire Aries side at odds with her desire for companionship and love. A struggle that can take years of maturity to overcome.

Venus is retrograde in Aries in Susan’s chart, square Saturn and trine Uranus. Susan will express herself with charm and enthusiasm. Despite never having been kissed, she can be flirtatious, fun-loving and exudes warmth and exuberance.

Venus is not only retrograde in Susan’s chart but it also makes tense links with both Jupiter and Saturn. This points to a spell of hardship in her life and a difficult childhood.

When Susan was young she was ruthlessly mocked by other kids because being starved of oxygen at birth left her with learning difficulties. She admits that “words often hurt more than cuts and bruises and the scars are still there.” Her parents didn’t want her to have boyfriends, denying an outlet for all the love, warmth, sensitivity and fiery passion revealed by her Aries Sun, Venus in Aries and Mars in Cancer.

Her torment led to her seeking comfort in singing, a talent she discovered when she was five. Mercury in Pisces not only shows a creative, imaginative and poetic mind but a divine singing voice and an innate leaning toward music, the theatre and visual arts.

Susan plucked up the courage to enter Britain’s Got Talent after her mother’s death. She wanted to make her mother proud and felt the only way to do that was to take the risk and enter the show. It was a gamble that has paid off, with her tear-jerking rendition of I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables.

Venus links with Uranus in Susan’s chart, suggesting a singing talent that is distinctly her own and a life destined to move from familiar paths when at last Susan starts to follow her destiny.

Full moons mark the close of a chapter, usually within four or five days of their occurrence.

April 2009, when the moon is once again full in Libra and when Venus is retrograde in Aries and Jupiter in Aquarius, all reflecting those same planets in Susan’s birth chart, an episode in her life has reached an end and Susan Boyle the star is born.

Cassandra Peterson (Elvira)

cassandra-petersonExcessive, entertaining or just plain gorgeous whatever way you want to look at her, Virgo Cassandra Peterson, alias Elvira Mistress of the Dark is a one off lass when it come to the entertainment industry. Born in Kansas, she later moved to Colorado Springs with her family, and the very day after graduating drove all the way to Las Vegas to become a show girl. This is a lady who likes to live on the “edge”, no matter how absurd that “edge” might be, so since she had always wanted to be a showgirl Destiny waved her magic wand and Hey Presto, wish granted, after all she had the looks and the chutzpah. But her major morph into her the mega successful sub personality, Elvira Mistress of the Dark, was created with that Virgo will of steel and down to earth realism. It did not all happen at once of course. In the seventies she went to Italy and got spotted by Fellini who gave her part in his film “Roma”. She even became the lead singer of an Italian rock band. She later joined an improvisational troupe when she returned back home and built on the “California girl spiel” that was to become a major anchor to her Elvira presentation.

To see a “dark” lady talk “Californian Beach Babe” was absolutely hilarious.O n the way up the ladder Cassandra also posed nude for a few men’s magazines, being such an all American beauty and all. In fact a total contrast to her sub persona, Elvira Mistress of the dark, Cassandra is as blonde as Elvira is brunette, as peaches and cream, as Elvira is white skinned, and Gothic. It has to be said, Cassandra’s “Elvira Mistress of the dark” literally cascades on to shows in a figure hugging black gown, her cleavage plummeting to her navel, her black hair back combed into a six inch bee hive! Her glib asides and off beat comments were all the rage on popular late night shows, when she would preen in front of Jay Leno, David Letterman or some other such host, spouting so called “dark” absurdities. Petersen once said of her sub personality “I figured out that Elvira is me when I was a teenager. She’s a spastic girl I just say what I feel and people seem to enjoy it”. She is indeed magic, with all that self mockery, and off hand delivery.

Interestingly her Moon in Aries will always keep her on top of her art. She is deeply curious about the human psyche; intense in her exploration of it, paying attention to detail is fundamental when it comes to her performance also. She will always be ready to experiment with something, the more outrageous the better, the more challenging the more fun. Elvira’s persona is an exact and precise interpretation. Cassandra would have studied the phantomatic inner world of her Mistress of the Dark down to the finest details, so that the persona came over as 100 percent credible and 100 percent hilarious. Mr. Mercury also in Virgo wants her spot on with that creative flair of hers, it is so fundamental to the success of her act, to shine Cassandra has placed her off beat take on reality well before her love life, with Venus in Virgo she would be rather inclined to put long term relationships on the back burner, she needs to feel free and in command of her own destiny, and when love comes her way she is inclined to analyse it to dust before she takes the plunge. She is a free spirit and has such a strong personality it would be really difficult to mix and merge with her, as she would always want to do it “her way”. This is due to her determined Mars in Leo, and a rather stroppy attitude to obstacles blocking her way.

She is a lady who sure knows the score, as again Mr. Mars in Leo would be generous and gift her with the energy, the charisma and the determination to bring her dream into reality. Her “Elvira Cult” has been transformed into Halloween costumes, comics, toys, perfumes, dolls, quite an industry. In fact a film based on her persona, called Elvira, Mistress of the Dark was released to the delight of her fans! But the cream on this lady’s cake is her Jupiter in Aries; it will have given her the energy to really go for it, and touch the stars, to cut through to the chase, above and beyond her own misgivings or anyone else’s and just keep going, until she gets to the very top of the mountain. Of course we would not go so far as to call her a “myth in her own time” but certainly “fun in her own time”. As far as this year is concerned, there is not much change to all the unexpected events that continue to crop up around her. More talk shows, more meetings, more crazy times and maybe some activities involved with her beloved artistic ventures, or musical exploits.

As beautiful as she is we do not see a companion coming into her life soon, maybe because she is okay just as she is. Certainly she is a one off creation, Cassandra or Elvira; it cannot be denied she is an entertaining dame, and let it be said a great buddy to her mates, especially when she quits telling them what to do! A great gal in other words, “Dark” or “Light”, she fascinates us, and we will continue to keep abreast of her shenanigans, whatever and wherever they may be!

Gwyneth Paltrow

gwyneth-paltrowOur Gwynnie, a little princess with a lisp could have been one of her toddler interpretations, a cute little sweetie playing shy angel in the Junior Christmas play and then all of a sudden “the transformation” into a chatty adolescent, the kind of damsel who won the heart of the handsomest jock on the block. Gwyneth Paltrow was and is indeed a sheer communicator, airy, on the edge of windy, with sun in Libra and moon in Gemini. One could mistake her for a chatter box,  she was a curious teen in any event, especially about girl friends’ love interests and some might have thought she bore a resemblance to a multi coloured butterfly flitting around the campus. Now she lands on the red carpet like a super jet, dazzling in her designer frocks and radiant smile, not a hair out of place, emanating the aura of a brilliant young actress and one of the best performers of our generation. Let us not forget the English “thingie” and how she does that accent -  one could say she performs with idealistic perfection; an “out of this world” quality i.e. “Shakespeare in Love” or poles opposite the horror film “Seven” where she played the love interest of her once adored Brad Pitt. She was the sweet, innocent girlfriend in that “screamer” of a movie. Her pale blonde hair, her frank blue eyes, her gentle voice encouraging a particular co star to fall in love with her. But Mercury in Libra makes Ms Paltrow yearn for security away from the Hollywood set these days, the lull of a warm home life, the one she had when she was a little girl when she was doted on by her family and her every move was idolised. She still possesses that Libran need for beauty and harmony, so she continues her quest for consolation, perhaps to process the death of her beloved father. Yet, in her nest egg, away from the stress of keeping up a gorgeous appearance she is in her element in a track suit, perhaps down in her gym working out, yet tuned into her young family’s needs, they are her strength, her true inspiration. Neptune in Sagittarius pushes her forwards on a mission nonetheless, a mission of communication not only through stunning film performances, but art, fashion and music. Her marriage to Chris Martin has given her a vibrant structure to move around in. With him, she lives in a hub of activities, world music, philosophic musings, a buzz of friends and creatives coming and going. He is her soul mate of course. He symbolises her Uranus in Libra, which could make her confused about what she wants from that relationship at times. They both seek innovation, to understand the dynamics of emotions, to analyse them, to exchange new ideas, to bring conflictual issues to another level. She is interested in all types of alternative communications, non verbal, fashion, music, spiritual, not only her art. Jupiter in Capricorn makes Gwyneth stand out on the show biz scene. She combines an ethereal look, with pluck and thespian know how and she is an inspirational presence at any event. Her beauty grounds her, her gifts define her, she stands alone on the red carpet, emanating light, her Venus in Leo giving her that regal bearing, that queenly stance. She becomes exciting, stimulating, a true blue actress in our “grey” moments, when her full presence, her moving performance are so important to us. To her, she is still that Californian girl, a simple soul with a complex gift, to us that gift she has is the enchantment of an unforgettable performance. Even when she won the Oscar, so young, so emotionally, we cheered her on, we forgave her excessive tears, because no matter her contradictons, or inner turmoil, she is afterall, one of the girls! This year could be challenging for her, there could be some sort of project regarding a movie that tests her metal. She might feel let down by people she trusted but there is a sense that whatever happens she will manage to come through it stronger than ever, more mature in her lifes perspective and determined to find the right vehicle for her gifts. A new phase awaits her performances and it will be a deeper, profound phase. One that she is less commtted to in a way, but one in which she can expand her art. Good luck Gwyneth!

Samantha Fox

samantha-foxSamantha Fox once said “God gave me my body. I know it has made many people happy. There is no conflict there. I don’t and have never promoted pornography. I’m not a born-again Christian because I have always been one. I am doing what God wants me to do. My prayer each night is: “Let me go my way and make people happy. Let me do the right thing.” In fact Samantha, that bright and scintillating lady with the impish grin, that East End golden girl who has us so enthralled, has more than done the right thing, even though her life has been peppered with challenges and some emotional pain. She would just have to be an Aries, you know go getting, charismatic, with that never say die attitude so prevalent in the East End where she grew up. Her planetary placements show a harmonious sun moon combination which would mean the charm would come in bucket loads, and coupled with an unusual equanimity she is a rare pearl within the show biz fraternity.

It would not have always been easy for her to handle success, but she has a rather Scarlet O’Hara quality to her, so “Tomorrow would always be another day!”  Her late mum and dad were market traders perhaps that was why Sam was awestruck by show biz from such an early age, the glamour of it lifted her up and away from the school of hard knocks. She most probably dreamt of the silver screen, and saw herself up there with the stars. Mercury in Pisces would make her prone to dream! But nobody, not even Sam, could have imagined she would grow up into such a stunner and draw all that rapt attention. In early 1983, mum took a couple of piccies of her lovely daughter and submitted them to the Sunday People who were running an amateur modelling competition. And that was how Samantha Fox became a legend in her own time and one of the most mythical Page Three Girls in the western world. Of course, she had some challenges to contend with on her way up the stairway to success. One was her dad who embezzled her. She accessed her Mars in Aries to sue him and when he died in 2000, she had not seen him for years.

Mr. Mars looks after Sam’s interests, makes her stand up for her rights, and allows her to hold her own in a crisis no matter what!  That aspect helped her in her career singing career, she always loved music, and fought hard to express herself. She created three albums and her hit single “Touch Me I Want Your Body!” was recorded she was only 19 years old. She has toured Bosnia , Russia and the Ukraine and has had eight top forty hits. When it comes to love Sam would be complex, her Venus in Pisces gifts her with a heart breaking sensitivity. She might want to save those she loves, from themselves. For some time she had a relationship with a con man named Peter Foster, and together they adopted Simon a young Australian boy who accidentally drunk some alcohol and became comatosed. Samantha was absolutely devastated. Perhaps due to this incident the Faith really took hold of her, becoming the central focus of her life.

Her Aquarian moon strikes a rebellious note throughout her life. You see, Sam is an individualist, a humanitarian, certainly not a stuffed shirt; strict social mores get on her nerves, as does the status quo This placement would have made it impossible for her to remain silent about her deep love for Myra Stratton, her manager. “But I can’t keep saying ‘Maybe” or denying it. It is time to let people know where my heart is. People keep trying to say I’m a lesbian. I don’t know if I am. All I know is that I’m in love with Myra, and want to spend the rest of my life with her!” But it is Venus in Pisces that ultimately gifts her with her angelic qualities, making her so kind, so loving, so romantic so able to pick up another’s feelings and read them without anyone saying a word. The Pisces element would help her access the divine, the infinite, her faith in humanity and her love of God. She yearns for depths of emotion, an intensity she cannot access within main stream relationships.

When she connects to “All that Is” Sam is finally her own person, a true mystic, with closet prophetic tendencies. Take away the glitter, and you have a beautiful soul, who is intent on fulfilling her life purpose. And that is why we see Sam moving on and up over the coming years.  She will use her knowledge of life, and higher thinking to latch on to new ways of expressing her creative talents. Something revolutionary is going to happen to her and a result will be an enlightened pathway ahead. Her true node in Taurus will encourage her to seek the truth within her soul, always, and this is the crux of Samantha Fox, her spirit is the core of her. She has lived her life, her beauty and her gifts to the hilt. But as she moves into her later years, she will find she can apply the same intensity of purpose to her spiritual life, and her deep love for the human race. She will shift the attention towards helping others and succeed in this endeavour, perhaps due to her magical capacity to communicate.  She is an awesome chick, Sam, we love ya!

Sarah Jessica Parker

sarah-jessica-parkerForgive us for saying that Aries Sun Sign Sarah Jessica Parker is a bit of an enigma, a bit of a perfectionist and soft spoken rebel, the kind of girl with her finger in every pie, yet with a tendency to criticise herself and others notwithstanding her talent, and good heart. She is indeed a stickler, an extremely ambitious member of the Aries fraternity, her hard headedness borderline obsessive, her need to reach the top of her profession compulsive. In fact her friends and family are not in the last surprised she managed to strut her stuff to perfection in Sex and City and win four Golden Globe, two Emmys and more, for her performance as Carrie Bradshaw. She had worked hard from when she was a kid; her dedication to show biz was uncompromising. Sarah initiated her existence on planet earth as the beloved daughter of a nursery school teacher and a journalist, her parents divorced when Sarah Jessica was a kiddo, and she grew up in a very extended family; i.e. a brood of brothers and sisters some inherited from her stepfather, and some from her mum’s new marriage.

We envision little Jessica fighting for attention amidst the fray. We see her dressing up in her mum’s high heeled shoes, or pirouetting around the sitting room in her ballerina dress, the perfect fairy princess. It would have been logical for her to attend the School for Creative and Performing Arts, and follow up with a stint at the School of American Ballet. Mars in Virgo would have had her working at the bar far longer than the other girls, burning the midnight oil to practice her pirouettes. In the early eighties she got a breakthrough playing a mixed up teen in the sitcom Square Pegs, her performance was well received. Yet it was not enough to hit the big time, so she still soldiered on, her dreams seemingly beyond reach. Yet an encouraging moon in Capricorn encouraged her to utilise those ample reserves of energy and fight for her dreams. She soon found herself caste in four films, including one with Helen Hunt, called “Girls Just Want to have Fun!” But it was her role as Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City that really projected Sarah Jessica into the big time, notwithstanding the show’s sometimes dubious language, and rather controversial episodes.

Most women on planet earth identified with the four desperate New Yorkers seeking true love and yes, eventually finding it. In fact, Sarah Jessica’s depiction of Carrie bore some resemblance to her own sensitivity, insight, inner loneliness and distinct fashion flair. A rather cheeky Mercury in Pisces gifted Jessica with her heroine’s droll perception of life, so crucial to the character of Carrie Bradshaw. By the way, even Sarah can talk philosophy at the cheese counter, slurp over cups of coffee in paroxysms of giggles, or just get excessively inspired by a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes. Friendly Mercury is always her best friend; after all he has gifted her with that communicative dress sense, that sassy impertinence, that mischievous demeanor! As far as romance is concerned, well she is a Venus in Pisces, therefore a super romantic, i.e. Cathy to Heathcliffe, Juliet to Romeo. She had a big thing going with Robert Downey Jr. and she supported him through his drug problem, Venus in Pisces always encouraging her to understand his pain.

She once said “I believed I was the person holding him together” but eventually that relationship crashed, and she married Matthew Broderick, her true and destined soul mate. She and Matthew have a son, and all three of them are left handed!  So, when it comes to friends and family Sarah is the sweetest and most gentle person, always ready to support and love her nearest and dearest with every bone in her body. In fact, when it comes to her personal life she is adept at censoring the more hard bitten aspects of her show biz persona. She would fight to her last breath to protect her family, and is an adoring wife to Matthew.  But it is her north node in Gemini that will her guide this doll forwards on a planetary mission. It will encourage her to really get to know others through communication, compassion and understanding. You see, all Sarah Jessica Parker needs to do is to push herself a little less. After all, she possesses a magic key to a special door; it opens to evolved understanding, and a capacity to express the human condition through her matchless artistic flair.

At the moment Jessica might feel her career is stuck in a rut and she wants to expand, the second half of 2009 shows she will start looking at her craft from a different angle, perhaps becoming involved in film production or a new television series. In any event, an opportunity will come her way, and she will pick up on it! And by the way, if you are free for a shopping expedition honey, can we come?  We would just love to laugh and joke with you in the coffee house, chatting about how hard it is to be a woman in this mad, bad world! God bless you Ms Parker, you are our true showbiz soul mate and entertaining friend! We cannot wait to see your next trick!

Holly Willoughby

holly-willoughbyOnce upon a time that charming Aquarian babe, Holly Marie Willoughby became famous. That was after she was born in Brighton and raised by a down to earth double glazing manager dad, and air hostess, mum. Mum and Dad wanted the very best for their girl, and surprise surprise, it all ended “happily ever after” because their babe won a BAFTA for her positive contribution to children’s TV. She also had the luck to be born with Mr. Mercury in Pisces, so she would have had that cute way about her from the very moment she came into the world, and it stayed cute unless she had a tantrum, and got frustrated when mum and dad did not understand her. Anyway, Mr. Mercury would have made her dreams of being a super star come true. The fact that she managed to hit the jackpot did not surprise her adoring family, after all they had watched her grow in confidence, and rise to fame at breakneck speed. Almost before her public could focus on their TV screens, wham, she was a celebrity! Could a fairy godmother have guided Holly “to being in the right place at the right time?” Or was it down to sheer talent. In other words, what makes this girl so endearing to the public other than her devastating looks? At this stage one might need to summarise.

