Chris Moyles

“The Story of a Man and his Mouth!” could well describe Chris Moyles, so unsurprisingly that is the title of his book. He always felt at an early age that the “world could be his oyster”, he wanted to expand, and reach many people with his nutty ideas. As controversial as the rather beefy Chris Moyles might seem, his originality cannot be disputed. Would it surprise you to learn that underneath his perceived racism, homophobia, bad language etc, a jolly Jupiter in Aquarius makes sure Chris enjoys pushing his boat out to gain attention? He is not as conservative as his occasional faux pas might lead us to believe. The reason we say this is because Chris is a super sensitive “Piscean” a joker fish, who swims the oceans of life aptly making friends with all the other fish in the deep. Of course he intelligently avoids the sharks and sting rays. In fact some might say he has an “alter persona” dolphin inside of him, a rather watery cosmic thinker, with unique communication skills.
Yet to look at him he could be classified as your “basic bloke” telling risky jokes down the pub. Yet, once you add a Moon in Pisces to the mix, the situation starts seriously swinging; that creative placement helps him understand his audience, you know their penchant for daft exploits such as his Car Park Catchphrase, where two fans blow their horns to pick up on a catchphrase. His choice of material usually hits the funny bone. In fact, we cannot stop giggling at his naughty innuendos, no matter how scandalous cos they are so darned ridiculous. We have to admit it; we dig his unique way of pulling information out of people like Ben Stiller, David Beckham, Jeremy Clarkson, and Kiefer Sutherland with that rather off beat “hail fellow well met” style of his. He has a pretty good team of people to support his show too, folks like Carrie Davis, the “sports princess”, and Keith (aka Cheggers) who participates in the whole thing by sending Chris silly songs, and even had his own spot called ‘Cheggers’ Pop Quiz’ at one stage.
The show starts in the morning from 6.30, ushered in by the “Cheesy Song” usually some Broadway musical number picked for its schmaltzy lyrics The fact is, Chris just cannot avoid having us giggling over our toast and marmalade, he puts us in a good mood, even if it is pouring with rain outside and the Monday morning news says another bank has gone bust!. His honed in capacity to guess what his public needs, demonstrates that his Piscean moon really can translate fantasies into reality. He has a gift for showbiz; he is inventive, creative, and original. This man will stop at nothing to make us chuckle, he uses a baseline, sharp intellect to do it too. Nothing “celebrity chic” about the guy. Mercury in Pisces will endow Chris with an unusual take on humanity. He knows lives are full of challenges, he knows goofball antics help people to get over themselves; his fun vibe elevates his style of presentation.
In 2007 his show was extended till noon one day a week due to an estimated audience of over 1 million, mainly young people who dig his wit! But what drives the man forwards, what makes him unusual and enthralling to his fans? Chris is confident in the idea department for a start, again communicative Mercury in Pisces hits the high note when it comes to originality. Yet, scratch below the surface and discover a withdrawn Venus in Capricorn when it comes romance, he might be inclined to skate the surface unable to express his emotions succinctly. Mars in Taurus will turn up the heat, making him warm and sensual, jealous and possessive, this might cause challenges when it comes to lurve, and he could be liable to split ups and misunderstandings. Pluto usually forces us all to go deeper within, so there could be some diversification to his usual patterns of entertaining, due to Pluto’s need to transform. He will take his usual approach to challenges, get a grip on the big picture, and find which road is best travelled. He is not afraid of changing, not really; this chap knows how to deal with his insecurities, his “wild and free” Sagittarius stimulating him to fiery and freedom loving takes on his destiny. He is our favorite Maverick ready to ride off into new and unknown territories of presentation consistently. This is a man with a gift, the gift of The Joker, as we said, a humane gift, one that helps us all to start off our day with a grin on our mugs. Good on ya mate!