For one, she works and plays hard, always good for success. Two, she did model ladies underwear way back when, and also took a shower in a kiosk in Trafalgar Square to encourage the great British public not to waste water. Very, very Aquarian!  Her first lucky break was landing a part in a show featuring S club but she really hit the jackpot when she co hosted “Dancing on Ice” with Paul Schofield helping to attract over 8 million viewers. You see she has a fascinating Venus in Aquarius; it makes her princess-like, and attracts her audience. I mean with that cute smiley face and glowing skin she is just such a galvaniser! The kind of girl who makes a guy turn weak at the knees. Sorry lads she is already taken, she married Dan Baldwin a producer of Ministry of Mayhem, at the young age of 23. Her Venus in Aquarius would have swept Dan off his feet. He would have been amazed by the way she stared into the distance all of a sudden. She was just taking one of her detached breaks, alla Venus in Aquarius. But the fact is she would never allow herself to be swept away by her success story.

She remains resiliently down to earth, even though Mars in Pisces would make her prone to dream. Yet she is always determined to make what she dreams happen and that well placed Jupiter in Libra will help her to, ensuring her life is fair. She likes things upfront, people being straight with her and Mr. Jupiter will encourage her to pick the right company, people who believe in her, just like mum and dad always did. Currently, she is co presenting “Holly & Fearne Go Dating, with Fearne Cotton”, attempting to find dates for single people in the UK, her fun style fascinating her public as always but the true secret to her success, that factor that is so hard to pin down is her north node in Leo. It will make her a fun personality, so full of joy and laughter, a really good sport, a front line participator who endears the kids to her children’s shows. Her adult public appreciate her charming ways too, even when she caused that “fuss” when her dress slipped slightly, exposing a breast while she was hosting a robust game on the Ministry of Mayhem kid’s show. But the fact is our Holly did not let it affect her.

She likes to joke about her mistakes, she also likes her food, likes a drink too and to live to the hilt. She hates to be alone. Being surrounded by friends and loved ones is one of her raison d’êtres. She once said “My plan is to have children and turn my back on work completely. When I start having babies, I`ll have as many as I can” in fact surrounded by laughing offspring would be Holly’s ideal!  She need not worry, that starry Uranus influence will always surprise her and bring sudden and “destined”, events into her life. There is a sense she will develop a natural interest in spirituality as her existence unfolds. So what does it matter if she has doubts about herself some times? Her buzz remains dynamic, and will lift her up a notch when she feels down. The good news for Holly is that during 2009 a wish could come true. Something she has always wanted to happen, so that lucky star will still be shinning over her still, helping to fill our lives with joy. Go for it Holly!

Tamara Mellon

Filed under Cancerian Celebs, Female Celebrities

tamara-mellon“I may not have the stereotypical head for business, but I have feet that were made for heels,” Cancerian Tamara Mellon once commented. Even though this lady is so concerned with feet, she needs her business head screwed on straight to be the President of the Jimmy Choo Shoe Empire. She is the founder of world renowned cultish footwear worn so frequently in “Sex and the City!”, you know, the super high heels, the sexy designs that make any celebrity worth their salt, and that includes Elton John, shop as if they can shop no more! Blame it on her Mars in Libra, who gifted Tamara with a style that has us falling in love with those 21st century winklepickers! And make no mistake she has more than enough chutzpah to expand on that ingenious talent! But may we suggest all this resourcefulness might have something to do with an intriguing mix match of Sun Sign in Cancer and parental genes? She adores her ex Chanel model mum for better or worse, most Cancers love their mamas, but add on a sensitive Mr. Mercury in Cancer and this lady will have gently assimilated her mater’s fashion flair, and her  entrepreneur dad’s eye for business.

Tamara went to the best schools and finished her education in Switzerland. So being naturally chic, classy and international would not have been difficult for our heroine. She was somewhat “divine” from an early age. But it was her inborn eye for talent that spotted the bespoke shoe craftsman, Jimmy Choo in the East End of London. Both of them never looked back! Currently their ready to wear Shoe Company is valued at $101 million and stretches from London to Beverley Hills, from New York to Hong Kong with phenomenal success. Exquisite footwear has always been a woman’s panacea to the woes of existence, but the superb craftsmanship of Jimmy Choo more than delights stars such as Demi Moore and, Beyonce Knowles. In fact, “Jimmy Choo” has morphed into a fashion mantra guaranteed to get the celebs reaching for her pocket books! Their distribution to the general public is high class Kensington, their wear and tear, the red carpets of numerous Award Ceremonies such as the Oscars and Golden Globes. I mean, how can a star look a million dollars in that Versace gown, without the right shoes?!!  But Tamara is not only an exquisite lady with cartloads of charm; she is also a loving woman with her own share of emotional challenges.

She recently broke up with Christian Slater with whom she was very close for some time and is divorced from the banking heir Matthew Mellon, with whom she has a beloved daughter; Believe it or not, Mr. Mellon hired a Private Eye to trail her when they were going through their divorce in 2005! An extravagant Venus in Leo will gift Tamara with such a warm and loving heart she will be virtually irresistible. She just loves to be in the company of a man she adores, and of course who adores her, and shows her this with extravagant gestures – very Leo in Venus. She wants to show him off too, make him feel all her warm and fiery devotion. It is keeping the passion going that is difficult for Tamara. Both business and maternal commitments will take her away from partners for long periods of time. Mr. Jupiter in Leo, as positive as he is, can deviate the course of true love. The planet of luck and plentitude will want her to expand her vision, reach out for even more success, and sit in the hot seat with ruthless determination.

Tamara is impressive, her business sense grand, her capacity to throw the average moccasin, lace up, stiletto and ballerina out the window, innovative. But Mr. Jupiter will create conflict, especially since her north node in Taurus will want her to be intimate and close to those she loves, in other words to build up a strong and resilient family life and spend alot of time cooking apple tart and being a mum. We sense she is going through a time of emotional awareness, defining herself more deeply as a woman, realising if she really yearns for love, she might have to take less of a presidential stance. The fact is Tamara has a special mission, we say it is to glimmer; she might say it is to keep her life original.

She cannot help being a free spirit, she cannot help wanting to live high in the hog, all those qualities are written deep within her DNA, so she might as well enjoy her success, and  this year she will. We sense that she and Christian Slater will continue to see each other, notwithstanding the present break up. That somehow she will be able to balance her love life with her career, striking a happier medium. That she will learn that it is not so bad to put her career first, after all she is such a renaissance woman how can she do otherwise. This year and next the blessings should continue to pour in, so Tamara, sit back and enjoy your life; it is not only imaginative but brilliant!  Now, forgive me, but must pop down to Knightsbridge and buy me a pair of JC shoes. Tra la!

Victoria Beckham

david-and-victoria-beckhamOkay, let’s play a celebrity game! Who said, one If you haven’t got it fake it……!”  two “I want a big house, with a moat and dragons, and a fort to keep people out?” and three “I dress sexily but not in an obvious way, in a virginal way!” Yes, congratulations, ten out of ten, our celebrity is that great Dame of British Show biz, Victoria Beckham. Whether you like her fashion style is not the point. When we look at this lady’s astro heavens, she is one fully rounded, fascinating chick. In fact strangely, her looks deviate from her inner strength and originality. Why do we say this? Mainly because her Aries sun sign liaises with the soft light of a beneficial moon. In fact, that moon has slowly morphed Victoria into a wise humanitarian with a closet mystical bent, always ready to listen to new philosophies and perceptions. This is why she is so prone to experiment with avant garde fashion!  She is by no means a voguish airhead; she is a down to earth, astute being, with an extreme sense of humor, and a capacity to dismiss life’s challenges with a mere wave of a graceful hand. She also has Mr. Mars in heady Gemini, so she is fully capable of holding her own with her agent, her fan club, her enemies and her business associates.

Some people have wondered about her nickname “Posh” since as far as we know she has no relationship to the Queen. It was during her meteoric ascension to worldwide renown as a Spice Girl that the nickname stuck, apparently pulled out of the sky by a British pop magazine, but we sense those who used it were aware Victoria had a rather unusual perception of existence, like when she was a little girl and begged dad not to deliver her to school in his Rolls Royce! As a child she was from the Planet Venus, a one off, an outsider who other kids would pick on. They realised she was another “pasta”, and soon she would realise it herself. Since she left the Spice Girls, she has sometimes hit the big time with her songstress talents,  her single “Out of Your Mind” was number two in the top ten, but nowadays she has become more of a “modish mystic”, her unique fashion nose helping her design a line of jeans, sunglasses and perfumes. In fact she is obsessed with sunglasses, and has her own vintage collection. We are not surprised; hiding behind them when faced with over-excited fans, journalists and photographers, etc. is her way of distancing herself.

Of course she is more than grateful for her popularity; in fact she has now cultivated a grounded method of dealing with the excesses of celebrity-hood. Mercury in Aries makes her nobody’s fool; do not try to pull a fast one on Victoria! She wants you to be straight, on edge when it comes to business, intense and inspiring as a friend. Her own ideas jump hither thither like a grass hoppers and she will want to share them with you. As far as lurve is concerned we all know that Victoria adores her David. Venus in Pisces means that she is an incurable romantic and believes in Twin Flames and Soul Mates. She and David fell in love in 1997 at a football meeting. She reportedly said to her friends “I didn’t really know who he was, as I was never into football!” But the attraction was swift and awesome. Nicknamed “Posh and Becks” by the press they got married in an Irish castle. Victoria now has three children, Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz, with Elton John and David Furnish as the godfathers, and Elizabeth Hurley as the Godmother. But let us return to Venus in Pisces, since it is such an important aspect of Victoria’s “way of being”.

Victoria has a big heart, and a capacity to love unconditionally. Surprising she is not just the fashionable broad we all know and love. Behind closed doors she is a warm, giving woman, with such a close proximity to her husband and children, she sometimes forgets where she ends and they begin. When David reportedly had a brief affair with his personal assistant, she said “”I think we are a very weak, anorexic family. We hate food but we love each other to pieces and I think as long as we don’t eat each other then we’re fine, yeah?” But that phrase was a cover up for her true feelings, which was nobody would ever take her Twin Soul away from her, ever!  But get one thing about Victoria, with her Jupiter in Pisces she is an old soul, someone who has come to earth with a mission. Strip away the show biz mask, and discover a bright light shinning behind it. She is not in the least bit conceited about all her success, but she loves to play the game of “chic broad about town”. However, we insist, deep down, Victoria is an intuitive healer, and might just have to come out of her closet and admit it! A magical individual who can both stimulate and antagonise an adoring public.

We would not be surprised if she did much good for others, a good that she would prefer to keep under wraps. Over the next couple of years she will review her lifestyle in all its aspects. She will cut back on work, and examine her health, perhaps make a few tweaks to her training and diet programme here and there. Her North Node in Sagittarius will teach her not to scatter her energies, but to hone in to new objectives. Her mystic side will come to the fore over the next years, and she will start participating in a series of controversial projects, that both inspire and entertain. We can only expect to be surprised by the one off, adorable Victoria Beckham!

Emma Forbes

emma-forbesThe latest news on that lovely Taurus, Emma Forbes, is that she has been proposed as a replacement for Fern Britton on This Morning! Well, she has the right vibe, with that Venus in Gemini. In fact, she is a whiz when it comes to the art of conversation, and can put virtually anyone at ease. Plus she is a doting mother of two; the kind of lady the great British public can identify with. In any event, with her show business pedigree to stand her in good stead she would be a good person to hold through a This Morning crisis, i.e. the star guest does not show up, a sex symbol spills tea over her decolte, an overweight housewife pulls a muscle during an exercise class. She is the beloved daughter of Nanette Newman, and Bryan Forbes “a child of the arts!” as it were.

Her parents are both gifted entertainers, her mother a popular actress, her father a gifted film director, actor and writer. We imagine she was brought up in a glittering show biz milieu that included doting celebrity friends, in fact during her childhood years a next door neighbour was said to be Elton John! Emma was a graduate of the well known Italia Conti stage school and began her career as a children’s presenter, few will forget her “girl next door demeanour” and fresh faced approach to kid’s programmes such as Live and Kicking. But she had no intention of presenting L&K forever, She was an ambitious lady, still is, with that Moon in Scorpio. She moved on to presenting “What’s my Line!” and become the poster girl of a long running ad campaign for “Head and Shoulders” shampoo too. Perhaps as a result of that campaign, she was voted sixty fourth in the line up for the world’s sexiest women. But she is no big head; she takes success in her stride. She has worked darned hard to achieve, to overcome her own doubts and fears!

Her Sun sign in Taurus makes her a practical, “feet on the ground” type of gal anyway.  She exudes a personality that some may be in awe of it, and okay she could be inclined to dogmatism, or sticking her oar in. The occasional “storm in a teacup” might be the order of the day when she is only trying to balance her energies, like deciding whether she likes you or not. If she does you will be her very best friend and she will express her feelings for you with kind actions and a protective presence. She has high expectations from life, you know, and she is inclined to maintain her “high on the hog” perceptions regarding living standards, her space will be Feng Shui luxurious and her taste in clothes exquisite. Add to that delightful combo a Scorpion moon sex appeal, and she would attract the guys like those proverbial bees to honey. She might even be considered a closet sex kitten. These days she is married to husband Graham. Her vibrant Venus placement will make her a fun companion, she loves hubby’s intelligence, his capacity to see straight into the core of a problem, anyway he would have to be a genius, or at least a half genius, because she will want to talk to him about the String Theory of Einstein’s theory of relativity!

This beautiful gal suffered from postnatal depression, she recreated herself as a result, morphed into a Children’s Party Hostess to keep active and positive. Some might ask who is that lady rushing around, never stopping, not even to have a second cup of tea. Not to worry, it is just busy Mars in Virgo revving up Emma’s energy systems, and a more laid back North Node in Gemini revving them down! A bit of a mini conflict there, but it will all sort itself out, so you can have that cupper after all Emma. In fact we can see you are almost ready to admit that the challenges of life are an integral part of it, and no matter what happens your best bet is to hang on by your nails to that calm side. By the way, Emma is renowned amongst the under tens for inventing “Star Grub”, a great alternative to a doggy bags, and guaranteed to get the type of Birthday Party where, playing Oranges and Lemons is not even an option, off the ground.

Her love of children is an integral part of who she is. Emma is now a very active patron for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital. So yes, Emma, we would love to see you on This Morning, we know you would be an absolute Star. A kind and concerned Venus is guiding you on your way throughout the last part of 2009 well into 2010. Your buzz words will be “fun” and “success”, because things have been a bit slow, and now there are some possibilities to do the things you really love to do. We are shown success and popularity are going to be delivered to Emma on a silver tray, and she will be the last one to say no. Probably she will even pop off to make a cup of tea! Good on ya Emma!

Amanda Holden

There could not be a better name for Ms Holden, than Amanda, and no better sun sign for her than Aquarius. Her name sums up her life purpose for the meaning of the name Amanda is “she who must be loved”, and if you add on to that all that open minded Aquarian energy, and those beautiful but unusual looks, it is obvious she cannot fail to obtain the success she desires. Amanda was already an old soul when she dropped off on planet earth, and she continued to develop that inner knowing of hers, even as she grew up in an archetypical English village in Hampshire. As a child she had a naturally magical perception and a mesmeric attraction to acting. She joined a theatre group at only nine years old and went on to study speech and drama at  Bournemouth University , later graduating from Mount view Drama School, with an agent already standing by her side.

She remembers her times as a drama student in London, “I had a weekend job in a shoe shop to get me through college. I had a grant, but when you study in London you need as much money as you can get. I also once sprayed perfume in Boots for a week, but I couldn’t stand the smell.” She was obviously on a quest, and nothing could stop her from reaching the “castle at the top of the hill”, not even spraying smelly perfume. She continued to move on and up, her good looks and natural charisma drawing much attention, and opening up exciting new vistas. She is certainly a polished performer nowadays, gracious, a pleasure to watch. Those of us who are Amanda fans could get addicted to her strong role in Wild at Heart, the gracious way she judges contestants in Britain’s Got Talent. She sympathises with those folks; she made her TV debut on Blind Date! But not long after she moved into some exciting roles.

She auditioned for Tiffany in East Enders, but hit the jackpot in the successful BAFTA nominated “Cutting It” about stressed hairdressers overcoming life’s challenges. Amanda will go for what a director demands of her, her moon in Libra wanting balance, seeing the other fella’s point of view, consistently working to bring forth a superior performance. Her Mercury in Aquarius will help her synthesize her roles, overcome a tendency to impatience, learn to not always expect things be done “her way!” Mars in Sagittarius will nudge her on, help her work towards a higher vision of her career and life, and make it easy for her to channel energy into inspiring projects. She has a strong will and can adapt to whatever is lain out before her.

Amanda’s love life has had a great deal of media attention. Her first marriage to Les Dennis broke down, and they divorced, some say due to her affair with Neil Morrissey. She is now married to Chris Hughes and is the mother of lovely Alexa, her first child. Amanda is earnest when it comes to love, especially with such a gracious Capricorn in Venus. Even if she did not always succeed in her romantic intentions, she still wants to share deep sentiment, family life inspires her purpose. Mars in Sagittarius will make her straight to the point; she can only really say what she feels, sometimes to her own detriment. But still, up front Mr. Mars will compensate, gifting her with boundless energy, the kind of energy that ran the London marathon for over four hours on behalf of the Born Free Foundation.

Amanda has come to this earth with a mission, not only to be “one who must be loved”, but to move gracefully through life, giving of her talent, her friendship and her creative gifts.  She might feel she has to move on from a couple of challenging situations in 2009, leave old ways behind her, and examine a new take on her life and her art. She will find herself connecting to a different type of creative project, projects where she can expand, reach out to new ways of presenting her craft. After all she is an Aquarian, the water carrier, a free spirit, Her thought processes are original her take on life unique. We cannot wait to see her advancement as she continually entertains and intrigues us. She is indeed just like her name Amanda, very lovable indeed.

Sherrie Hewson

Filed under Female Celebrities, Virgo Celebs

sherri-hewsonNormally when one says someone is a “salt of the earth” the image is of a grounded personality with a practical nature and an open heart, and it describes British Treasure Sherrie Hewson to a T. She is lovely Virgo, so hard working, so no-nonsense, so matter-of-fact. And like most Virgos a chronic worrier, but in her case with a wacko sense of humor, and a honed in ability to see through pretence. She endears herself to us immediately. She is so ordinary, yet so special. So candid yet so sensitive. Tact is certainly not her middle name and when there is a battle to be fought; Sherrie will be in the front line. She would be the best person to call if you were in trouble. Mercury in Virgo will have her stand up to anything or anyone. Energetic Mars in Scorpio will help her face up to a challenge.