Rowan Atkinson

One might ask oneself why the sight of the apparently staid Rowan Atkinson morphing into Mr. Bean or the confused vicar in Four Weddings and a Funeral has us gasping with so much hilarity. One could ask oneself till the “cows come home” but the answer is not that forthcoming unless one blames his comedic tomfoolery on a Gemini Moon. The fact is Rowan’s thinking processes are rather more “off beam” than his Capricorn sun sign’s solid views on life. Rowan has been compared to Charlie Chaplin by some; he certainly has built up a similar fortune, being worth approximately £100 million. Like Charlie he also has a gift for mime, but his take on comedy means spending hours working on multifarious aspects of his characterizations so that his high jinks continually have the whole world laughing.(Mr. Bean is popular from Naples to Burkina Faso).You could also blame Mercury in Capricorn for such a single-minded attitude to his craft if you wanted to, anyway a capacity to work through that hidden, dour side of his nature, so that the funny scene comes into being with such hilarious verve. Funny Rowan probably has not inherited a show biz gene; his father was a farmer and one of his brothers an economist. Obviously quite upper crust, his religion is Anglican and he studied engineering at Newcastle University, keeping to “the straight and narrow” and doing more or less what was expected of him. But mix his comedic gift with that friendly Gemini Moon, and hey presto, our friend would soon be writing nutty sketches and shaking the proverbial ground under an admiring public’s feet. It all started at the Oxford University Dramatic Society, the Oxford Revue and the Experimental Theatre Club. He was a riot, his shenanigans much appreciated by an intellectual status quo. Mars in Pisces would have helped, always making him a great fellow to do business with.

He has been collaborating with Richard Curtis and the composer Howard Goodall throughout his career. They would have found his attitude easy to get along with, perhaps because his capacity to create an unusual act is so ingenious; see him playing an invisible piano and marvel! But hang on, as far as Rowan’s love life is concerned it would be hard for us to see him as a sex symbol, but here that old phrase “still waters run deep” would be most apt, as he has a sultry Venus in Scorpio you see. Now everyone knows, and if you don’t we are telling you, that Venus in Scorpio is inclined to attract the opposite sex with awesome magnetism. Ha! Ha! We hear you giggle in disbelief. Certainly, we are aware Rowan is not exactly sex symbol material especially when it comes to his interpretation of the rather physically unappealing Mr. Bean, but again, we urge you to contemplate the indisputable fact that Rowan is an awesome performer, and with that Scorpio in Venus he would be more than capable of hiding the fact he is a closet “sex bomb!”

Ummm not convinced? Anyway, he is married to the pretty and exotic Sunetra Sastry. Sunetra knew right from the start he would be a great dad. She did not know however that his Jupiter in loving Cancer would have made him so. He adores his two children, and is attentive and kind hearted, making sure they get the very best educations and have a fun environment to grow up in. But what we might really need to understand about Rowan is that he is a single minded, indomitable soul, his mastery of his craft is inspiring. Why? Because wise old Saturn in Scorpio decided to bestow upon him a karmic gift for comedy. Indeed, from a metaphysical perspective he could have brought his art in from past lives, as we said showbiz does not show up as being prevalent in his gene pool. However, his capacity to entertain us is, and that capacity forms part of his soul construct, which is absolutely unique in its expression.

One could be so bold as to say he metaphysically channels his characters, his “Blackadders” and “Mr. Beans” could all come from an astral plane in his head, as they flow naturally without conflict or inner struggle; they are in fact part and parcel of who he is. There is a sense that his strong Capricorn aspect would make him conflicted though, attached to his past yet wanting to move on from it so a new type of Rowan can emerge. This could be a wish fulfilling year for Rowan Atkinson, some project he has been keen on for a while could be fulfilled, and he will be able to step in to an inspired way of doing something new, perhaps a TV series, or another film, which we will be sure to enjoy just as we did his “Never Say Die Again” an unlikely James Bond spoof. In any event, there are new opportunities for him to discover, and various doors opening, ones that will ease his consistent worrying about the future and make the most of that versatile Gemini Moon, as it sails him through whatever there is to sail through. Andi Peters