She will never forget a kindness, a slight, or her lines; a good memory is useful to an actress! Her Scorpio moon insists on making her a faithful friend too. When she likes you, she likes you. She will stand besides you if you are in trouble, and with one scathing comment cut your adversaries to the quick. Sherrie’s genes are sheer show biz. Her father was a singer, her mother a model, and even as a tot she brought down the house with her signature song “You’ve got to have heart!” In her teens the proverbial door to success opened out wide, not only did she win the Oliver award, but a scholarship to RADA. Her career started to take off in the seventies; she appeared in the famous Z cars series as well as Carry on Laughing. Her screen appearances included The Slipper and the Rose with Richard Chamberlain and Hanover Street with Harrison Ford. An exacting Mercury in Virgo will be her friend when it comes to examining a role in the finest detail, her well honed technique enabling her to merge into a characterization and yet retain a certain detachment, now that is sheer professionalism!

Sherrie also starred in one of the greatest British Soaps, Coronation Street, playing Maureen Naylor a rather daft supermarket employee who had a thing going for a certain Reg. Her performance achieved much acclaim. Yet when she launched into her second soap appearance in Crossroads, it did not go down quite as well. When the show folded she became a unique panelist on Loose Women! Her blunt communication style, her “out there” attitudes have the audience in fits, she always manages to “put her foot in it” with style. When one tunes into Sherrie’s astro picture, what emerges is solidity and a rich inner life. As far as her personal life is concerned, Venus pops up in Virgo here, so there could be an occasional pedantic “who squeezed the toothpaste from the middle of the tube?” attitude, but also such sweetness that the nagging is quickly forgiven.

Sherrie has a lovely daughter and a little grandson, who she will probably dote on, and tell fun stories to as they giggle and roll around the carpet. But ultimately, Sherrie has an indefinable quality, there is nothing small minded about it, Jupiter in Aquarius would not stand for meanness. She is inclusive, non judgmental. Sherrie’s north node in Pisces would also make her humane, compassionate, the archetypal “chip off the old block” ready to help anyone in need. It is almost certain she is a very old soul, and has come to fulfill her final mission on planet earth. We would be very surprised if Sherrie was not spiritual, a unique style of spiritual of course. She could be someone who believes in the inexplicable mystery of existence, yet not make a big deal out of it, she is far too practical. She would prefer to see the good in humanity rather than the bad, to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, even if her Scorpio moon will not stand for unkind individuals.

Even as a child, Sherrie knew success would be hers. She watched people, assessing their mannerism, identifying with them; these insightful perceptions have enabled her to be the fine actress she is today. She is on the way to change over the next couple of years, cultivating something new for herself, a new hairstyle, a new look, an even broader approach, she might travel, get involved in a charity drive, whatever she does she will shine at it, and perhaps even touch the core of who she is, that spiritual core that ultimately gives her inner wisdom and joy. We cannot wait to see your new choices Sherrie, we look forwards to them, whatever they are, because we know they will make us laugh, and always love you for the star that you are!

Oprah

oprah-winfreyNewsweek Magazine stated of this astounding woman, media mogul and philanthropist. “Every time a politician lets his lip quiver or a cable anchor “emotes” on TV, they nod to the cult of confession that Oprah helped create.” Okay, she does not have the African Queen looks of Naomi Campbell, nor is she your baseline showbiz personality but her showbiz chutzpah is matchless. She introduced a compelling “open your heart, let it all hang out” style to the airwaves, which has been imitated around the world. Her sun sign in Aquarius stimulated her personal evolution to this end, her spiritual perceptions presenting galvanizing “events” to the public.

We love her popular website “Oprah.com”, where we can enjoy meditation techniques and interviews with revolutionary new age celebs. She shrieks “reinvent yourself” at us, never afraid to take controversial stands even though heckled for her ground-breaking attitude. She is avant garde yet mainstream, investigative yet inspirational. Interestingly, she was nominated an Academy Award for the Steven Spielberg film the “The Color Purple” a story of a black woman’s struggle, similar to her own. Born in Mississippi to unmarried teenage parents her mother’s immaturity did not protect her from a traumatizing rape at only nine years old, and at fourteen, the birth of a child who later died in infancy. She lived with her grandmother on a pig farm for a while, her gran encouraged her, noticing that as soon as she could talk, and it was as if Oprah was on stage.

She later moved to be with her father Vernon, whose encouragement helped her pursue a higher education. She was earmarked as a bright spark, skipped two classes, became an honors student and was voted the most popular girl on campus. With the help of a hard working Guardian Angel and the glittering rays of Mercury in Aquarius her distinctive Spirit emerged triumphant. She chose to follow a media career. One of the youngest newscasters on air, she soon hosted her own show. By the mid 1990s her interviewing style brought personal prominence and mega bucks. She is said to be worth $1.1 billion. Yet, what magical formula makes everything Oprah touches turn to gold?  Okay, she is obviously distinctive, impressive, has great breadth of vision, yet could it be that Aquarian capacity to disassociate from negative emotions that is the key? She once said “be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough”.

A stirring Mercury placement will help her cultivate that inspirational capacity to see a bigger picture. Venus in Aquarius will make her magnetic, charismatic, captivating, fascinating, and able to charm others with her direct approach and benevolent energy.  She fascinated Stedman Graham, her long term relationship with this lovely man, after a series of broken romances, has given her the domestic security her heart yearns for. She needs that baseline love to support her dreams. Mars in Scorpio will gift her with a down to earth approach to challenges, standing up to trials most of us would balk out, always fighting on, reaching for magnificent dreams to her last breadth. She will never be sweet, she could be overbearing, and “nothing” can be allowed to stand in the way of her visions.  Her positive soul energy would stop her from being dictatorial and heavy handed though!

She is working for the good of humanity! Okay, she could be given to the odd explosion of irritation, but again she will never fall victim to moods. Jupiter in Gemini has gifted her with the capacity to assimilate information fast she might even have a photographic memory. She will continually attempt to broaden her scope, integrating more knowledge to her repertoire.  But it is her moon in Sagittarius that holds us forever enthralled. The High Priestess of any situation, she will lay her astonishing perceptions before us with grace and savoir faire. Her moon in Saggy will make her consistently curious with a love of travel and people. A humanitarian, opening up a school for underprivileged girls in Africa, not even that dream could be held back by a scandal that recently knocked her for six!

Perhaps her life’s inspiration works because it is found in the hearts, souls and dreams of others, in humanity’s capacity to overcome all odds, just like she did as a child. She will not let anyone block her, repress her. She could fall down over and over again, but that capacity to shine in the dark has made her the immense star of today. Her unique moon placement gives her that sparkle, that “once in a life time” presence, rare qualities that cannot be defined or put into a box, no matter how many envy, judge her, or see her as an upstart! That moon of hers shines on relentlessly leading us all on with inspiration!

In 2009 we will see Oprah working even harder. She will pinpoint her highest visions, pushing herself and her staff to accomplish. She wants something even better for her fans, something even more “enlightening” and she will not hold back until her search clicks into place. Some astounding project is being planned, perhaps to do with saving the world. Her name will be even more bandied around the world as a result she will continue to remain a phenomenal individual, who has graced our television screens with a revolutionary talk show concept that has changed the face of world media forever. Her support of Obama will continue, and we will watch agog, as somehow, something, deep within us changes, together with her. We are living in stunning times, and Oprah will make us more and more aware of this. We will watch you Oprah! We cannot wait for your new vision to reach us across the airwaves! God bless you!

Marcia Cross

marcia-cross“I have always wanted to know what’s going on under the surface” Marcia Cross once said. Such a phrase is not unusual for an Aries, a Golden Globe winner, a curious person and a magnificent woman. She smiles at the camera in one of those diaphanous “red carpet gowns, that moon in Scorpio, that north node in Leo, a fairy tale princess. Her splendid looks the kind that David Letterman of “Late Show” fame described as “strikingly lovely,” cover up a deep and persuasive nature. She is no superficial chick. She needs meaning to life, like a thirsty man needs water. She is someone who wants to understand the secrets of existence, someone who is fascinated by the inner life of a human being.

Her innate curiosity regarding all things pertaining to the human psyche has helped her qualify as a therapist; she earned a top notch Masters degree in Psychology as a result. In fact psychoanalysis would be just the right career for our lovely Marcia, with her Mercury in Pisces she is loving, kind, and yearns to heal the mentally confused. She started her acting career uphill though; her Uranus in Leo would have made her suffer when unable to get a casting or use her interpretative skills to the full. But she soon got into the swing of things and her first important role was that of a nymphomaniac palaeontologist in soap called “The Edge of the Night!” She landed a part in the 13th series of Knots Landing.

Her interpretative gifts are plain for all to see, especially in Desperate Housewives where she seems type caste as the super uptight Bree Van de Kemp. Hers is a riveting interpretation, it manages to convey such a strait laced, steamy neurotic, and she mesmerises us all! She has also played in US TV mammoth hits such as Melrose Place, in which she starred as the psychotic Kimberly Shaw with great success. She empathises with the workings of twisted minds, throwing herself into the more unusual perceptions of life with gusto; her degree in psychology would have helped her in this capacity. She has also had minor parts on Ally McBeal, Spin City , heavier roles have been in CSI, Profiler, and Touched by an Angel.  Strong, independent, winning and gifted, she is willing to give her all to life. Her charisma is awesome; her smile seductive, her red headed looks mesmerising.

She is now a spokesperson for gay rights, after having been earmarked as a lesbian by the tabloids; she retorted she is very supportive of the gay community. In 2005 she married Tom Mahoney, a stoke broker, and is in “heaven right now” as the mother of gorgeous twins. But she suffered when her previous partner Richard Gordon died in 1993 and was not seen to date anyone until she surprised us all suddenly “tying the knot” in 2005. Her moon in Scorpio would make her passionate, extreme, with a forceful personality, she is basically a “live life to the hilt” type of girl. Death would not scare her, but a useless lifestyle would. Her Venus, also in Aries, would make her seductive, glamorous; her life partner will worship her. She needs to feel passion emanating off her man, it keeps her sane, and gives life even more meaning. Romantic love and adoration are fundamental, as she gives as much as she receives. But then Mars in Pisces makes her easy to adore.

She is so respectful of people, she talks to them with consideration, listens to them intently, understands their quirks, and forgives them their faults.  There is a sort of “angelic” quality to her persona, she just extends out her silver antenna, picks up someone’s hurt, and holds them safe.  Sometimes her extreme sensitivity will make her want to keep a low profile though, and at those times she will not be emotionally available. The world situation will worry her, she will fear for the future of humanity and her children but then she picks herself up, dusts herself down and starts all over – a couple of days shut down is more than enough for her!

Uranus in Leo will give her an uncanny capacity to understand the greater scheme of things, to make use of her natural, inborn spirituality and feel compassion for humanity’s great challenges. Her North Node in Leo will also make her want to sing to her children, tell them fairy tales, happy to return to a magical world of childhood dreams with them. As romantic as the 18th century novelist Emily Bronte, her persona is a “cut out” from a Victorian scrap book. You see, Marcia is indeed a very special being, and will be a light to many lives in the years to come. The coming year will  be wish fulfilling for her, Jupiter is happy for her life, and she will find her career and family go according to plan. Of course not everything will be easy, but she will know how to handle things well, she will just click her fingers, say a couple of positive words, and hey presto, good things will come her way. Her mission is nearly accomplished, she has done all that she came to do. All she needs now is to sit back and let life give her even more. Expect to see a lot more of Marcia and expect to be surprised! She will entertain us, intrigue us and fascinate us for many years to come!

Kylie Minogue

April 15, 2009 by admin

kylie-minogue“I should be so lucky”, sung an adorable Gemini, the pint sized phenomena Kylie Minogue in a previous incarnation, before she became so polished, so glitzy, that utterly delectable  show biz phenomena, with a guardian angel guiding her well beyond the challenges of breast cancer, and an initial up and down music career. She now stands victorious, a world renowned star and OBE. We all remember her humble beginnings,  those Neighbour days in the 80s , when she was a cute little car mechanic Charlene Mitchell who not only fell in love with Jason Donovan, but sang a top ten duet with him called “Especially for you”. Believe it or not, their TV marriage attracted 20 million viewers!

Always super popular in Australia she won four Logie Awards including a Golden Logie for being the country’s most popular performer. But Fate encouraged her to take a trip to London where she signed a record deal with Stock, Aitken and Waterman. At the time her Mercury in Gemini she would have encouraged her to discuss different approaches to her career with them, and how she could sell her potential more. She wanted to encapsulate different aspects to her performance, but she was neither mature nor ready enough to present a sophisticated image of herself at that time.
Her debut album spent many weeks in the top twenty nonetheless, and it was the beginning of a career that brought her fame and fortune, but also complexity and challenge. She is a highly intelligent girl, with a volatile personality and an intricate mind. She flits from one idea to another, one situation to another, like a quicksilver butterfly, with her sun and moon both in Gemini, changing her opinion, thinking through emotional challenges till they turn to dust in her hands. She has sold in excess of 60 million records, still having the courage to change direction, to present another facet to her personality with Nick Cave who worked with her on “Where the Roses Grow”. It was a dark ballad of murder and lust yet it worked, her new take was accepted above and beyond her jolly style. It added depth to her. She said of Cave, “He taught me to never veer too far from who I am, but to go further, try different things, and never lose sight of myself at the core. For me, the hard part was unleashing the core of myself and being totally truthful in my music”. Yet this was the beginning of Kylie’s more soulful approach as a performer.

With that Cancerian ascendant, being truthful to her music has been challenging. She is sensitive, liable to be hurt when criticised, liable to hide her light under a bushel when over stressed by public and press attention. Her emotions are intense, difficult to express at times, even with that alert Gemini mind she can fall into a deep hole of overreaction to criticism, whether from the show biz fraternity or those she cares for. She has had some significant love affairs, one with Michael Hutchence the INXS lead singer, who as we all know, died in mysterious circumstances and who liked to “corrupt Kylie” writing the hit “Suicide Blonde” that she so inspired.

She was also involved with a French photographer called Stephane Sednaoui, and had a long term affair with the French actor Oliver Martinez, now over. Kylie might think she is not suited to commitment, but this is because of her Venus in Gemini. Yet when love is in the air she wallows in it that is until she gets into that unconscious fear of being tied down.  She does not go a whole bunch on emotional drama and is somewhat afraid of the “closer” more intimate aspects of relationships. With those sudden strong “Cancerian” emotions overwhelming her, and all that pulling back from a “fall into passion”, she can be confusing to the men who love her, usually rough diamond-type dudes. With that Mars in Gemini she can seem so detached, almost too playful and easy going. This creates difficulties, mainly because her north node in Aries makes her surprisingly introverted when it comes to love, totally opposite to her sexy image as a performer. When we see her on stage and screen, she is a free spirit, with an astonishing presentation, that awesome charisma, larger than life energy, more beautiful on stage that in real life, her astonishing lower back a fixation for males of all ages!

What gives her that warm vibe then, that communicative persona? One of her ex boyfriends said it was a combination of “geisha and manga super heroine” but we can see it is also Jupiter in Leo. Mr Jupiter encourages her to inspire us, to stimulate us as she accentuates her gifts, strutting around the stage with no self consciousness whatsoever. She is one of the greats, she has thrilled us, made us laugh and cry with her. Over the next couple of years she will find herself in a very fortunate position. There is a sort of “super Jupiter” effect, leading her to answers to her prayers. If she just stops her social rounds, her performances, and takes a trip to a wishing well somewhere, whispering what she truly, deeply desires for her life into its depths, all that she most yearns for will come to her.

That sweet innocent Charlene is still there really, the girl who just accepts life for what it is, without complications, able to welcome true love, and get married in white. If Kylie could realise that split in her persona can be united into one, we predict a wonderful, warm and loving future for her. God bless you anyway honey, you are our golden girl, and you take our breath away!

Judith Sheindlin

judith-sheindlinHard to imagine Libran Judith Sheindlin, alias “Judge Judy” was a “daddy’s girl”, but catch a glimpse of huge brown eyes and that engaging million dollar smile and you can well believe she was a honey. Born in the 1942 she cultivated that typical Libran “butter would not melt in her mouth” appeal. Her “meat and potatoes” mother however, would have wanted her to marry a nice successful man, which of course she did rather unsuccessfully. Above and beyond her love life, she was reaching out for a different kind of star She was a young woman in the sixties, and she was breaking through barriers to get to the top of her profession. Of course daddy would have inspired her successful career in the legal system. He was a dentist, a guy who strove for excellence, and Judy followed his example not averse to using her sharp brain to cut through to the core of a problem even at an early age.

Saturn in Gemini would have made her conscientious, crossing her t’s and dotting her I’s with meticulous exactitude. Therefore her choice of a legal career was not a surprise to those who knew and loved her, especially since Mercury in Libra would have encouraged her to study all night long to get through her bar exam. She passed it in 1965 and worked in the family courts system slowly building on her “to the point, no nonsense style”. But for all her brilliance, even she could not have imagined her star strewn future career as a television personality on her own syndicated show “Judge Judy”.  She had already achieved a tough reputation; she had indeed retired amidst praise and acknowledgement. A bright and energetic senior she said, “I’m not tired. I still feel engaged by what I do and I still have people who like to watch my programme!” But her slot on her prime time show was different to anything her audience had experienced; she fulfilled a need to see justice done, the bad guys put behind bars by a petite, wholesome lady.

Soon she was pulling an audience of 10 million, mainly female fans fascinated by her sense of humor and tough attitude. Author Brendan I. Koerner commented on the success of her show. “Court-show viewers don’t seem to want moral conundrums or technical wrinkles. They love Sheindlin’s show because she offers them a fantasy of how they’d like the justice system to operate—swiftly, and without procedural mishaps or uppity lawyers. They get to see wrongdoers publicly humiliated by a strong authority figure….” Some might see this show as politically incorrect, as drastic even, they might comment that arduous trials and convoluted legalities are best left behind closed doors, but still, no one can deny this lady is a riveting, addictive watch, a well chosen crowd pleaser. Of course she would have to be a Libra, wielding her scales of justice with almost surgical precision. Yet do not be bamboozled, Judith is not as tough as she appears. That “strong take” is a super imposed professional mask, behind it you will discover a gentle soul, deeply kind to those she respects, loves and trusts.   Her head and her heart are in two different time zones.