Well certainly one could only describe our charming Leo friend, Andi Peters as one friendly dude, communicative, extrovert and positive. A London boy born in Chelsea, he is a great kid’s presenter with a happy attitude. He would have been popular when he was a wee kid in knee breeches too, loving a joke, a laugh and a prank. Andi is on a mission to distribute his charismatic cheer to as many people as possible and so far he seems to be on track, until it comes to spiders! While presenting Live and Kicking with Emma Forbes, a tarantula was brought on set and dropped into his hand, mainly to help him get over his terror of the creepy critters. Andi dropped the thing on the floor; it was just too much, even for him. Andi’s moon in Gemini makes him pick up feelings and sensations from people, he always knows how to react positively no matter how negative those feelings may be, blocking out aggression or unpleasantness with negotiation. He will not allow anything or anybody to pull him down for too long with that triple Leo whammy. He has his Sun, Mars and Mercury all in Leo. That fiery Mercury in Leo makes him stick to his guns, push for results, never give up. The placement makes him love to talk, to deliver clear theories to his friends and audience. He will be inclined to press for answers, want people to say it how it is when it comes to his work; transparency could be his second name.
With those three aforementioned luminous planets walking besides him on life’s pathway he will find strange strokes of luck pushing him up the ladder to proverbial success when he least expects it. Additionally, with other happy astro placements by his side this year, and well into future years, it will not be too difficult for him to continue the brilliant career he began on the ITV’s Children’s programme Freetime. His talents do not end as a kid’s presenter, he owns his own fitness modelling agency, and was runner up in Celebrity Masterchef, not surprising his concern for others made sure he did not put too much salt in the soup, he would have hated to disappoint people’s taste buds.
As far as love is concerned, with that Venus in Virgo, he might want a pal by his side, someone he can burn the midnight oil with, someone who thinks like him, someone he can build a constructive lifestyle with. He is not into a “Gone with the Wind” thunder and passion type of relationship. He goes for an easy on the eye, easy on the heart type of partner even if he does get indecisive about how, when and where! Ms Venus in Virgo will make sure that he is a modest type of dude too, not ready to strut his stuff, but to listen and co-operate with others. Cristiano Ronaldo

Okay it is difficult to believe that someone is really “born with a silver spoon in their mouth,” but we just have to use that phrase when it comes to Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, and we say that taking into consideration his explosive antics when he was substituted sixty minutes into United’s match against Manchester City. Something about that Aquarian Sun, Leo Moon combo makes sure this guy will always set the record straight and a football field alight. You see, Destiny earmarked him as a Champion, even all those years back, when he was dozing in his mama’s womb. Christiano was born in Madeira, the beloved youngest child of Maria Dolores and Jose Dinis Aveiro. He was named Ronaldo after the US President Ronnie Reagan, who apparently was papa Jose’s favourite film star. Obviously a friendly astro sky was already standing by our hero when he was kicking a ball around a field as a three year old, and at the age of eight he already started to play the “beautiful game” for a local amateur team.
Mr Mars in Aries would have always gifted Christiano with enthusiasm, high energy, a capacity to compete, to stand up for his game, to aim for the bull’s eye. But you would really have to thank Mr Jupiter in Capricorn for those truly beneficial rays, rays that protected his health when he was diagnosed with a racing heart, and was operated on as a young teen, Good old Jupiter, the planet of luck and bounty was still shinning down on our friend when he was spotted by Liverpool Manager Gerard Houllier a year after his heart operation; and later signed to play for Manchester United in 2003, after meeting up with Sir Alex Ferguson and impressing the Manchester United team. Johan Cruijff said “Ronaldo is better than George Best and Dennis Law, who were two brilliant and great players in the history of United.” Little is known about this handsome star’s love life. But Venus in Aries would make him an excitable type of guy when it comes to the ladies. He would not be afraid to woo the object his affections with a romantic approach, even write her poetry, or send her bunches of red roses.

He would have grieved a papa who was his best pal, and that loneliness might weigh upon him still. But a friendly Uranus will always gift him with the trust and determination to continue on his life path in troubled times, no matter what happens. Uranus will make sure he experiences surprising success if he continues to hold evolved perceptions of life. He has so much inner resolve, the only thing he needs to be careful of are sports injuries, or crashing into other players on the field. He has already had his ankle operated on, and he needs to make sure he does not push himself too hard, but the fact is there is little to stop this young man evolving as a human being and a sportsman. Over the next couple of years there is a general “settling down” of his affairs. He will focus his energies, and literally “keep his eye on the ball!” We sense he will find inner balance as he plays his field, and even emotional stability. Will Carling

Sagittarius William Carling, nicknamed “bum face” because of his cute cleft chin is a bit of a rebus. I mean was he a love rat, or just the youngest ever British rugby player? Was he Princess Di, ex suitor, or was that all a publicity stunt? Take your pick; for sure he is a multi faceted sort of guy, once considered “poetry in motion” on the rugby field after winning 72 caps. At that time he was virtually everyone’s darling, our British golden boy cum sports hero, but suddenly his image nosedived and he woke up from a dream; losses on the field, and his personal life had taken their toll. During the early nineties when he led England to win the Five Nations Grand Slam, and the final of the World Cup it looked like little could go wrong. But soon, his love life would be frowned upon, he is known in some circles as a “love em and leave em” type of dude. His first marriage was to the TV presenter Julia Carling, she believed the Princess Di stories and dumped him like a hot potato, but he continued to remain nobly protective of the Princess’ memory as he has vehemently denied the truth of any emotional involvement with her, other than being “just good friends!
At the time, Mars in Capricorn would have made him very aware of social mores, and he would have taken the easiest option, that of a gentleman. Will would say he has a great capacity to hold himself back from expressing intimate emotions, but believe us, in the right circumstances they pour out of him like a proverbial river in flood. However, the big news story was that he walked out on his partner Ali Cockayne to start a new life with Lisa Cooke just like that! Ali saw an announcement of his intentions on his computer, and of course the word “gutted” would be an understatement as to how she felt. She was seen wandering outside their home with their one year old son in her arms, sobbing openly. Interestingly William gained a degree in psychology from Hatfield College Durham, so you would imagine he had some idea of how the human mind works. But seemingly not, at least he has very little idea how the female mind works. He once said in a Sunday Mirror Interview, “Women… they were a mystery to me. I used to think I understood them, but the truth is that I never really did”.
The main issue is that Mercury in Sagittarius would make him blunt, borderline ruthless in his honesty when relationships are not working. He does not believe in that old adage “the little white lie!” He tells it how it is. He has tried many exploits when it came to his career also, he won a scholarship to Hatfield college Durham, then joined the Royal Regiment of Wales, but when things do not work in Will’s life they just do not work, so it is useless trying to force matters, Mercury in Saggy probably encouraged him to leave the army, he was too much of a Maverick to fit in. Anyway, at the best of times Sagittarians are inclined to excess, exaggeration, even insolence when the occasion merits it, but they are such bold personalities, and have such a defiant take on life, one cannot but adore them. The status quo is certainly not something they go a whole bunch on, and William is no exception to this rule. In fact with has his moon in Leo, his style could be classified as a “bonfire of the vanities” for he virtually burns his way through a tricky, yet exceedingly entertaining lifestyle. He is mesmeric, he just attracts people to him like a bees to honey, profound, deep even, someone who as we mentioned above, might try to hide his passions, but be sure they run rampage around his psyche on a regular basis.
When his mum died he admitted he was unashamed to let the tears stream down his cheeks. No matter who puts him down Will will never wait on the river bank to see the corpses of his enemies float by either. He would go and punch them on the nose instead; seriously he is far too kind hearted to hold a sword of Damocles over anyone’s head. He will always forgive and forget, Leo Moon says this is his prerogative of course: but he might be inclined to exaggerate a tad when it comes to doing it “his way” and not understand that not everyone goes for the same method, especially the damsels he walked away from. He wants the very best, the best woman, career etc, ignoring the profound sides to life, and himself, sometimes mucking up everything as a result. If he were to remember that he does have a mission, life would be less of a challenge. He probably more than understood the deeper meaning of existence when he sat by his sick and dying mum stroking her arm, a devoted and loving son. Life might not have been that great for Will recently.
He will need to direct his creativity into the right channels, and eliminate as much stress as possible. Jupiter in Gemini is always on his side, but he will have to make sure that he pays attention to the Winged Messenger’s missives for aspects of his life to work. He is a bright bloke, and Jupiter’s placement would help him learn life’s lessons fast this year. The learning curve has been steep in the past, and slow, he is one stubborn dude, but now he needs to follow his higher purpose and fulfill his life from a different perspective, a caring perspective. He will be helping a lot of people over the next years, and will become a figure head for many, we sense a new career interest will inspire him to move on and up, because as we eluded this is a man with a mission, and it is to give up the worry and move to a true purpose, one of maturity and compassion, one that encourages and inspires others. Sir Alex Ferguson