Her head is that of a senior, well educated, astute, with a keen survival instinct. Her heart is that of a young girl, with a deep love for humanity, “compassion” could be her second name. Venus in Libra would make her a true romantic, an old style maverick fighting for old style decency and fairness. She is on a heroic quest.  She demands righteousness. Her home would be beautiful, with that Jupiter in Cancer, not one speck of dust on the mantelpiece. She would receive her “chosen ones” with warmth and life long affection.  Her motherly qualities make her a super friend and a staunch ally. With Mr. Mars blessing her in Libra, she would emanate a chic, rater refined dress sense. Conservative, borderline “prim” she emanates a sense of “togetherness”. She is driven by something deep, perhaps an unconscious need to please. She carries a torch for her father; she wants him to be proud of her above and beyond the needs of a material world.

So what is this lady’s soul mission you might ask? Well, with that north node in Virgo, serving others, being a teacher and leader, an example of how a woman can cut through the dross.  Okay, if she uses the medium of television, so what. Judge Judy is on a higher mission. 2009 and 2010 shows a spiritual influence. She could lose a close friend; she could realise that special, sweet something within her heart needs to be expressed.   She has always had a deep desire for knowledge, so she will not stop when faced with a new surprising metaphysical new take on life. She is after all, a complex, multifaceted woman, the kind of soul that grows. We will always want to watch her, and will not be surprised by any of her new life choices.  She deserves her success!  As long as we see the baddie behind bars, we will cry, “Well done Judy!”

Kerry Katona

kerry-katonaSuch a pretty girl Kerry Katona, yet she reminds us of Cinderella, the beautiful orphan girl at the mercy of a wicked stepmother! She is a lady with so many wonderful gifts yet; somehow a destructive force pushes our lovely heroine slap bang into the middle of a series of challenges that would have many of us screaming for help. But as that old sixties protest song goes “We will overcome”, and yes Kerry “Will Overcome”, after all Cinderella got the prince! That magical Mars in Scorpio will enable her to stand up to the challenges and push until she breaks through obstacles. That intense moon in Leo will make her dramatic, emotional, and tormented by memories of past events, until she contains her larger than life personality with maturity and wisdom.  Ex Atomic Kitten, gifted commentator with her very own column, amusing TV presenter, she has the gift of the gab, and since she was born under the sign of Virgo, she is also hard working, grounded, ready to push for results. She is in fact a “never say die” type of chick.

Her north node in Leo tells us that this pretty lady is on a spiritual quest. No matter the foster families, her mother’s attempted suicide, being placed in care, her soul still shines through. In fact, before she landed on planet earth, she made a deal with her Guardian Angel, she said, “Give me a challenging life, one where I overcome all odds and become a star!” Her Angel is still working hard to protect her from her own expectations, making sure that the down side of stardom does not affect her too much. As a child she reached out to others, trying to make them laugh, to please, to enchant them, turning a grim reality right around! And as she transformed into a stunning young lady she experimented with her looks. She became a lap dancer for a while, and joined a dance troupe on a trip around Europe. Her Angel intervened yet again, protecting her from difficulties and some unpleasant people. She remembered she was meant for more, and wrote a wish list with celebrity-hood on the top of it. She was guided to join the popular band Atomic Kitten but left when she was pregnant. She married former Westlife star Brian McFadden and had two beautiful girls with him, yet they broke up and our Kerry thought the wicked stepmother had whirled right back into her life messing it all up!

She admits she used drugs, and child custody was discussed with Brian.  No matter what, kind Venus in Cancer, accentuated this lovely girl’s sweeter gifts, the ones that win through, the ones that make her loving, kind, so protective of the young, she is a patron of the Shannon Bradshaw Trust helping children with life threatening conditions!  She knows what it is like to feel alone; she knows what it is like to feel different! Of course, after her break up with McFadden, a new love popped into her life unexpectedly. She married former childhood sweetheart Mark Croft with whom she had another two children. But bad luck hit when she and Mark were taken hostage in their own home. The experience was horrific; they were threatened with rape and death. She was held at knifepoint, and even though they were unharmed, the shock was hard to get over.  She must have thought “Why did this happen to us?”

In fact Katona had to enter The Priory Hospital as she was suffering from bi polar disorder. The disorder was said to have been brought on by the robbery! Her stars show this lady is caught in the middle of a raging inner battle; yet her capacity to tune into the spiritual energies could help her achieve more balance and solidity. But first she will have to stand up to the criticism, the demise of her popularity, the fact that she was voted one of the most irritating individuals in showbiz. She has stood up for herself, yes, but her baseline childhood issues still sneak through. Her Guardian Angel is trying to remind her of something hidden in her date of birth. She was born on a “six” day. This means that underneath all that “acting out”, she has a loving nature. She is a good mother, a dear friend; someone one can rely on for a shoulder to cry on. She just has to work herself out, eradicate that entire “trauma deal” from the tissue of her life, or she will be inclined to repeat it again and again. There is a sense of spiritual healer to her, a sense that if she lifted her view of life to a higher level, she would find unexpected solutions and could help a lot of people. For now, she is caught between the higher Spiritual, the Lower material.

But remember folks; Cinderella went to the ball, even though the clock struck midnight, even though her beautiful dress turned to rags, and her coach into a pumpkin.  We all know what the outcome of that fairy story is?

In other words, Kerry needs to remember her gifts to find her prince. He is not a real person; he is a part of herself.  As her life unfolds, and solutions come, she will stand up and be counted. She will realise that being loved is nothing to do with the way she looks bur rather the way she is.   She needs to be careful not to float off into those Neptunian dreams that come in the form of alcohol and drugs, but if she can acknowledge the force of her personality, and get involved with helping others as much as she can, she will win through. She has so much energy, so much chutzpah, it would be no surprise to see her turn her life around in 2010, just as she did as a child. She will surprise herself. Our advice is do not give up honey, you have a wonderful life to look forwards to!

Madonna

madonnaAre you sitting comfortably, let us begin!  “Once upon a time there was a little girl, who had a little girl, right in the middle of her forehead. When she was good, she was very, very good, but when she was bad, she was horrid!” Most of us admire that superlative Leo, Louise Veronica Ciccone, alias Madonna. She is a show biz phenomena worth approximately $78 million, and a once in a life time “mix match” of talent and chutzpah. Number eight on VH1′s list of the “100 Greatest Women of Rock and Roll” she has an IQ of 140. She also oozes Latin style, her Papa is Italian, perhaps that was why  Madonna created those sexual/religious archetypes to knock dad’s, the Vatican’s and everyone’s, “socks off”!

Tick these different “Madonna’s” off your list: “good time girl”, “material girl”, “porn star”, “sexually liberated chick”, “spiritual soul in evolution”, “Kabala acolyte”, “British Aristocratic” etc.. Who cares if critics pan her consistently? Who is bothered if she has been involved in a series of abysmal films, such as the dreaded “Shanghai Surprise!” and the devastatingly bad “Swept Away” directed by hubby Guy Ritchie. Time and time again she pulls yet another “white rabbit” out of her hat to calm us all down! She has written some great children’s books oblivious to past ridicule for her bizarre emotional escapades such as that rock and roll relationship with Sean Penn. Of marriage she once said   “I think everyone should get married at least once, so you can see what a silly, outdated institution it is!”

Her fans worry not if she outraged the Puerto Rican House of Representatives for pulling their national flag between her legs during a concert, or if certain members of the general public balked at the sight of her kissing Britney Spears full on the mouth and saying “f” more than 13 times on the David Letterman Late Show. She always pulls through, her fans know that. The recent break down of her marriage to Guy instigated a move from London to the USA. Against all odds, she has smoothly reinvented herself, looking spectacularly gorgeous as she blazes a new trail to the public’s heart. But is she really a super gifted individual who overcame all odds, or a shrewd business woman with self aggrandizement tendencies?  Madonna has certainly morphed from dear little Louise Veronica Ciccone into one of the biggest female entertainers in show biz history.  Her mama, French Canadian Madonna Ciccone, died of breast cancer. Little Louise suffered deeply. That moon in Virgo would have encouraged her to “compensate” her mama’s demise. So naming herself “Madonna” just like mama, she carried a maternal torch and blazed it out into the world for all to see.

Madonna’s blessing is her natural connection to the Divine, she follows the road less travelled, confronting her demons. She will continue to blaze on, acquiring self knowledge and spiritual awareness in the process. Why? Well Leos are no quitters. Their fiery light can also unveil delusion, the hypocrisy of dogma and destructive man made laws.  “Ray of Light”, for which she won three Grammies, and her Golden Globe winning performance in “Evita” could have been dedicated to her mother’s memory, her performances were tender and beautiful.  Yet still, something mystifying is driving this woman on. Mercury in Virgo would help her perceive the multifaceted nature of reality.  She would also be prone to moments of nervous exhaustion, almost unable to talk as she heals her body and mind, and prepares herself for the next onslaught of creative ideas and total dedication to her craft. Venus in Leo would make her a passionate mother to Lourdes, Rocco and the newly adopted little David, forceful in the way she expresses her maternal emotions. Playfully sexy, she creates exciting “love dramas” diving straight into the intimacy of a relationship, giving utterly, spell binding to those who love her. She would not go a “whole bunch” on “moderation” especially when it comes to her sex life.  The Mr. Plodders of this world are not for her. She goes for creative, angst ridden geniuses and larger than life folks.  Of course everything is fine and dandy until Mr. Genius smiles at her across the dinner table with spinach on his teeth!  Madonna’s very treasured possessions could crash against the bedroom wall when he starts answering back also, (she would carefully avoid aiming at her esteemed art collection, with pictures by Frida Kahlo, Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali). Yet as she yells to “Kingdom Come” she knows she is moving on.

That same, turbulent Venus in Leo will have her sailing across new red carpets anyway, her Leo tail high, her face shimmering, her skin glowing, and her attitude akin to magnanimous. She knows how to be as sweet as a pussy cat. Mars in Taurus would give her incredible resistance to press onslaughts, crazed fans, physical stress, and radical life challenges. She undertakes the most grueling work outs, ones that would find you and I sobbing in a heap on the floor at the very thought of getting up at 3.10 AM to eat sauerkraut and run around the block 300 times.  So who was the Fairy Godmother who gifted wee Louise Veronica Ciccone with such grit and determination, all that talent, all that revolutionary insight and aptitude for artistic expression? Jupiter in Libra folks, that’s who. With good old Fairy Godmother Libra in her chart, her talent is born from a burning desire for justice, a need to stand up against those who doubt her, bringing to light prejudice, attempting to heal heart rending loneliness.

Madonna stands at the top of the mountain ready to plunge into the depths to show herself, and us, who we truly are. She is our mirror. Her crazy antics, her chameleon sub personalities, her gift for getting under our skin can only be due to good old Mr. Saturn in Sagittarius, he encourages her to seek truth and purity, even in a hypocritical society.  She titillates us, tantalizes us, challenges us, gets on our nerves, angers us, and yet we adore her. So what is up for her, within the next 18 months or so?  She will let go and move on, aching with feelings of lost love, her shadowy moods catching her unawares when she least expects it.  Yet it has been ordained by The Fates that her and Guy must end, and something better will come.  Not so much a new love, but a new way of being herself, a new way of performing, a new way of communicating.

She will touch the sweetness within her heart, and find inner balance.  She knows it is time, she knows she has reached a place of equilibrium, and that she can write a new chapter. We will watch her transfixed because this lady never ceases to amaze us.  She is baffling, peculiar almost, but we love her, and wish her the very best.  Continue to astound us Madonna!  We cannot wait for you to rattle our cages.

Cher

cher“Who is that Girl?” An exotic perhaps? Of Armenian descent on papa’s side maybe, with those striking looks?  So exquisite, one has to pinch oneself just in case she might not be real? Well, folks Cher, the singer, the actress, the businesswoman is a larger than life Taurean! The story goes her ma and pa divorced when she was little. Struggling to make ends meet, her mum, an aspiring model of Cherokee descent, acted in bit parts to keep the family show on the road. Cher was temporarily placed in foster care. But mama’s extrovert genes were to rub off, and Cher survived it all, knowing only one thing for sure – she wanted to be famous.  No matter the chaos of her childhood, Mercury in Taurus made Cher happy to work hard for show biz success. Music stimulated her, picked her up off the floor, made her want to touch the stars. She was gorgeous, it was the sixties, and flower power was on the rise. She was on the rise, even if her search for beauty and success seemed as if it would be never ending.

Her hippy looking style, long straight black hair to her waist, a skinny midriff, pajama pants pulled Warren Beatty when she was a mere teen. Therefore, her budding sexual maturity and streetwise ways more than compensated for early disappointments at school, when she was labeled a dyslexic. Meeting Sonny Bono would have been the cream on her cake. The Fates, coupled with fabulous Mr. Jupiter in Leo, guaranteed many open doors and encouraged her to build up even more talent.  She and Sonny were singing duo long before “I got you Babe” hit the big time, but he was soon the boss, and took over total responsibility for their hot act. Cher had started off as a back up singer for Phil Spector at Gold Star Studios when they first met. As we inferred, their relationship was karmic, so when Sonny died in skiing accident years later, Cher was inconsolable.

They had broken up in the seventies with a rather fraught public divorce, but Cher held no grudges. It has to be said she usually comes over as one tough cookie, her barbed wit cultivated when she suffered stage fright. Phrases such as “I’m still friends with my exes, apart from my husbands.” accentuates her still rather black humour. She can see the ridiculous in most things, even her gorgeous looks. Therefore she was not left entirely dumb struck when Clive Anderson said, “Wow, Cher, you look like a million dollars… is that how much it cost?” on his TV show, an illusion to extensive plastic surgery! She knows success puts her in the hot seat. She was born on 20 May; the number 20 is associated with renewal, and Cher has reinvented herself a thousand times over, and will continue to do so.  She won an Academy ward for “Moonstruck”, a Grammy, an Emmy, three Golden Globes and a People’s Choice Award.

Her sun in Taurus makes her earthy, inclined to dig her heels in the film set, sometimes afraid to express her deeper emotions far from the show biz spotlights, in case she gets hurt, for her heart is soft and sweet. Mars in Leo will make her independent, emotionally free spirited. She has been involved with Gregg Allman had a fling with Elvis Presley and Marlon Brando and dated Tom Cruise.  Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton and Mark Hudson have been sometime flirtations! Surprisingly these affairs did not initiate because of her looks alone, even though she sets great store by them. Her Venus in Gemini makes her naturally seductive, full of fun, and a great conversationalist with a unique take on life. Men adore her. Gay men worship her, for our friendly Cher is an icon, admired for her capacity to soldier on through emotional upset, even if criticised endlessly by the media for her stance on plastic surgery and fashion.  She has always had the courage to be who she is, and will not back down, ever. It has to be said she suffered guilt issues when her own daughter came out as a lesbian, but as she said during a Parkinson interview “perhaps I should have baked more cookies.”

A comment from Alec Mapa of The Advocate, puts it all in a nutshell, “While the rest of us were sleeping, Cher ‘s been out there for the last four decades living out every single one of our childhood fantasies. Cher embodies an unapologetic freedom and fearlessness that some of us can only aspire to!” But it is Ms. Moon in Capricorn that makes Cher such a vital personality, someone who can protect themselves from the onslaughts of show biz media, with all its bitchiness and one-upmanship. She does not need to be anything other than naturally poised, stable, and ready to hold her own.  Her Capricorn moon helps her forgive those who hurt her, remaining high-minded when it comes to live and let live, understanding sometimes unfair behavior, bearing no grievances against anyone who did her wrong, whether emotionally or career-wise.

She is a million dollar babe, and we can see her continuing in her usual very humane and loving manner. She could do nothing else. Her experience has made her broad minded, and openhearted.  She threw herself into life 100 percent, even challenging the fates, and certainly winning through. For Cher, the next couple of years shows even more success. It has to be said that Cher does not like to age, it depresses her.  But this year she will be pushed into the limelight, and stand down some of her fears about change, physical change above all.  She will be surrounded by a loving family and friends, and realise that no matter how old she is, she can still enjoy a happy relationship with a very special person. We are cheering for you Cher, keep up your wonderful work! You are our inspiration! As you, yourself, once said, “Living your life the way you want to live it is the most important thing so if you have to pay small prices along the way, it’s not important!” God bless ya!

Cynthia Payne

cynthia-payneCynthia Payne always had a gift for party planning. She was the proverbial “hostess with the mostess!” in her younger years! From an early age, when she probably threw tea parties for her teddy bears and dollies, she loved to have fun. Those who knew and loved her back then sensed something akin to a jazz band playing in her vicinity. She seemed to have more than an eye on life’s rhythm. Cynthia knew she was meant for the “extraordinary”. Growing up in bleak nineteen thirties Bognor, not a town renowned for its “spin city” vibe, pushed her to roll up her sleeves and embellish on her destiny. That cheeky grin, that impish attitude coupled with a fun Mercury in Sagittarius takes the edge off that Capricorn hard headedness of hers, no doubt about it she is a dame to enjoy life with. In fact, Saggy both in Mercury and Venus turns her into a girl who can party till the “cows came home!” A good mix of base line entertainment and every day reality Cynthia’s your archetypal free sprit “par excellence!” No prude for sure, with Ms. Mars in Virgo sex is a necessity to well being in her book, nothing to make a fuss about!

Her “no nonsense” demeanor has always endeared Cynthia to many, especially those of the opposite sex. Add an inborn “hail fellow well met!” perception of her working life and a distinctive path emerges. Perhaps it all really began when the police raided her quiet, suburban home in 1980 to put a stop to risqué-preplanned frolics. Cynthia’s entertainment cartel was geared to relieve stressed out highflying businessmen. But throw in a couple of vicars, and one or two politicians and the shenanigans are off to a good start! The chaps would let it all hang out as they caroused with an assortment of entertaining ladies, picking a pretty favorite to have even more fun with! The result – Cynthia did time for running what was considered a brothel, but remember, whatever Cynthia wants, Cynthia gets and she would get justice sooner or later. Why? That moon in Scorpio does not permit her enemies to win, she will wait by the side of the proverbial river until their corpses come floating by, metaphorically speaking of course – a Scorpio sun sigh trait.

Cynthia‘s moon incorporates a “never say die” attitude so she stands by what she believes. No hypocritical social mores for our friend. She would lay her life on the line, standing up to what she perceives as free sexual choices. Anyway, she liked her parties and she liked her friends, and she wanted to enjoy the fun on a continuing basis.  She was not going to give in to media disapproval or intimidation. The result was even more high jinks in her home, and she had the whole of England laughing about it to boot! Another police raid pulled the plug on what “the forces that be” saw as “monkey business”, The guest list at that particular gathering ranged from well known politicians, show biz folks, and hilarious undercover policeman in disguise, one envisages the whole occasion going down rather well on the Monty Python show!  Cynthia put her foot down strongly yet again. She was doing nothing wrong; the raid was an invasion of her privacy, and the intimacy of VIPs who were just enjoying all that party planning!  She was put on trial again, but decided that there should be radical changes to the UK ’s sex laws!