Sir Alex Chapman Ferguson was born at his grandmother’s home and grew up in a tenement. A World War II baby, coming into the world at a time when Britain was under siege in 1941, we imagine that his first impressions as a tiny tot might have been one of a confusing existence, when life was challenging, and sometimes frightening. His capacity to stand up to obstacles, therefore, might be to do with those distant childhood memories, but also because his Sun and Mercury, both in Capricorn, denote a solid, integrated type of bloke, not one to wear his heart on his sleeve. Sir Alex has a tendency to rule the roost. His capacity to manage Manchester United is more than successful, it is stellar, but his view that “My way or the highway” plus a rather stern and paternal approach to players, has seen many champions leave the team. Let us put it this way, this remarkable man has guided United to ten league championships, two Champions Leave Titles, and was the first manager to lead a British team to a treble league championship, and win the FA cup five times. Sir Alex has become the most successful manager in the history of English football. But then you might ask what makes him tick?
Well, let us return to his Mercury in Capricorn. For this is the planetary placement on which we rest our case. That aspect would make him a planner, a constructor, a controller, someone with his finger on the pulse, someone with vision, someone who can pull a team together when nobody else can. Why? Well because of his charismatic presence. This is a man who walks into room and people sit up straight. He has had his disappointments of course, especially when he was managing Aberdeen, but he would have always had the capacity to stare reality right in the face. He never found deadlines difficult to fulfill. He will stick to his guns until the bitter end. He has enough inner solidity to carry his team through any fiery hoop. Do not expect Sir Alex to small talk his way through life. If he has nothing important to say he will keep quiet. He does not believe in pussy footing around a problem, and is able to deal with his own bouts of discouragement when they come, as they will.

Richard Branson

It seems to be a virtual rule of thumb that some kids have issues integrating into the main stream education system, but yet they touch the stars as adults, especially when it comes to hitting the high C success wise. Perhaps being ticked off by teachers and parents grows a second skin, a harder one. They learn that in order to survive they will just have to play down their Achilles heel, and build on their own resourcefulness. Richard Branson, who could never claim to being the top of his class, once said “My interest in life comes from setting myself huge, apparently unachievable challenges and trying to rise above them…from the perspective of wanting to live life to the full, I felt that I had to attempt it” Born under the sun sign of Cancer, our inspired Richard rose above all challenges when it came to his ingenious business solutions. With his blonde, “King Arthur” good looks he has created his own Camelot, and is considered a “transformational leader” Branson came kicking and screaming onto planet earth with an original plan. It was to make a lot of money and become a standard bearer for thought-provoking endeavors.

Mercury in Leo would have helped him keep his eye on the road in this regard, pushing him towards his goal. Add to that, a shining Leo sun in Mercury and nobody could hold back his illumined thought processes and high voltage communication capacities. He has starred as himself on shows like Friends, Baywatch, Birds of a Feather, Only Fools and Horses, Goodness Gracious me etc entertaining many, and certainly making the odd female heart flutter. So being a slow student was no skin off Richard’s nose in the greater scheme of things, in fact he was the kind of teenage dude who was good at sports and having fun. He forayed into the “wheeling and dealing” facets of life at 16 years old with a magazine called, wait for it, “Student”.  His next deal with setting up a mail order business, and then he moved on as we all know, to become a billionaire with his successful Virgin Records, Virgin Megastores, Virgin Atlantic Airways, Virgin Mobile, Virgin Blue, etc. His only planet in the sign of Virgin, or Virgo, is Saturn. Since Mr. Saturn is a cosmic teacher, and a very resourceful one at that, the placement fell in Richard’s favor. It would have gifted him with a capacity to build a resilient backcloth to his affairs, learn the value of life experience, and encourage his ingenious endeavors.

Saturn would have also reminded him to cultivate patience in the face of adversity as per his heroic record breaking trip across the Atlantic in his “Virgin Atlantic Challenger”, the boat capsized. He was rescued by a RAF helicopter. But he tried to beat another record, and in 1991 successfully crossed the Pacific from Japan to Arctic Canada, in a balloon, cruising at a speed of 245 miles per hour. As far as his emotions are concerned, this man loves the ladies with a seductive moon in Leo. When he was a young man dating would have been fun, especially with Venus in Gemini making him a chatty kind of guy, more attracted to a gutsy babe who could keep him laughing than your classic beauty queen. He is now on his second marriage and his north node would ensure a deeply sensitive approach, with a need to draw lines around his personal relationships when it comes to privacy. He needs stability, a rich family life, and is less prone to emotional “exploration” when it comes to one-on-one relationships.

Signing controversial bands such as Faust, Can Can, the Sex Pistols and Culture Club would be far easier for Richard than discussing a marriage crisis. When it comes to business, Richard Branson has learnt to react with gutsy intensiveness, and sometimes bet on Lady Luck to save the day. In fact, Lady Luck has always saved his day, may be because she loves the brave. Pluto in Leo encourages him to fulfill a humanitarian mission, to create a better world for his grandchildren, to build into a higher perspective of life overall. Russell T Davies

No matter how grey then sky is, and how heavily the rain falls, Wales certainly stimulates a man’s grey matter and brings forth creative geniuses such as Martin Amies, Roald Dahl, Ken Follet, Dylan Thomas and Dick Francis. There is obviously something about those craggy Welsh peaks that inspires the exceptional to reach into their psyches and bring out their best. And so it must be said for the 6 ft 6” tall, renowned screen writer and producer Russell T Davies born under the sign of Taurus! He has created exceptional TV dramas such as “Queer as Folk”, “The Second Coming” and more than revived the lagging “Doctor Who”. He grew up in the Swansea suburbs, later attending Oxford University and receiving a degree in English Literature. After cutting his teeth in Welsh theatre, he moved on to BBC TV, and began working as a production assistant. He later morphed into director of young kiddies’ shows such as Play School and subsequently the very popular Children’s Ward on ITV, which won a BAFTA for Best Children’s Drama in 1996. 

Russell is brilliantly gay and it is said that some of the experiences he wrote about in “Queer as Folk” were based on his own experience of the highs and lows of the gay clubbing scene. His Venus in Aries would make him forthright when it comes to his love life, the kind of man who jumps in the deep end, never holding back from what he perceives as emotional intensity. In fact his Jupiter in daring Aries makes him a risk taker, unafraid to go where “Angels fear to tread!” in his art, his life and his relationships. Some of his flair could be laid at the door of a brilliant Gemini Moon, the silver lady encourages him to flit from theme to theme, dive into the purpose of each character with stark realism. Underneath that complex exterior there beats the heart of a simple man, one who understands the very heart of life. His Sun in Taurus would give him that grasp on basic human needs, he sort of dances between the high minded and the down to earth, moving from situation to situation, idea to idea, place to place infinitely adaptable and unable to halt the creative flow, he once said “I like taking big, high-concept ideas and pulling them down and making them real. The impossible can become very believable. Deep down within the shadows of Saggy sun sign Ozzy Osbourne sits a “Che Guevara” sub personality. A revolutionary fighting for justice, for the working man, for the expression of subterranean feelings. His outrageous “acting out” in his hard psychedelic rock days was an “up yours” statement to the ruling classes whom as far as Ozzy was concerned were just plain repellent! A difficult childhood  in Birmingham, when he had severe learning difficulties, and felt humiliated in class, probably made him swear he would stand up to the authority figures who had always made him feel so insignificant. His Mercury also in Saggy would have wanted Ozzy to hold his finger up at hypocrisy, small minded thinking, and limited perceptions of life. The karmic lesson in inherent in all this would be to overcome his lack of self confidence and reach out for his view of the truth. His needed to push the boat out regarding his own perceptions of art and music, for how could he speak of the darker, more complex sides of human existence if he knew little of them himself?