Her charismatic, go getting attitude won thru and she was discharged of all accusations. The happy ending is that now she is an after dinner speaker, and author of “Entertainment at Home!” It is her Jupiter in Virgo that will always encourage her to present a new way of looking at adult entertainment, something that inspires, significantly shakes up the status quo. She will keep on course, and not allow anyone to put a spanner in the works, nor take notice of super critical folks. That North Node in Pisces will push her on to a visionary, bigger picture. Cynthia will expand her communication skills, not only to win democratic sex for all with her after dinner talks, but also to win justice for those less fortunate than herself. In fact, taking some new steps towards sustaining others in need, or perhaps helping a friend in an every day capacity. This warm hearted, strong, and fabulous lady will plot out a new path, always full of that dynamic energy and always ready to shake her perceptions. Keep a look out for Cynthia, she might drop in on your area to present a fun party, or an after dinner talk; for goodness sake don’t miss it!

Claire Richards

Filed under Female Celebrities, Leo Celebs

claire-richardsOur theory is that Claire Richards was born with that proverbial spoon in her mouth. Why, is she so lucky? Well suffice it to say she is a stunning young celebrity, first known for her membership of the pop group Steps, secondly for her communicative talent, and thirdly for her capacity to morph into the “incredible shrinking woman” after losing the four stone she put on as a result of pregnancy. Initially, she was picked for Steps due to obvious talent. She has a delightful vibe. Mercury in Virgo gifts her with a versatile approach to her craft, communicative skills, and a certain artistic sensitivity. She is a Leo too, and most Leos have something “larger than life” about them. Claire is no different; she possesses a charismatic persona, with the capacity to touch the heart of an audience.

Showbiz executives cottoned on to those gifts of hers fast, but she was told to lose weight if she wanted a long-term career in Steps. She always had the will power to slim down but it was not easy for her to control that feeding frenzy when pregnancy encouraged her to  “eat”, “eat”, “eat”, but as she inferred on a television interview later on, she wanted to relax, and just enjoy the experience. She later won her battle of the bulge, and has morphed from a plump neo mum into a svelte performer with an exercise DVD, various spots in Woman’s magazines, and a future that beckons new frontiers. As we said, Claire is a magnificent Leo, but she has does have some issues with self-confidence, and the needs of an ever expanding personality. Getting “ahead” and “getting noticed” will be part and parcel of her personality. That Leonine tendency to say, “look at me, look at what I can do!” might clash with her Virgo moon’s rather self critical and pedantic attitudes. She will look at herself and say, “I should change that, do better here, be more positive there, etc.” until she drives herself bonkers. Nobody is more critical of herself and her look than Claire.
Of course, it was very exciting to be a star so young, and fast, but certainly not always easy to be “in Vista”, and deal with that grinding publicity machine.  She wanted fame, and to move ahead at break neck speed nonetheless, and this could have created tension within Steps. She has low tolerance for what she perceives as small mindedness and being such an individualist, groups crowd her. She did resign from Steps eventually, and she and Ian Watkins began a singing duo doing well with a number three in the charts. Her North Node in Libra would make her very “stand alone with my talent”.  She can push to get what she wants, and will get fed up and short tempered in the process, not wanting to wait long for anything.  After a while, she dropped the singing completely, and decided to marry Steps dancer Mark Webb; they split but later she got romantic with Reece Hill, and gave birth to their boy, Charlie, in 2007.
Her approach to romance is “Gone with the Wind” thunder, passion and intensity; she likes a man to woo her, to make her feel a thousand dollars. She wants things intense in most areas of her life, and her “all or nothing” Leo sees to it that patience is not number one on her list. Yet her big heart and loving attitude will bring her all the internal balance and harmony she needs to succeed. More maturity will certainly build on fame and further her already star studded career. Certainly she needs to get over those Virgo moon self-critical perceptions, and reach the top with a dynamism that is so natural to her. The fact is, this lass was picked on by the fates to carry a special message to the world, a message of joy and warmth, but in the process she will learn a little more about her own soul. As the years unfold understanding that success is not the “be all and end all” will relax her, refine her thoughts. Add on self-acceptance and learned patience and she will grow in stature as a human being and performer.

2009 shows her doing well. She will reach a wider audience and expand her field of action. The good she receives will be worth all the hard work. She loves being a mum, but she will also enjoy getting out there, with the rest of ‘em, working on standing up to obstacles along her path. There should be some interesting projects to get involved in over the next couple of years for our Claire, and a new approach to her act will stun her fans. A change in routine, a tweak to her repertoire, a capacity to move forwards, experimenting and enhancing her performance, confirms our theory that this delightful young celebrity was indeed “born with silver spoon in her mouth”.

Joan Rivers

Filed under Female Celebrities, Gemini Celebs

joan-riversWho is the loud-mouthed blonde with that deafening New York accent, the senior citizen with the quick repartee and noisy personality? The kind of dame that could wake the dead with her strident take on human existence? Why Super Gemini Joan Rivers of course. With her Sun, Mercury and Venus all in Gemini, she is a communicative broad par excellence, the kind who wisecracks all the way to the plastic surgeon, dentist, beauty parlour, hairdresser, psychoanalyst and coffee shop. Nothing escapes her bright, penetrating mind, her hilarious take on the human condition. She is the kind of lady who can look at tragedies, joys and most human escapades with a piercing scream and a deafening shaggy dog story!

Joan Alexandra Molinsky is a Brooklyn girl, her genes are Russian-Jewish, her upbringing middle class, and her dad was a doctor. But she inherited a special, magical gene, to do with Yiddish self parody, and it only came to the fore after she saw Lenny Bruce, and in her own words had an “epiphany”. She was studying anthropology at the time! So it took a while for her to cotton on that show business would be her raison d’etre. Everyone else could have told her she was a natural.

With that Gemini in Mercury, quicksilver asides and brash comments were already an every day reality. She penetrated to the heart of a matter, picked facts to pieces, and leaving no stone unturned cut to the chase with that desecrating humour of hers. Yet her personal life was no joke. She married twice, and has one lovely daughter, Melissa. Sadly, her second husband committed suicide. Still, Joan cannot do emotional drama, she skates the surface of complex passions, preferring a humorous approach to suffering. Never famous for her tactful take on life, she is to say the least contentious. Yet when she started out her comedy career, her stand-up shows in Greenwich Village were hugely successful. She was a force of nature, a vibrant one-off who could tell a hilarious yarn till she had you gasping for mercy. Her vision of the foibles of humanity were so riotous, she soon got spots on numerous US shows including the Johnny Carson and the Late Show. Female comediennes were as a rare commodity then as they are now, and there is no doubt she cleared the way for future “funny women” to strut their stuff.

Interestingly, she was taken off the air on a British lunchtime talk show, due to her use of raucous language, and description of Russell Crowe’s flawed personality. Joan was said to be “thrilled! by this event! She has also “appeared” in Shrek doing an even crazier version of herself, and often hosts red carpet award ceremonies with bizarre takes on fashion and gossip. Her Venus in Gemini is guaranteed to turn her multidimensional wisecracks into an art form. She twists and turns the English language around scandalous gossip with grace and dexterity. She does not do inflexible when it comes to her act; she likes to improvise on the spur of the moment.  Mainstream she is not, organised she is with that dynamic Mars in Virgo. She is a reliable performer, she keeps to the contract, and makes sure she is in good health and looks lovely enough to continually pull an interested audience. Her energy is high voltage; she can keep going for hours.

There is nothing funny about her dedication to her art; it is as total as her commitment to surgical enhancements. She looks incredibly young and attractive, and has even managed to turn her “look” into an art form. She even performed a cameo as herself on the popular TV show on plastic surgery, Nip/Tuck! As weird as our Joan night look, seem and be, her fans adore her, and sit riveted to their seats as she rattles out one scandalous gag after another. She is, in short, hilarious! So what is this woman’s spiritual quest then?  Basically it is to become an incurable romantic. Pisces in her north node virtually demands a sentimental love story out of her. All that Piscean emotion wants to make her a woman who can go deep into the heart of a matter, and not joke about it. She will learn in fact that there is a mystical mystery to life, as time marches on.

These next couple of years show her contending with her health, her eating habits, and a few detox diets to keep herself in good shape. She will be tweaking certain elements of her act, changing her style slightly. Her humour will become softer, kinder, more tolerant, there is a sort of transformational energy seeping all over her lifestyle, and it will encourage her to not only live to the hilt but weave even more success into the tissue of her emotional life. Joan is a pioneer, a woman of class and charisma, who attracts us, surprises us, and always makes us laugh. Joan Rivers, continue to go for it, we will watch you on our small screens with continued fascination and hilarity.

Donatella Versace

donatella-versaceIn 1997, the irreplaceable Gianni Versace was murdered by a madman on the steps of his spectacular villa “Casa Casuarina” in Miami. It was the tragic demise of a myth, a wound that hit the fashion industry hard. Yet his sister Donatella “bit the bullet”, Mars in Gemini inspiring her to carry his flag, to not let years of hard work turn to ashes. “The show has gone on” and she even now she organises couture shows, furniture design, hosts stunning parties for her celebrity friends! But after Gianni’s death the whole Versace family moved to a sheltered environment in the Caribbean, and took their time to grieve. She did not want Gianni’s death to end up a tragedy that eclipsed the wonders of what he had created. She had always been aware of the dangers; after all she had been Gianni’s support system for years, his secretary, his adviser, his muse. They had come on a long way from childhood in Reggio Calabria, southern Italy, an archaic land of age-old customs, and rigid social structures.

One can only conclude that the atmosphere of that place challenged a younger Gianni, firing up his inimitable style. Gianni learnt his craft in his mother’s tailor’s shop, and after creating a following in his hometown, moved on to Florence, and knitwear design. Donatella planned to work as his PR; she was a restless young woman with that Mars in Gemini, unable to sit around doing nothing. She wanted to participate, she wanted to fiddle with cloth and designs, but ended up being her brother’s support system, an inspired critic of his style, her down to earth approach a framework within which Gianni created exclusive fashion trends unhindered. She was the “power behind his throne”, her Taurean grasp on earthly reality enabling her to run the show, and what was to become a colossal fashion empire. She perused the small print, followed the twists and turns of Italian bureaucracy and demanded excellence of herself and her staff.

Her Mercury in Taurus makes her sympathetic to a model’s love problem, or a member of staff’s family issue. A stroppy Venus in Aries wanted people to be straight up, honest and transparent. She could not deal with double talkers but was ready with the tea and sympathy if you needed a shoulder to cry on. She listened to Gianni’s emotional woes. Mars in Gemini could have made her impatient, she could have nagged him, criticized him. She would have delivered hard headed advice, made him face up to his more pedestrian, versus creative, responsibilities, like the smooth running of a show, the right attitude to the press. She was indeed inspired to guide her brother thru the obstacle race of running the first throes of a successful fashion house in Italy. Yet Gianni never felt brow beaten, he got used to her pep talks, her Jupiter in Cancer would have made him realise her comments were for his own good, he knew how deeply she loved him, how well she stood up for the Versace family. There is no doubt she led him on to glittering international success. Perhaps because she had seen her own mother grapple with material problems when her parents divorced, she had always respected persistence, knew it was fundamental to success.

Interestingly, her north node in Sagittarius inspires her to look at the metaphysical aspects of life, realising there is something unexplained about the nature of reality. Good old Saggy would encourage an open hearted approach to communication too, helping her to inspire her perfect ambassadors for Versace fashion, Sir Elton John, Liz Hurley, Catherine Zeta Jones, Kate Moss, to name but a few, and they all adore her! She encourages them to parade in her shows, rewarding them with gifts and loving attention.  She is indeed the heart of   any social event, generous, dependable, helpful, kind, imaginative, revelling in the limelight, still ready to come to terms with problems, and defy challenges. Life would be boring for Donetella if there were no stimulation to it. Her stress levels hold up a well defined nine on the Richter scale. Only someone so tough and strong could have continued to fight on for beauty, style and her brother’s vision. It has to be faced Donatella is a rock, an earthy woman whom others can rely on, a perfect advertisement for her brother’s unique style and creative flair.

A well-placed Venus makes sure that even with the present world credit crunch nothing can touch the future of the Versace industry. She will feel less concerned anyway; she will just flow into all the abundance she has created, enjoying her life, taking more breaks and holidays, knowing that she has succeeded in carrying Gianni’s flame high for all to see. You can bet her celebrity friends will receive more gifts from her, she will also want to be of service to others in some way, perhaps donate a massive amount to charity. Even though she has seen the death of her beloved brother and it hit her to the core, Donatella knows that life has blessed her, and as time goes on she will appreciate all she has given, and all that she will continue to receive. Yes, the moon shines gently on her and her family now, and will continue to do so for years to come. Her success was hard won, it did not come on a silver platter, and nothing was gifted to her. She and her brother were self made geniuses, an inspiration to all young fashion designers today. We admire you Donatella Versace!

Anne Robinson

anne-robinsonHard to imagine that Queen of Mean, “You are the weakest link, goodbye” Anne Robinson looked like a pin up in her youth, with well-distributed curves, lovely skin; smiling eyes, flame red hair. She was a war baby, born on 26 September 1944 certainly no shy pussycat but a rather baseline Libran pessimist, yes they can be when those scales start to tip. These days she has built her fame on a stroppy personality and an inclination to express. Dogmatic opinions. She is a doll like 5 foot 1 inch tall, but has a larger than life persona that excels on her international hit “The Weakest Link”. Jupiter in Virgo would have made her life an archetypal success story; she has literally skills and a gift of self-expression just right for the journalistic field. She was the classic junior reporter who fell in love with the boss, subsequently married the boss, and to cap it got the scoop, e.g. the Brian Epstein story, just shortly after he committed suicide. She picked up a relative of Mr Epstein’s who had just missed a taxi at Euston station.

Another scoop of hers was spotting that Diana Princess of Wales suffered from an eating disorder. Would you be surprised to know that Anne seeks romantic love, and will have swept both her husbands off their feet with her charms, her quick repartee, and base line loving? Certainly she will have also disconcerted them with some emotional shut downs and chronic self-absorption, due to unresolved childhood issues. She is of basic Irish stock; her dad was a teacher, her mum a businesswoman, so no apparent conflict there. But notwithstanding all her success, it is evident Ann suffers from severe stress. Saturn in Cancer will prod her into self-doubt, extreme sensitivity and lack of confidence. She admits a drinking problem, has been banned from driving for speeding, has had relationship problems, culminating in a difficult divorce, and wrote disparagingly about herself as an alcoholic mum in “Memoirs of an unfit mother!” She has also been at loggerheads with show biz folks such as Ben Elton, and believe it or not “the Welsh people!!” who she panned and later apologised to.

It seems she likes controversy, or at least finds it impossible to stand back from. Blame it all on heavy handed Prof Saturn, who is trying to teach her how to curb self excess. Anne feels consistently held back, misunderstood and undervalued, notwithstanding her obvious achievements. She is indeed simmering with self-blame, inclined to project her inner perceptions onto life; so being the powerful woman she is, the chaos manifests in the form of controversy, and subsequent guilt. Mercury in Virgo will make her an intellectual, a woman with a fine brain, who uses it to take care of her money, in 2006 the Sunday Times named her as one of the UK ’s richest ladies worth some £60 million in her vaults. But we will let you into a secret, Anne Robinson is really a “chip off the old block”, an incredibly nice woman, someone who yearns for the warmth of human fellowship, and regrets not having as much of it in her life as she would like.

Her Mars in Libra will make her yearn for balance and harmony in all her relationships, and even present a more polished way of being in the world. And notwithstanding all the controversy buzzing around her she will manage to distinguish herself in this direction eventually. Yes, her Libran scales are slightly skew whiff, but with a little push she can get them back into harmony. Since we have all cottoned on her mean persona in The Weakest Link is “just for the ratings” we sense that her latter years will be full of humor, self awareness, and happiness, and rather than the “weakest link” her life will become “the strongest link!” Her true lesson is to learn to love others, yes, to put them before herself, and once she can do that she will feel fulfilled.

She will acknowledge that she has adored her daughter like every loving mother, and notwithstanding her “imperfections” Anne will learn her capacity to love others is greater than her capacity to dislike herself. She is profoundly kind, generous, and one who understands suffering donating to charity behind closed doors. She needs to look after her well-being, perhaps get some alternative health therapy like hands on healing.

Over the next few years she will heighten her view of life into a less personal one.  Yet she is a special soul who is being prodded by Mr. Saturn and Mrs. Venus to love herself before she can let all her gifts let rip. This year she could plan or write another book.  She will be transforming her perceptions and making an effort to help others even more. She will find new streams of creativity and use them for creative outlets. Anne is fundamentally a distinguished, gracious lady, the only person who needs to recognise that fact is Anne Robinson herself. God bless you Anne!

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall

prince-charles-and-camilla“We acknowledge and bewail our manifold sins and wickedness, which we, from time to time, most grievously have committed, by thought, word and deed”. These words could have been pronounced by a princess on the eve of 12th century wedlock; instead they were spoken by Charles’ lover and Cancerian sun sign Camilla Parker Bowles on their wedding day. Some people would classify Camilla as an archetypal Blue Blood, a Lady of the Hunt; she is currently the second most powerful woman in the United Kingdom, next to the Queen. Camilla hails from an esteemed upper class family, the great granddaughter of Edward VII’s mistress, Alice Keppel, and the great-niece of Violet Trefusis, who caused a scandal in the twenties when she eloped with intellectual Vita Sackville West, interesting to note a familial tendency to become implicated in tortuous out of wedlock relationships with royals or upper class intellectuals. But let us be blunt, Destiny arranged her meeting with Charles.

Their love was kept under wraps until the 1990s when the Camilla gate scandal reared its ugly head. In Diana’s controversial BBC interview, she inferred that Charles’ relationship with the “Rottweiler” had been going on from the time of their engagement. Many a courtier realised a desperate last encounter between Camilla and Charles had been arranged on the eve of that doomed royal marriage. Yet we forget that Charles and Camilla met years earlier at a polo match, when Camilla was a blue eyed stunner, with a passion for horses.  From our perspective, they are Twin Flames – souls united in one Spirit, with an inexplicable attraction harking back to past lives. Separated from each other, they would wither away, unable to contain the heartache. Yet together, the trauma their relationship caused would be earth shattering. The catastrophe that followed marked the Royal Family forever and even touched the integrity of the throne. But all was forgiven, as is frequent in the best of families.