Sagittarians are not known for their self control but for their charisma, they can be excessive, immensely humorous, and consistently outrageous. Jim Morrison of the Doors was a Saggy, as was Jimmi Hendrix, both were rebels against the status quo and both died of excessive drug overdoses. So it was clear Ozzy needed structure and order to continue to keep his show on the road. In fact his earlier shenanigans as a heavy metal artiste were due to a “Rock Hero” lifestyle and extreme performance stress, resulting in alcoholism, drug ingestion and wacky stage pranks. You see no matter how nutty our friend might seem, and was, and sometimes still is, we repeat, he is a Sagittarian, the Archer, half man half horse galloping across the plains, and in Ozzy’s case not knowing exactly where he was going. And guess who gave him the emotional steadiness he so needed to see direction? His wife Sharon of course.

That destined meeting with his soul mate was organised by his Moon in Capricorn. Ms. Moon wanted emotional stability for our friend, wanted to make sure that lines were drawn around his unbalanced lifestyle. Ozzy’s Venus in Scorpio would have been nothing other than devastatingly attractive to the female of the species when he was a hip young rocker. Female fans and rock groupies would have been falling at his feet. Mars in Scorpio would have assured that sexual charisma, that powerful capacity to live to the hilt, that passion, that huge energy and original talent. Sharon took one look at him and knew she had found the man of her life, but he was a wild man, and they had a wild relationship. Shindigs were the order of the day. His excesses could be nominated borderline depravity by some. Certainly the American Christians scorned him, and claimed he had dealings in the black arts, and worse. He once shot all his family’s pets “I was taking drugs so much I was a wreck. The final straw came when I shot all our cats. We had about 17, and I went crazy and shot them all. My wife found me under the piano in a white suit, a shotgun in one hand and a knife in the other” In fact his deep need to express himself to a mesmerized audience, accounted for the “bat” incident, when he picked up what he thought was a rubber bat thrown on the stage by a member of the public – it was a real bat, and it bit him! Yet now in the 21st century, Jupiter in Capricorn, the beneficial Jupiter that has been running after him all his life, has taken our Ozzy in hand   This kind of Jupiter will make sure he is a family man, devoted to his wife, so much so the thought of losing her sends him into fits of desperation and tearful sobbing. That his endearing, rather bemused role as the father on the hit show The Osbournes conquers the hearts of millions, when he becomes everyone’s favorite, good bad guy.

When he was invited to the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner, President Bush noted Osbourne and jibed: “The thing about Ozzy is, he’s made a lot of big hit recordings – ‘Party with the Animals’, ‘Sabbath, Bloody Sabbath, ‘Facing Hell’, ‘Black Skies’ and ‘Bloodbath in Paradise’. Ozzy, Mom loves your stuff!” Finally in his old age, Ozzy has won over the teachers who did not believe in him when he was a kid with learning problems. Okay, so his health is no longer a hundred percent tops but he has finally hit the massive, big time. He had his first number one UK hit singing that Black Sabbath song “Changes” with his daughter Kelly after his motorbike accident not so long ago. And currently he is one of the richest men in the UK. The awards keep rolling in due to the bright rays of kind old Jupiter, so he really need not look back, not unless he wants to of course! Over the next couple of years Ozzy will still be striking out in new directions, following his guiding light Sharon, who that stubborn Capricorn moon so wanted him to meet all those years ago. We can only say “Life begins at 60 Ozzy!” and your life is a very unique and precious one!

Alan Carr

The hilariously camp, highly sympathetic Gemini, known as Alan Carr is not all that meets the eye, in other words not all teeth and glasses. In fact best not to jump to conclusions about who he is, as his outer persona, i.e. that big grin and all that entertaining spiel might cover up a basically shy Gemini. Nah we hear you cry!!! We know, hard to believe, especially since he struts around the stage, his audience falling about at his cutting quips and fast repartee. Our chap was born in Dorset and moved to Manchester when he realised that he was getting absolutely nowhere fast in any facet of his existence. He always wanted to make em laugh; cheering up the general public was doing something positive for humanity after all.  He is sharp, to the point and is eye observant, taking in the variants of human nature with natural ease, and still managing to convey its quirks with great aplomb.