On her marriage to Charles, Camilla was awarded the title of Princess of Wales, and presently carries out royal engagements of her own, but uses one of her other titles – Duchess of Cornwall (or Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland). To all intense and purposes she is rolling up her sleeves and “getting on with it!” Some sections of the British Public might have even taken to her, may be because”what you see is what you get” with Camilla, and notwithstanding the distress of Diana’s death and the shake up within the Royal Family, this lady continues to be fun! She could seem shallow, but the fact is she simply does not want to “delve into the deeper meaning of trauma”.  Laughing is on her list of things to do, as is enjoying financial security and having her basic physical comforts met. Turning a blind eye to other people’s foibles is a far easier system as far as she is concerned, as long as she gets what she wants, and nobody threatens her status quo. She loathes emotional outpourings and hysteria generally.

Her idealistic Jupiter in Scorpio would make her aware of a “great purpose” working through the tissue of her life, and yet it is not about the public’s judgement of her perceived betrayal of Diana, but about her own inner truth and nobility of purpose, about being loyal to those she loves above all.  Give Camilla her horse, and a merry gallop up the dales with Charles, and she will touch the best of times in the worst of times.  She is capable of joking about the misery of existence on Sunday, and ordering an exotic new hat on Monday. When the odd mini quake happens behind the palace walls, she will only speak her mind when she is ready; not when it is expected of her! She never understood why Diana made all that song and dance about things. It was embarrassing, it was demeaning. She seemed naïve, deranged almost.

Mr. Mars in Gemini would prefer her to nurture a more down to earth nature; it eases the future King of England’s heart, he can be himself with her, forget his tortured childhood and lonely adolescence.  A frightened little boy, an angry man, a hurting soul, Camilla will understand his moods with a laugh and a joke. She never mocks, she laughs with him. He does not feel emotional neediness on her part, not like he felt with Diana anyway, even though she is so sensitive with that Ms Venus in Cancer. She can be quiet at times too, borderline dreamy, staring into the distance, unable to put into words exactly what she feels. She lets her Charles do that for her, he does it better. Camilla never plays head games with anyone, Charles loves that about her. She is to the point, only easily wounded if he does not understand her good intentions. She will then withdraw into that sulky silence for a couple of days. It would have taken all that she could muster to overcome the public’s dislike of her, Charles knows that, appreciates that, the scorn of the press hit deep. The entire struggle to be together was so grueling to both of them, weighing on their souls and sometimes presses on the cracks in their relationship. Yet communion with dogs and horses will always help Camilla rediscover that solid inner stability again.

Charles loves her motherly attributes that wholesome attention of hers, focused on him. Again Ms. Venus in Cancer would make her a true giver, a motherly woman who adores her kids, happiest with her family around her.  Practical, hilarious, affectionate, sexy, .sporty, noblesse oblige, Camilla is the right woman for Charles. She might find it hard adjusting to a prying press, to a rigid hierarchal system, to the Royal Family’s quirks, but she will just get on her horse, and ride off into the hills again, the rain on her face, ready to buy a silly hat as soon as the mood takes her.. She will get over it, she will overcome, always.

Kind Jupiter in Scorpio would have gifted Camilla with awesome common sense, that aforementioned sense of “the fates” at play, and their mystifying greatness within all things. Well bred, yet not snobbish, patrician yet not condescending Camilla is a far, far better person than we will ever know!  For all their love, Charles and Camilla could be going through a crisis this year. The strain of past history has a hold on Camilla, she needs to feel free, not so tied up with court events, and royal needs.  She could be more nervous than usual, less able to deal with the challenges within their relationship.  A pet could die, or a person she knows could be no more, and to Camilla any loss would be devastating and unnerve her deeply. She needs to maintain that sense of universal love, her solid connection to nature, maturing within her soul, realizing something has just got to give, it might be certain aspects of her life, hopefully not her connection to Charles.  Whatever happens, there will be a way out. She will realise how hard it was for Diana at times even.  No matter how much life baffles her, Camilla will find her own way of moving through a series of inexplicable events, and losses this year, to become a richer and more fulfilled human being. We wish you well Camilla!

Lily Allen

lily-allenThe phrase “I look at the sun and I am a winner!” from her song “Fear” could be Lily Allen’s motto!  With so much controversy buzzing around her, most folks could think this young Taurean lass is a mix of “whiz kid”, and “mixed up kid!” But the fact is, she has some brilliant genes swimming around her cerebral matter she is the daughter of the gifted actor and musician Keith Allan, which other than the placement of her “stars” at birth, probably gave her a kick start. She grew up “street wise”.

When her parent’s marriage broke up she lived with her mother Alison Owen, the film producer, in Islington, a “working class” environment, she states! One could doubt that perception, she went to some of the best schools in the country, but hers is an “I aint no snob” attitude, and it drives her artistic talent. The considerable media hullabaloo buzzing around her persona basically cuts no ice with Lily; it is what she wants. You see this girl has an astute creative sense, and so much Libran moon shinning down on her, one could say she has an inborn nose for show biz, coupled with a balanced and determined will to achieve. Interestingly, with that brilliantly placed Mercury in Aries, she certainly does not lack for talent, or want to live a “Status Quo” existence; she decided to hang out in Ibiza for a while. She progressed on, inspiring, visioning, questing and creating a blog that drew alot of musical attention, eventually challenging her newfound public with a very singular talent. This girl is smart enough to know the occasional “storm in a teacup” will hit her public’s funny bone; she sees it as normal to make the odd controversial statement.

Some might say she has pushed the boat out too far, too frequently. Others might also say she is sporadically “under the influence”, or that her comments about her songster colleagues are beyond “impertinent”. Do not be fooled, she knows what she is doing.  This gal has resilience written into her genetic code, oodles of self confidence is the cream on her “life path” cake. Think of it this way, “Putting the proverbial cat amongst the pigeons” is part of her mission to encourage folks to rock and roll!  And make no mistake, that Mars in Gemini will make her feisty, especially reactive to those who pick bones over her talent. She retorts with “sharper than sharp” wit, garbed cracks to get the airways buzzing.  Her fans are sitting on the edge of their seats! Yet we expect her to be insolent! She has a right to be; after all she did her long divisions faster than most other kids on the block.

Again we wish to remind you that she is a stubborn Taurus, so it is obvious that nothing, we repeat no-thing, will shift that bee from inside her bonnet!  Luckily, a Libran moon walks hand in hand  with her down life’s high road, so it is unlikely she will overly upset the applecart, and she will never  go the long way around to get her career needs met. She has a creative hotline to a “rather stroppy muse”, this makes magic, manifests synchrony.  To Lily being in synchrony means being who she is 150 percent of the time.  She will not compromise, nope not for you or me, except if you are a beloved mate, and if you are one of those in trouble, she will be supportive and “there”, which puts pay to those consistent  “enfant terrible” rumors whirling around show biz circles.

The phrase “she is not all that she seems” is apt when it comes to Lily. She “seems” “rebellious” but she is quite sensible she “seems” controversial, she is a baseline 23-year old. The only thing she might worry about is money, but she is also a closet penny-pincher, so she will not throw it out of the window, at least not all of it at once!  Jupiter in Aquarius is what clinches Lily’s deal. It means she has a “broad sweep” perspective. She seeks to find ways and means of informing and challenging with a vision that does not fit into a main stream perception. She wants to grate with “stuck in the mud” analyses of reality, so prevalent when fear is the emotion driving people forwards. Sometimes her efforts might fall on rocky ground, but she is convinced, she is a Taurean after all!

This year, her Pluto placement, Pluto being the planet of “going deep” (not something our friend is averse to), encourages her to revamp her finances, decide how she is going to continue with her career style, focus on a new aspect of presenting herself to the public, or dig down into her deeper motivations and push to accomplish new goals.  She will get very clear indeed!  And we will be aware of her. She is unstoppable, unbeatable and incorrigible.  A real show biz brat for some, a real show biz talent for you and me!

Duffy

duffyA beautiful blonde with a voice that shakes one’s innards into fast spin, a true “singer of soul”, born under the sign of Cancer, Duffy could be compared to Dusty Springfield, or even Janis Joplin, her voice is so passionate, so full of feeling. This miraculous young Grammy Award Winner was not born in Mississippi, or Memphis either, her origins are far more down to earth. She grew up with her sisters in small town Wales. Her young life was helter skelter, her parents divorced, she was placed in care, there was alcoholism in the family, and as a teen she did not just smoke cigarettes. She loved to sing, yet she was asked to leave her school choir, her voice was too big, her soul too expansive. Yet such hurtful trials and tribulations touched her core, and made her the ardent vocalist she is today. Right from the start her Jupiter in Capricorn would have gifted her with that “shine like a diamond in the coal” vibe. She wanted to put the past right behind her. Rid herself of envious glances, and competitive friendships.

She knew she was far more than her personal history.  She stood out from the start, a natural glimmer around her, and a gift of communicating that hit the proverbial bull’s eye. She toured with local gigs and bands. She tried to make it big, but a shaky exploit in Switzerland got her nowhere fast. She cut her losses and worked as a waitress.  Never a girl to give up, her vibrant Mars in Scorpio gifts her with that innate capacity to keep going, to push for what she believes in, embellishing on her amazing talent, seeing it as a mission, rather than just a music career. She has since emblazoned a trail in the US, and is considered one of the most gifted young female vocalists of recent times. She has sold 5.5 million records worldwide. But back then, when fame was far more than a distant planet, she went for the jazz and blues jugular, and recorded her first mini album, of just three songs, in 2004.

Her break came when she was introduced to Jeannette Lee a music manager. Lee got Duffy to move to London, and arranged a meeting with Bernard Butler the ex Suede guitarist. Together they created a unique sound, one that has us riveted, and has made Duffy the phenomenal star she is today. More breakthroughs came naturally; she was contracted to A&M records in 2007. Her communication gifts are obvious.  That appealing vulnerability, those fragile Cancerian energies emanate a mixed quality to her sound. Contrary to the “tough chick” persona strutting around stage and screen, her veiled messages of love convince, her voice picks up the depths; with that phrasing, that sheer tonality, that harmony, all so in tune with her own Arian moon.  Her hit song Mercy is a result of that Arian moon spewing forth ideas till Duffy gets the song to sound how it is meant to.

Her moon will never shine softly on her artistic abilities; ever so often she will flare up with intensity, especially when it is full! She can seem ruthless; but you see she just has to get where she wants artistically. Something is burning within, pushing her to future heights and popularity. Sudden resentments can explode in the meantime though, especially against anything or anyone she perceives to be blocking her evolution, and that includes those who betrayed her, or let her down.  She will need to learn to keep tabs on “putting her foot in it”. Yet her heart is big. She would do anything for a friend, or lover, her Venus in Cancer will make her almost too warm hearted and giving. Her song “Stepping Stone” expresses that yearning for closeness, that understanding she can overreact, misinterpret another’s behavior; often expecting rejection she could create it. The Johnny Rotten incident is a case in point. Johnny heckled her, pinned her up against a wall. He reacted violently to her. His behaviour seemed inexplicable. She said it was her responsibility, but when she is hurt she will find it hard to forgive. She could be inconsolable wanting to know why things went so wrong, why she was so misunderstood, why she did not get an explanation. She will soon learn never to accept rude and aggressive behavior from others.

Some might say a sense of emotional loss comes through her voice, we can identify with those feelings, as they mirror our own, and we love her for it.  For all her apparent rebelliousness, her private dream could be to have an archetypal happy family, with Sunday lunches, and everyone gathered around a scrabble board.  True, she could find domestic bliss a challenge to manifest, especially since her baseline need is creative freedom, and an innovative life style. But she will understand her contradictions and work through some of her childhood issues over the next years; as a result she will find her soul mate just when she least expects it.  We forget she is so young, may be because her soul is ancient, and that emanates from her. But Duffy will make changes, the kind she needs to make to enrich her performance and bring her talents even more to the fore. Her friendly moon will lead the way, she will overcome her fears in its rays, those doubts, those moments of despair when she can never get it exactly how she wants it to be, not matter how admired she is, how gifted she is. She will give up on pessimism, and think positive we are certain. She will find her way of connecting to spirituality; it could only be her way, rather mysterious, sometimes hidden, a surprise to us all. But her new attitude will bring her even more luck, and enrich her life. Duffy, your news is good; you will make it through all your nights, and stand strong, a wonderful talent, and a vocal miracle!  We wish you luck.

Dolly Parton

Filed under Capricorn Celebs, Female Celebrities

dolly-partonDolly Parton is the queen of country music, right up there with Tammy Wynette and Loretta Lynn, her sweet voice quavering its way into our hearts and souls. Her oldie world style of presentation, does not detract from that vocal magic, she is one who can hit the high C’s without a worry on her face. A child warbler once, she is a legend in her own time now, an archetypal success story. This dirt poor Tennessee girl, with eleven brothers and sisters and three illegitimate siblings on her father’s side, was a peaches and cream girl next door, who met her boyfriend in the Laundromat when she was eighteen and married him at twenty.

She learnt to play piano, harp, banjo, guitar and penny whistle in the meantime.  She composed her first song at the age of four, some might say the words “child genius” could be applicable to her.  Her husband would not necessarily agree, he never cared about her massive success and musical talent.  He has rarely seen her perform and refers to her as “little lady”. So what is it about this petite buxom blonde that sets us all alight? Other than the fact that she is a Grammy award winning phenomena, a gifted actress, composer and philanthropist who has been entertaining us all for 44 years, nothing much.

Well surprise surprise, our Dolly is a hard headed Capricorn. Able to detach from the tumultuous tribulations of life tests, and keep going towards that winning post with a stamina that would make you and I reach for the crème de menthe. Time and time again her sentimental crooning, unfashionably voluptuous figure and quaint style have galvanised our attention. She would make Ms Chanel, the renowned Parisian fashion designer turn in her grave.  I mean those short skirts those tight sweaters. “One can never be thin or rich enough!” would  apply to Dolly if you scratched out the word “thin”, however there is a lot of “rich” to her. Her love songs have sold millions of copies worldwide, somehow she manages to hit the nail on the head when it comes to empathic vocal communication.

Some of her hits are; “9 to 5″ “Coat of Many Colours” “Jolene” “Just because I am a woman”, and more. Great vocalists such as Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris, and Olivia Newton John have covered her numbers with gusto.  She had two Oscar nominations for “Traveling through” and “Transamerica” as an actress too. Too much? Okay again, what gives with this cutie pie, this southern “butter would not melt in her mouth, belle of the ball”. Clearly she is one sharp lady with a fun, rather unrefined sense of humour. A pop phenomenon who during the eighties managed to get a number of her songs on “Top of the Pops.” She hit the jackpot singing duo with Kenny Rogers; their “Islands in the Stream” was number one in 1983 for two weeks. But how does she do that “so charming” bit, how does she look far less than her 63 years, Botox?
Well she is also very naturally cute but certainly “not the face that launched a thousand ships”. She is a fairly predictable heroine, being stalwart, talented and dignified. A true lady, there is nothing cheap about Dolly, the “cutie pie look” is just a cover up for an aristocratic soul and an evolved attitude to life overall. An attitude she covers up with screeches of laughter, and a very teasy attitude. Her Venus in Capricorn is unlikely to have her swinging from chandeliers for love either, more like warming hubby’s slippers by the fire for her. She will want to keep her huge hair in place, and she is not into romantic walks along a windy beach, she likes to look crisp, ordered, well turned out. She likes her high heels, her tight skirts and to stay in comfortable luxurious hotel suites with excellent room service.

Her Mercury in Capricorn makes her intelligent, yet rather insular when composing, playing piano and singing new compositions alone in her recording studio. She likes to do it “her way”. Keep the musical magic under her hat.  She will get up and go to bed at the same time. No all night raving for our Dolly, just some rather absurd OTT jokes that have some shocked and kept others delighted till bedtime. She will be inclined to worry staring up at the ceiling once she pulls the sheets around her, especially should a relative or friend become sick or a song not come out quite as in tune as she wanted it to be. Her North Node being in Gemini is the answer to the mystery of Dolly Parton. She will be multifarious, colourful, and light-hearted and can deliver that tinkle of a laugh echoing across stage and screen to cast a spell on us all. Yet she can sit by that fire stoking it for hubby, giving out pearls of wisdom and humane advice to passing friends, drunks, show biz bigs, anyone who happens to be passing.

She will also make pancakes, just in case you are hungry. Mars in Cancer will make her moody. Like who is that little lady with the beehive hairdo sitting at the breakfast table and screaming at you to pass the sugar? A minute ago she was a radiant, ice blonde angel without a hair out of place sipping her fruit juice. What happened? Yes Dolly is changeable, an unpredictable butterfly, even though she will look the same, sing the same, and enchant the same year in year out. But of course how can be it be otherwise? 25 hits. A singer, songwriter, even an actress staring in the The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas  for which she received a Golden Globe nomination, Rhinestone where she was paired with Sylvester Stallone, and the magnificent  Steel Magnolias.

There is something so special about this dame, something so intriguing. A sunny southern honey, capable of touching the stars, of being earmarked for great things, always unique, always shining that very special charisma. She is a constellation of talent, a bright and shining inspiration, and yet she makes us laugh, cry and yearn. This year Dolly will get one of her wishes fulfilled. It is a very private wish, a wish that will bring her great personal happiness. We look forwards to seeing her with a smile on her face as she picks up some more awards and has another couple of hits over the next two years. Nothing can stop her, she will continue to the end of her days, saying “Hello, I’m Dolly!” God bless you Ms Parton!

Debbie McGee

We are sure the lovely Debbie McGee would not be offended if you did a “Honey I shrunk the Kids” on her; she would be perfect as a glorious fairy queen on top of your Christmas tree. Absolutely magical in looks, with that silver light glimmering around her blonde hair, she would shimmer like the star she truly is. For the more ignorant of you, Debbie is the lovely wife of Paul Daniels the magician. Her relationship with Daniels started in 1979 after Mr Bernard Delfont found her a job as Paul’s magical assistant during his summer show at Great Yarmouth. After those predictable emotional “ups and downs”, they were married in Buckinghamshire in 1988. As exotic as she appears, this Scorpio blonde bombshell hails from your basic middle class background, her genes are Anglo/Irish. Her sister works for a bank, her brother is an accountant, and her parents ran a corner shop for years.

paul-daniels-and-debbie-mcgee

Her dance talent was not unexpected, she was always such a pretty honey, and loved to dress up as a child. Sensible mum enrolled her in a dance school, but winning a scholarship to the Royal Ballet must have taken the wind even out of her family’s sails. She subsequently joined the Iranian ballet, becoming successful as a soloist, yet had to cut and run when the Iranian revolution exploded on the international scene, and changed her world forever. She returned to the UK, virtually empty handed until those great organisational abilities of hers set up a series of fantastic summer shows for the Bernard Delfont Organisation. Destiny had wanted her to take another direction, and with four intense Scorpio placements in her chart, i.e. Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Neptune she has never been one to disobey the Fates!

The force of her personality has lead her down many a twisty road since then, synchronistic events could even have her fascinated by the “mysterious” and subjects like life after death. Yet when it comes to the “ups and downs” of spiritual evolution, she has more a “tomorrow is another day!” attitude. Mars in Taurus makes her a basic “feet on the ground” realist. She loves her jewellery, her pretty clothes and gorgeous home, her dog Houdini, such things necessary to a harmonious state of mind! However, long periods of creativity, followed by equally long periods of writer’s block, plus an inexplicable incapacity to express herself, can be frustrating to this lovely lady. Mrs Moon in Gemini is the culprit, that mind of hers goes hither and thither like a grass hopper, never totally relaxed and tuned into that colossal creative core in the very centre of her being. Mr. Mercury in Scorpio will compensate, picking her up yet again, stimulating her thinking processes till they are as clear as crystal. Her capacity to analyse a problem is astounding.

She has borderline telepathic abilities; see her make mince meat of another’s problem! But ask her to work out her own issues, and she reaches for the mineral water. She will not spare anyone once she has worked you out. If you are good she will lavish you with praise, if you are bad she will tell you in no uncertain terms! Even the powerful Mr Daniels is riveted to his seat by her insights, yet she is a rock to him, helping him, if he lets her, reading him, and most people, like a book, and if she can’t it will be “all systems go” until she can. Sexy, magnetic, seductive, complex, wanting things to go her way, grist for Mr Daniel’s mill, we are still awaiting full disclosure when she publishes that famous book she has been writing for years. No matter the gossip around some of her business ventures, such as the model agency setback, her chart shows she was in good faith.

That aforementioned Jupiter in Scorpio will have had her working hard to achieve, and taking a “business is business” approach.  Sentimentality is not her thing when it comes to commerce!   Anyway, she will know how to invest her money and get the best deal; in fact she will not allow herself to be manipulated by anyone! If she listens to the positive urgings of Saturn in Saggy she will follow her dreams, her inspirations, her creative impulses, and never let anyone pull her down. If she heeds Mr Saturn’s nagging voice, she will be glum, rather pessimistic, and want to hide away and cuddle her dog. But let us assure you, this lady is one great chick. Her Uranus in Leo makes her a one off, a myth in her own time, with a “never say die” spirit. Nothing can pull her down, for she will always bounce back like rubber ball, resilient, optimistic, and full of new ideas. Wherever she goes she will try to create her own mini family with her staff, with her friends, her hubby and dog Houdini. She needs that security, for at times a curtain must be drawn across the pain of life, and only a strong core of true, blue friends can help her do just that.  Even if a cold reality will strike her on occasions, if she develops her more soulful gifts, she will find comfort as the years ensue. She is living through a noteworthy period of life.

There are some changes coming, changes that she has wanted for some time. Slowly, patiently she has been taking small steps to achieve a new style, a new way of being. She is ready to write a new chapter of her book, the last one, and we sense if she gets it published it will be a huge success. In fact she could find out why she has incarnated on this planet at last. Bless you Debbie, you are noteworthy talent, and we cannot wait to see your next trick!

Whoopi Goldberg

Caryn Elaine Johnson, alias Whoopi, winner of an Emmy, an Oscar and a Grammy once announced with that gravelly voice of hers, “What I am is a humanist before anything else, before I am a Jew, before I am black, before I am a woman. And my beliefs are for the human race, they don’t exclude anyone!” whoopie-goldbergWhoopi Goldberg, stand up comedienne, talented comedy actress, one of the most crucial African American women in show biz, has pulled herself up from an emotionally taxing, and challenging past – she became addicted to heroin and married her drug counselor. This extreme play out of a remarkable life so early, could be laid at the door of both her sun and moon in one of the most intriguing and passionate signs of the zodiac, Scorpio. And to think she is one of only seven African-American actresses to receive a Best Actress Oscar nomination makes us realise there is a unique driving force moving her forwards, and healing her life.

That awesome energy makes her unafraid of being totally herself. Always an intrepid attitude towards making good, she worked the most humble of jobs. She was a brick layer, and cleaned up in a funeral parlor, mainly to fill in between acting jobs. Certainly, her creative thumbprint eventually touches everything. Her smash hits include Sister Act, The Color Purple and Jumping Jack Flash. Her talent is baseline inimitable, and this makes her an influential force in Hollywood, and on the small screen. She has appeared in “Absolutely Fabulous” as a marriage broker! And by the way, also known for her “on set” reactions, she defended Christian’s Bales well publicised blow up on his latest film set. Whoopi said: “We don’t know how many hours he has been working and its tough. I mean I know it sounds ridiculous but I too have gone off on people because if you’re a professional you know what you’re not supposed to do. It is your art form.”

Of course such a radical perception of her art is, again, to do with her Moon in Scorpio. It makes her extreme.  Big sadness, big joy, big love, big pain, big everything.   If she likes ya, she likes ya, if she hates ya she hates ya, Whoopi is not going to be “diplomatic” unless her fans necessitate it. Her Mars in Libra assures us that when she lets rip, usually she does it in as logical a way as possible. She is too intelligent to overly exposed OTT emotions other than “behind the scenes”.  The cosmic love of her fans drives her to compromise her temper on stage and screen. She is prepared to go to ridiculous degree of performing excess to earn their adoration. Remember her as one of the first and only women comediennes who was allowed to host the Academy Awards? And she did it with that eccentric bird outfit on too. So funny it was hard to concentrate on the ceremony itself. In fact, her costumes often have us rolling in the aisles.

Who can ever forget her in a nun’s habit in Sister Act, or that wacky satin, puce ensemble in “Ghost”?  Mr. Mercury plays her up in Scorpio, but he feels good there too, surprisingly. Mr. Mercury assures us she is the funny, creative, focused, comedic, chatty Whoopi we know and love. He helps her deliver a punch line with aplomb, in other words Mercury saves her comedic day. He relieves the intensity of her more complex emotions, helps her see the absurdities, and comment on them with entertaining insights. She has intuitive perceptions, her jokes, and probably the book she wrote – entitled, by the way, The Book -  were channeled from some yet to be discovered place inside Whoopi’s soul!

The Goddess Venus, in Saggy, would see to it that she is positively charming, a joy to be with. She will keep us up late with her hilarious diatribes about the “meaning of existence”, and we would sip wine with her and talk about a free-spirit’s perceptions of reality too. Whoopi is essentially a free spirit, someone who does not fit “in the box”. She is not beautiful, she is not gracious, she is not always in a good temper either, but she mesmerizes us nonetheless, and has us reaching for our kerchiefs, when tears of laughter stream down our faces. We are not surprised to learn that when she falls in love she does not want a “traditional” relationship. She wants to be swept up in some big guy’s arms and taken to the pyramids, perhaps sit on top of them giggling. She wants a man to be imaginative, and if he bores her she dumps him. Her past loves included Frank Langella and Ted Danson. Jupiter in Leo, is her Guardian Angel though, it makes her bighearted, liberal and kind. Born on the 13th her birthday number means “transcendence”.  In fact it has to be said Whoopi has indeed “transcended” her past addictions and is now playing a winner’s game.

With her true node in Sagittarius, she has overcome her lack of faith, and expands her visions to take in a more spiritualised vision of life. The more she becomes involved with the metaphysical, and opens her heart to higher truths, the more happiness will fulfill her. Her spiritual nature will always guide her on and up, and help her make the most of her awesome talents. Whoopi can expect some really exciting news of entertaining projects over the next couple of years. But the expression of them will be helped, again, by that dedication to a higher path, and within that an embellishment on her already hilarious delivery. Certainly creativity and self expression will move her on to the second stage of her showbiz career, a stage that will lead her to transform, and to becoming the very best that she can be. Keep on going Whoopi, and never forget to make us laugh!

Paris Hilton

Well folks, it might be hard to believe that the Aquarian socialite, off tune singer, part time movie actress, self proclaimed iconic blonde, the babe with her tiny forefinger in every pie is far more than a “fly by night”. Paris Hilton of “Who kidnapped my doggie Tinkerbell” fame, is indeed a daddy’s girl, and a nice person, yes a nice person. She will inherit the Hotel Hilton Chain and as you will know is a millionaire. Her super sonic Norwegian, Irish, Italian genes make us forgive her tendency to self preen, even her addiction to go excessively public.

paris-hilton-dietWe can handle her infatuation with fame even, which probably started from an early age. Yet we find it hard to believe that daddy could have kept his temper for all that long. He obviously turned a blind eye to little Paris running through the corridors of immense palaces chased by her three irate siblings and a couple of snappy Lakeland terriers, blonde curls streaming behind her; very far from your average little girl in lace up shoes. But let us be fair, she is not that much of a brat considering her entourage of carers, body guards, cooks, masseurs, etc, who simply love her. What makes her nice? Well, for a start she did win Harvard Lampoon’s first ever Woman of the Year Award, she also served 45 days in jail for probation violations which served to strengthen her character.

Another important fact about nice people like Paris is that they are usually Aquarians and they are everybody’s friend. They have a tendency to look at silver linings behind every cloud, and would walk to the ends of the earth to sign an autograph, or roll in the mud with Nicole Ritchie. In fact people from all walks of life are their mates, including farm hands. Paris Hilton’s highbrow TV show The Simple Life overflowed with such buddies, but that only goes to show that she will always be the centre of someone’s loving attention. Paris has the moon in Leo, you see which is where we get seriously nice.

Leo moon has surprisingly high ideals and her main focus therefore is how to present them. She likes clothes, makeup, hair extensions, nail extensions, eyelash extensions, breast augmentations, Jimmy Choo shoes, etc. She will be prone to interesting tantrums and will calm down when you show her something beautiful, she loves art. But joking aside, we insist Paris Hilton is kind even though her Piscean Mars will make her prone to hiding that fact. She can fall off a cliff into very intense alone times when she wants to block out prying eyes, make sure that nobody would guess a pretty girl like her has another world throbbing inside her heart, her world, which few people ever get to know. She is somewhat of a gentle soul, gentle, and charitable. She follows her instincts and never expects the worst; ever.

Her Venus in Aquarius would make her the mermaid, the fairy, the princess in a castle, the archetypal glamour puss. She has to be free and if a guy gets possessive, she will be running down that palace corridor with her blonde mainstreaming down her back, just as she did when she was a little girl. But when she does fall in love, her Mars in Pisces will make her tender and caring. She will not be searching for her twin flame all her life, she will find him. Perhaps she thought she had found him in the form of fashion model Jason Shaw, singer Nick Carter, Greek shipping heir Stavros Niarchos. But the fact is they vaporised right in front of her. Her boyfriends probably thought her cold, so aloof they felt excluded, especially when a heart felt declaration was blocked out by her rather prim response, but that is just her way.

A detached perception give her that cool head for business, Paris can see an opportunity in a flash. She has a Japanese purse label, a jewellery line for Amazon.com, her own swimwear, her own fragrance and her own record label. But the truly interesting fact could be that sooner or later we will be even more surprised by this golden girl! She will throw in the towel, believe us, find her twin flame at last, and he could be a missionary, or a renaissance man. They could ride of into the twilight together too. Perhaps build a new age healing centre.

Jupiter in Libra would encourage such events. The fact is as Paris’ time on this planet evolves we will have to pinch ourselves to make sure she has not take over our souls. Believe us, Paris is nice, totally herself, totally ruthless in her dedication to living and so unafraid of saying, doing and being outrageous. So fasten your safety belt as you watch this outrageous heroine, the gorgeous blonde we would all like to have sign our autograph book make the outrageous happen again! This year Paris could find the love of her life, that twin flame we referred to earlier on. There is a love affair coming up for her, in any event, a very unusual, deep, past life, soul mate connection. A love affair that will be big time! Could he be the missionary? Watch this space!

Elizabeth Banks

Filed under Aquarian Celebs, Female Celebrities

elizabeth-banksThat song “She must have been a beautiful baby, she must have been a beautiful child!” describes Elizabeth Banks to a tee! She is kind, very cute and friendly due to that soft moon in Libra; we will talk about her Aquarian sun sign’s dreams for the betterment of humanity further down the page. She is naturally reasonable, unbiased, and sensible. One can count on Elizabeth. So what gives? Can somebody really be so stable in a show biz environment where bitchiness and rampant competition is part of the deal? The average babe certainly needs “tough cookie” tendencies to get ahead in Hollywood. So how come this comparatively fresh faced actress manages to make such an impression? Well, people love her, plain and simple, she has this capacity to charm; her sane ways are refreshing in an environment full of starlets clambering over each other to get their slice of the cake. She does not brag, or “blah”, she holds her tongue and gets on with it. Her roles which included the horror “The Uninvited” thrill the public’s imagination, and one senses she will continue to buzz in the show biz stratosphere for a while to come.

The fact is a well-placed Jupiter helps, Jupiter being the planet of luck and abundance!  She has landed some unusual parts in the process of artistic maturation too, including ongoing appearances in Scrubs for 13 episodes as Dr Kim Briggs, a harrowing episode of the Law and Order Special Victims Unit, and Spiderman II; whatever she does her performances are magnetic and the impression long lasting. That idealistic “I am everyone’s friend” water carrier charisma pervades all around her, it makes us want to know more. Mercury in Pisces gifts her a humorous take on life; she is a David Letterman fan, David Letterman of “Late Night” fame. He makes her scream with laughter and anyone who does this is her buddy for life.

A sense of the ridiculous espouses her broad-minded views. She does not hold back saying what she thinks when it comes to the ills of humanity. She is not fragile, is unafraid of decision-making, refuses to get stuck into small print and vibrates with natural humility due to that soft Piscean moon. She will steer her way through obstacle races that would make a marine reach for his mineral water too. Add to that her “almost too good to be true” Venus in Capricorn makes sure she is sensible when it comes to friendship, downright prudent when it comes to love. She wants levelheaded, judicious people around her, not flakes! She likes a man who has a firm grip. She is said to have changed her religion when she married, so once she loves you it is for life eternal with no compromising. She will not throw a temper fit unless severely pushed, but she will get disheartened. At those times she goes within, ready to meet challenging moments alone, moments that leave her feeling “there is no point” to anything much. She always comes out of the melancholy that guides her to “comprehending” the bleaker aspects of life with more energy. We sense angels are very close to her at those times.

The good news is that her bright Jupiter in Aquarius will press her “eastern philosophies button”, she will have a tendency to see humanities’ greater purpose, above and beyond the nastiness. She has faith, she realises we must brave the elements, defy narrow mindedness and oppose what is bad. She might have contact with alternative healers, new age gurus, UFOS or just meditate. That strong Aquarian influence will enable her to detach from difficult, even sinister roles that are so contrary to her true nature. Nothing can dim her light because Mr Mercury in Pisces will click his winged slippers and uplift her giving her a capacity to “mix and match” emotions and moods and sense the complexities of human feeling.

This year will see her paying a lot of attention to her relationship; she will be making life good, putting energy into closeness and clarity with her husband. She will still concentrate on her career, perfecting her craft and making things work. A Destiny-ordained role will slip into her hands at some stage soon, and it will be just right for her, she will shine in it.   Elizabeth ‘s films will still remain on our list of beautiful things to see, mainly because of her talent and complexity as an actor! She is certainly a lady to watch!

Helena Bonham-Carter

helena-bonham-carterHelena Bonham-Carter’s life is like her hit film, “Room with a View”, an expansive vision, not just over Florence, but the length and breadth of her destiny! Sun in Gemini is stimulating enough, but Moon in Leo is a magical Fairy Godmother waving her wand and gifting baby Helena with charm, a bright mind and social status – she is the granddaughter of the late Prime Minister Asquith and the cousin of Baroness Jane Bonham-Carter. Her early fame was wonderful but it could have brought one small glitch, Helena likes to sink back into the sofa rather than skip about! She likes to encapsulate varied ways of being, and has to ponder on those ways in peace. If she is pushed she digs her heels in. Sometimes these thoughtful “musings” clashed with the demands of her “out there”, young actress lifestyle, oh so Gemini!

The fact is her Edwardian good looks could have made her a Punch Magazine cover girl, long dark curls, romantic eyes, that oldie worldy sensuality, type casting her in many a melodramatic, chintzy role. But she is a modern gal, and the fact we admired her small waist, her posh accent, and those flirty old fashioned characterisations got on her nerves!  She once protested, “I hate this image of me as a prim Edwardian, I want to shock everyone!” So be warned, do not try to put Helena into a box, romantically, emotionally or career wise. She married Mr Burton, her true Twin Flame after all, and he is the epitome of genial originality,  “Edward Scissor Hands”, ”Beetlejuice”, “Sleepy Hollow”. The only contradiction to her rather “on edge” taste in lifestyle and love partner is that domesticated Jupiter in Cancer, it makes her yearn for the smell of banana cake, and a welcoming environment for friends to lounge around in and discuss Tim’s ideas.

Mars in Taurus would make her look up to his genius, express his same visions, the same artistic revelations   They will probably choose to live in some manor house as they both grow older, a country spread, with horses grazing in the fields, her horses. For now London or Los Angeles would do Helena fine, cities stimulate her mind, she was born and bred in London, and like any Londoner, narrow mindedness is not her thing, intellectual stimulation to stay sane is. Her Venus in Aries has a tendency to say “I know what is best for me” and it could have tripped her up in her younger years when certain romantic situations became “suffocating”. She can be prone to mental sparring, a bit of that old torment can bring up doubts about her value, her talent, her looks. But let’s face it, the up sides of being Helena are far too many to mention, one of them is her capacity to make her home lovely with stylish furnishings and an atmosphere that would put any Feng Shui expert to shame!

Interesting to note Helena could have deep empathy for the suffering, that Saturn in Cancer might make her want to reach out to those less fortunate, or at least to understand them. But she is no goody two shoes, she would prefer to play a background role, never blowing her own trumpet. She hates sentimentality, in that sense she is very British. Nor is she particularly self obsessed, but rather ready to “get on with it!” when necessary.   She would never cry “Tally Ho the Hounds!” either, but there is an emblematic, upper middle class feel to her, which does exclude “touchy feely”. Make no mistake, her delicate forefinger is most certainly on the pulse, and it will continue to be on that pulse over the next couple of years. There are new projects in the offing, she will focus her concentration on a symbolic vision with her husband Tim, and it will take all her imagination and creative capacity to bring into being. The fact is we will be intrigued by that Bonham-Carter magic for many years to come, no doubt of that!

Sarah Ferguson (Fergie)

sarah-duchess-of-yorkSarah (Fergie) Ferguson was nearly killed on the 11 September 2001; she was due for an appointment at the World Trade Centre, when one of the planes hit it full on. She was pushed back into the car by her worried aides and driven away at top speed. Some might say this lady was born lucky; true she has always landed on her feet! She once said, “Humility is understanding that the obstacles on your life path are not just going to go away!” Born on the 15th October 1959, daughter of Major Ronald Ferguson, Tudor genes in her veins, descended from William the Conqueror and Charles II, baby Sarah was destined for a prosperous upper class lifestyle.

Jolly, pretty with red curls, easy going ways and an addictive personality, this county girl galloped across the fields of her father’s estate on her beloved horses, with the wind in her hair. Yet there was something a touch too wild about her, she was a joke and a giggle, yes, ceaseless fun, but also some skew whiff gene called “Insecurity” caused her far too many problems. Even if she was a party girl, she also had a closet drug addiction, and drank and ate far too much.

She met Andrew, Duke of York at a house party at Windsor Castle in 1985, and the fates took a hand in her life at breakneck speed from then on! A Libra gal split to her core, bubbly, friendly and gregarious on the one hand, depressive, compulsive, tactless and aggressive on the other, it is evident her parent’s divorce, and her mother’s subsequent escape to Argentina influenced her more than she ever cared to admit. Devastating feelings of rejection surfaced, and when she was nicknamed “the Duchess of Pork”, she started to fall apart. The slurs were too much for her fragile ego. A cruel media criticized her for her weight, her fashion sense, and finding herself in the middle of a hornets’ nest, desperate about life as a young Royal, it was all she could do to stay sane!

Andrew was often away and she could not deal with all of that mind numbing palace protocol. She was young, inexperienced and felt everyone was out to get her. She stated in her autobiography that the Palace “Grey Men” were hell bent on destroying her. The marriage fell apart of course, and with the press at her heels, virtually excommunicated from the Royal Family, Sarah found herself in deep debt due to compulsive spending. Yet that benevolent Leo influence so prevalent in her chart helped a miracle save the day! She pulled back from the brink and after many trials and tribulations, went on to be a representative for Weight Watchers, and a talk show hostess in the States. She is currently an inspiring mother to her daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. That noble heart of hers kicked right back in, you see, and enabled her to heal her life.

She knows she will always have to be careful of that wilder nature of hers, she realises it could push her to the brink and that if she does not channel her energies wisely she could even fall apart. She knows addictive compulsive disorders never really, ever go away. She has worked hard to keep things under control though, founding Children in Crisis, The Sarah Ferguson Foundation and becoming a spokesperson for Mental Disability Rights International and more. She never married again and is still close to Prince Andrew, adored by her daughters for her positive attitude to life’s challenges. It has to be said, Mr. Mercury in Scorpio is a true Godsend to Fergie.

Our friend Mercury makes her super sensitive, with a talent for psychic perceptions. He helps her speak her mind, seeing through anyone with her newly inbuilt BS detector. Nowadays she trusts her gut feelings, she works hard, pushes for results, and dots her I’s. Her Venus in Virgo will make her a nice person, sweet and kind, there for those who are unwell, ready to help out a friend! She tries to bring joy to lives. She has let go of a series of romantic mistakes too, including a couple of past rather eccentric affairs with an Italian aristocratic and a toe-licking Yank. She has subsequently moved on from the chaos, she wants to give time and energy to those who suffer.

Anyway, she has learnt to control her bluntness, to be considerate even when she feels exhausted. Mars in Libra makes sure she explains ideas clearly, is careful people do not confuse her or bamboozle her with meaningless words. She still needs to keep tabs on extravagant tendencies, make sure she is not giving flatterers any space or acting out socially with a false sense of aggrandizement. Her north node in Libra will help her win through all odds, stand up to those inner monsters and dragons and any nasty people out to make her life a misery. Over the coming two years her friends and family will show beautiful and true colours, she will feel secure and loved and there is a lovely healing relationship in her life, or about to come into it. Emotional blessings are on their way, and amidst the worldwide chaos she will develop a deeper sense of who she is in the “greater scheme of things”.

Of course, some sacrifices might still have to be made, but she will acquire a sense of the spirituality of life in the process and communicate that feeling to those she loves. Any glitches will be temporary; Sarah should be well ensconced in a loving relationship, enjoying her life full on by the end of this year. She will become aware of all that she has confronted, and pat herself on the back for overcoming virtually insurmountable odds. Sarah is basically a sweetheart, a nice girl, someone who suffered and felt unloved. For that reason she can empathise so easily with others. Her life will continue to be richly lived, she will manage to keep a tab on her “issues”, and she will expand as a soul and as an individual over the next two to three years. God bless you Fergie, you have a lot to look forward to!

Isla Fisher

isla-fisherIsla Fisher, with her beautiful red hair, porcelain white skin, and delicate frame, could be a mini Rita Hayworth, with that fifties pin up energy vibrating all around her. She could also be compared to a flower fairy even though she might deny this through her teeth. One would expect to see her seated in the centre of a pink rose, emanating bubbles of light! To be sure she is a refined Aquarian whose moon in Pisces makes her ultra sensitive to all things delicate, to all things symmetrical.

She is one who believes in the goodness of humanity!  Her childhood had some difficult moments, the move to Australia could have been one of them.  So she knows about challenge. Do not let her funny film roles in “Scooby Doo” and “Wedding Crashers” fool you either. She is indeed a serious person, prepared to work hard for achievement. Even though her choice of companion, the singularly hilarious Mr. Sacha Baron Cohen, can be a barrel of laughs, Venus in Capricorn makes her a devoted partner dedicated to Sacha’s well being with facets of devotion and adoration to boot. Be that as it may she can scream with rip-roaring hilarity at Sacha’s frolics, or a silly joke between friends but Saturn in Cancer has taught her not to expose her hilarity or sensitivity to those who do not understand it!

Isla’s inborn good sense was born of Scottish parents in Oman.  She loves the perfume of heather on the moors as much as the sight of the dry desert reaches of Oman, they inspire her inner world. Beauty of any kind sends thrills through her minute frame, Mother Nature’s expanded vistas comfort her soul. She has learnt to be strong and grounded, creating a solid reality both personally and professionally yet she still inspires herself with the aforementioned sense of the ridiculous. So where does Isla’s Neptune in Sagittarius come in then?  That particular planetary combination that has pulled Isla away from Australian soaps such as Home and Away, into the big time. Well, it has encouraged her to fan the flames of her talent, and stand firm in her ambitions. She currently has a capacity to move forwards unobstructed, dodging the more competitive outlets of show biz with balance and charm! Even though her beginnings were creatively modest her comedic interpretations have become popular with a worldwide audience now.

She is no longer afraid to use mainstream media even though she is no mainstream chick. Her intuition is far too tuned into the infinite! So even though she expounds practicality and good sense, deep down she is still a flower fairy, creating joy with a wave of her magic wand.  When it comes to pure astrological facts, Isla’s Jupiter in Aries is the planet that clinches the deal. That placement gives Isla the opportunities, the openings, and a creative web of lucky break after lucky break! But there is another element, the Planet of Surprise, Uranus. Uranus has given her that devastating magnetism, the capacity to enchant an audience, or an individual “across a crowded room”.  Isla will always be a high profile contributor to art and life. Some might say childhood’s “ups and downs” were the springboard that enabled her to empathise with human emotion so well, to integrate more sensitivity into her performances.  Yet, if you were to scratch below the surface you might also find a lost love somewhere in Isla’s background, a sentiment that moulded her deep within.

She is such a brilliant individual, however, she will never let anything “negative” really pull her down, she will simply translate it into gusty emotional know how. Isla will be working hard on various fronts this year. She could be involved in a mission that has to do with the preservation of this planet. She is determined to go on giving, giving, giving and that is her underlying theme. Her favourite song could be “Imagine” even though she would not classify herself as an idealist. Yes, Isla is combination of fifties beauty and intrepid fairy who expands her inner universe outwards and enchants the world in a continuum of laughter, enthusiasm and sheer talent!  There are no confines to Isla’s expression, not for a long time to come anyway!

Dakota Fanning

March 23, 2009 by admin
Filed under Female Celebrities, Pisces Celebs

dakota-fanningChild genius, acting phenomenon, magical, gifted, all these attributes describe the wonder that is Dakota Fanning.  With sun in Pisces and moon in Cancer she is the epitome of genial sensitivity, the banner waver for a child star.  Mars in Aquarius assures us she knows what she wants and nearly always gets it! Therefore, not a normal little girl from Georgia for sure. Certainly not a cheerleader, far too subtle a personality and inspiringly elegant for one so young.  Ever see her performance in War of the Worlds? She seemed to be channelling her histrionics because the role fell around her so perfectly and we all identified with that neurotic teenage kid, overcome by her parents’ divorce. Terrified to death by the invading Martians, she waded her nervous way through continual tragedy, but in real life this little girl is not so flaky.

So what makes her able to perform maturely then? What makes her unusual demeanour fill us with primal protective instincts? Well, Scorpio in Pluto could be the “mover and shaker” in this astrological scenario. This child carries that inner pressure, part of Scorpionic spiritual knowing, a gift of identification and projection into any role. Scorpio pushes her where “angels fear to tread”, so not surprisingly she might have temporary feelings of insecurity, followed by bursts of creativity, borderline angst and a clear need to “express ” to keep her mind calm.  She is one of a kind, being so unnervingly wise.

Mercury in Aquarius enables her to go optimistically into a challenging role, to remember her lines, to remain balanced as she mixes and matches the duality of profound Scorpionic feeling and then switches into a bright eyed Mercurial actress, punctual on set, clear in communication and a delight to be with. Dakota’s talent is her watchfulness, she can imitate emotions, as she takes stock of those around her. This is her geniality. As a little girl her imagination would carry her off to other climes but deep down, she knew that this capacity would disengage her from her craft, so she concentrated on mixing the two, fantasy and reality and created an exceptional linguistic capacity to express emotions and analyse feeling. This child has a capacity for hard work, Jupiter in Scorpio allows her not to just to touch the surface of her craft, but delve underneath it. She will research her role, explore each facet of it. Combine the reality of this, with an inbred capacity to express emotion and we have a gifted time bomb of an actress, fame ready to explode in our faces as she grows into a beautiful young woman.

She is compelling; she does not pressure us with one performance after another because as a child star she needs to finish her studies, to hang out with her friends, to have fun shopping down the Mall. If you asked Dakota why she loves acting she would answer she wants to help people understand. Perhaps she does not know what she wants them to understand, yet, but she certainly feels she is on a mission. Saturn in Pisces is inspiring her to lurch forward, will lead her to analyse the tragic complexities of the world and she will want to do something about them. I would not be surprised if she has some private charity, or project she is contributing to already!

Dakota loves her things; she probably collects jewellery, dolls or dresses. She probably keeps a scrapbook, or a box with pictures of the places she has visited, she is a memento type of girl! But this need to remember events ties in with her need to understand human behaviour, this is the side that makes her such a stunning actress for one so young. During the rest of this year not only is it probable that Dakota could have an immense crush on someone special, but it shows her working steadily towards her aims and winning through insecurities, or an immediate lack of the right acting project.

Something is due to come up for Dakota and July 2009 is showing up as a time for a lucrative film contract and career expansion. So watch this space, the “Dakota space” because there is something intriguing happening to this gifted young actress. She is a bright spark of talent, and we will all be watching her evolution as a star over the next three to four years. God bless you Dakota! And watch out for September when Jupiter the planet of bounty will be your friend, and you will not only find yourself with an intriguing role but could meet an exceptional person who will help you find a way to understanding human nature even more, perhaps a new acting coach, or inspiring mentor. The way will open out even more for Dakota, that is for sure, and she will surely shine very brightly in the future!!

Angelina Jolie

angelina-jolieNobody would dare call Angelina Jolie schizoid, a far too exaggerated term.  But with Sun in Gemini and moon in Aries, she has more than two precise personalities; in fact her infinite capacity to express the multi dimensional is no secret. She can show off her tattoos with pride, carry a phial of her lover’s blood around her neck, dress to kill on the red carpet, turn into a vampire over night yet she is a miracle worker. She was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of actor Jon Voight and a sweet, adoring French mother. Right from the start she was a special, cosmopolitan child who drew admiring glances and coos of intimidated appreciation on the film sets of Hollywood.

Outwardly she seemed pretty easy to understand then, you know pretty sweet, pretty simple but inside her soul was building up momentum. Neptune in Sagittarius pushed her to transform beyond the pain of the breakdown of her parents’ marriage, into an avenging angel, a go getting chick with a unique philosophy of life. Angelina’s “all or nothing” take is nothing less than universal justice, children’s rights, and an end to suffering on this planet. Anyone who meets her is bowled over by her beauty, extreme individualism, deeply feeling nature, warm energy, sharp mind and all these goodies are balanced across a high wire. Angelina will not fall into that void below, She loves the human race, and is ready to make radical choices to prove it.

She empathises deeply with suffering, Venus in Cancer reflects this. One of her more surprising dimensions is her capacity to be an extremely sensitive mother, partner and wife, with a desire to merge within a tightly knit, happy family to feel easy. She wants to heal her loved ones, just as she would have liked to have been healed when her parents’ marriage collapsed, and she found it hard to shut out the pain.  She has become a doting mother, Venus in Cancer. Her professional versatility however is shown in the complexities of her starring roles, roles where she unleashes that multi dimensionality and then returns home to her babies. Even though she will accept violent roles on the film set, as we have seen in Lara Croft, she rejects its worldwide reality with visceral disgust. For her violence can only be a cartoon, nothing real that includes her truth.  This goes to show how she can remove herself from a role to make it happen for her audience.

She will learn any marshal art technique quickly and jump to attention at the crucial moment on a set piece. Her physical stamina is exceptional. Yet one would not be blamed for having a vision of Angelina as an archetypical angel as well as a leather clad warrior. She was a UN ambassador of peace, but beware, do not cross Angelina, her sense of cosmic justice is acute.  She will wait, like the proverbial Chinese proverb, on the edge of the river until your corpse comes floating by, hence her breakdown in communication with her father for so many years. Most of Angelina’s love relationships have been destined, her love for Brad is written in the stars with a touch of “we have known each other forever”. Angelina is still looking to fulfil her mission, Pluto in Libra pushes her forward with passion, and every day she is finding more of her destiny to work on. She knows she has come to this planet to fight injustice and to convince people that a new model of existence is possible.

Her astronomical salary helps her to contribute to many humanitarian projects with her husband Brad. She also uses her role as a beautiful actress, to publicise the pain in the world and is not afraid to accept unpleasant conditions during her peace missions around the world.  Angelina Jolie is a one off star of the firmament, a challenge to herself, yet a deeply sweet woman with a golden heart. More than an actress she is an ambassador of new style thinking. The only strident cord could be her beauty, for she could draw to her a secret friendship, someone who will make her yearn for even more than what she has.

Make no mistake Angelina is on the move, and we can be sure of one thing, she will constantly surprise us. The planet Neptune and the shaky state of the world could attract her to mystical pursuits and also interests she has not examined in detail as yet. So Angelina fans be prepared for some exciting news, this lady is not for burning. Angelina is a magical, astute, human being and a constant source of fascinating interest to us all!

Kate Winslett

Kate Winslett, could it be said that this gutsy thespian beauty was born with a Silver spoon in her mouth? Certainly nobody would have thought she was destined for Hollywood greatness when she was a rather bulky London schoolgirl, with a mean sense of humour. But Kate’s Libran Sun Sign not only makes her an incredibly nice person with an astonishing gift, it makes her a woman who seeks both justice for her characters and balance in every day life.

An intuitive moon in Libra adds to her highly sensitive portrayals, yet Kate is tough, she would virtually walk to the end of the earth to comprehend her character’s point of view. She makes it her job to understand the “down trodden housewife”, the “spiritual girl seeking enlightenment”, the “teenage matricide”etc. Hard driven talent is her life’s mission. Family genes help, her dad was an actor, but certainly the Divine smiles down on her too. She will always have break after lucky break, win prize after splendid prize, be nominated for her superb performances, Oscar included, is our prediction! She will never, ever wait for the phone to ring. She will continue to be sought out by every sentient director in Hollywood, for she strikes deep into a role. Who could forget that heart-wrenching scene in Titanic? Even if she was floating in a tank, pretending to mourn frozen Leonardo di Caprio, her performance struck a cord with every audience from New York to New Delhi? Traumatic interpretations do not wobble her inner harmony.

Her sun and moon placements justify her capacity to balance out the intense emotionality she interprets on set, this is due to a grounded family background and happy marriage. Peace on the domestic scene gives her the space to go deep into a character and at the end of the day crack a joke. Her marriage to the gifted and sensitive director Sam Mendes is a perfect match. They are active parents, she is a doting mum (she would never leave her children for more than a week) she once confessed.  The fact is she shares Sam’s need to define the human condition. She has now become his muse, able to mime his inner world, and bring it to life on screen. So, she is more than “Our Kate” the easy going, rather plump girl next door. She is a refined actress who seeks performance perfection when faced with the most arduous roles. A pristine interpretation is her point of focus, resulting in deeply moving portrayals. She gazes into the hearts of her characters.

Her recent roles have been hard-core drama, but Kate revels in them and does not flinch from a challenge.  Personally Kate has to know about everyone of her friends, where they are, if they are safe and what they are doing. She will do anything to help a mate. She abhors injustice whether it be personal or global. Her vibrant Mercury makes her an excellent communicator, someone who can smooth over troubled waters and unite opposing forces.

2009 shows Kate making a wish and it coming true. She might lose an interesting role to gain a better one. A future Oscar will be within reach and the career influences continue to be brilliant. Kate’s greatest gift is her capacity to stand in her size 11 shoes and take her life on the chin, no matter what the challenge. She will never lose that British flair of “playing down her talents”, and joking about her gifts, her weight and her beauty. She is a great lass and even the hard taskmaster Saturn hovering around her in May will be kind, encouraging her to cut back on work, take a trip and assist a beloved friend who has hit on hard times. Kate is our heroine because she is such a wholesome gal. A lady who likes to eat, likes to love, and likes to interpret her roles to her utmost capacity and with dedicated flair. She is not a Hollywood princess, she is a real person, and someone we can all identify with. And this is her real gift!