 
He likes to camp it up, but has said “I just think gay people need to get over themselves. Just because you’re gay and on the telly doesn’t mean you’re a role model. I’m just a comedian. That’s all I am…. What am I meant to do? Do I go down the Julian Clary route and talk about fisting and poppers? I don’t talk about being gay and I think what better equality for gays than that?” His rise to fame included appearances at Edinburgh shows and in 2007 he toured the UK, but what is it that makes this fun chappie click with his audience so resolutely? Well of course Gemini as his sun sign for starters, Mr. Quicksilver, the winger messenger, makes sure that mind of his remains alert, bright, and perceptive. Just as a note of interest, as far as education is concerned Alan is certainly no shirker; he has a BA (Hons) in Drama and Theatre Studies from Middlesex University. His moon in Capricorn would make him a grounded sort of chap, able to burn the midnight oil when it comes to research and picking up new and original information. 
He has a sense of competition, of being the best, yet he is also someone who hates to see others hurting each other, and cannot quite get his head around humanity’s sicker traits like torture, racism, sexism etc. The split side of his Gemini picture might make it a bit difficult for him to integrate the more materialistic aspects of life with a higher, more comedic vision. He might get lost along the way, and it has to be said his road to success has not always been paved in gold, especially regarding a love life, which could be strewn with conflict. He is inclined to worry about it even though his emotional nature is adventurous, experimental. In fact he is the kind of guy who likes to carry on a long term conversation with the object of his affections, and gets upset when things get emotionally taxing and less than fascinating as a result. He doesn’t like a classic relationship, but he wants closeness, so there are some contradictions for him to deal with, especially as he is inclined to get sudden crushes, due to a fiery Mars placement. It has to be faced, our friend is basically an intellectual, who, as we inferred, can grasp the more complex absurdities of existence to get his audience laughing.
 
His intelligence is an advantage when it comes to a fun take on reality, less of an advantage when he worries about all the possible things that could go wrong. He will ruminate, more than excessively, until he has brought up some extremely creative and original quip. He is also well grounded enough not to allow himself to be overcome by fraught thoughts. In fact his comedic talents help him to shift focus off his own darker side. A lovely Venus in Gemini showers him with originality, he is one of those guys who can captivate you without you realising it. It is not unusual to see rapt faces staring up at him the during one of his performances as Mars in Leo will literally lift him into the moment, making each performance vibrant with intensity, In other words he just must express himself, if he does not he will get hit with an attack of the blues and could be sulky. There is a sense that this is a guy who likes to keep on the move, he would fidget, and he does not want to remain stuck in one boring place. 
As a kid his mum would have yelled “Alan for goodness sake stop wiggling!” But it is his north node in Scorpio that closes the deal. This is a man who will be enigma to his friends, there is something about him that is difficult to suss, perhaps because we do not realise that he is on a sort of mission, and it is to plunge into the depths of human nature, pull it up and then flash it in front of us, realistically, satirically, derisively, mocking us, in any event, making us laugh. Matt Lucas

Eighth on the list of Britain’s most influential gays or lesbians, Matt Lucas could be described as a cherubic whiz kid, a mastermind, whose peculiar talent was spotted by Bob Mortimer and Vic Reeves. They just knew he was an original. There was something about him, something screwball, plus a gift of the gab, and a keen eye for a wacko joke, they just could not ignore him. He can spot a droll situation in a second, and translate it onto paper in half a minute. This is due to super intellectual Mars in Gemini, which makes him smart enough to argue with a quantum physicist, brilliant enough to assess the ridiculous behind that veneer we call civilization. His famous catch phrases have become a silly yet controversial part of British society, and the pepper of his and partner’s, David Walliams, hit show Little Britain. The show has won numerous awards may be because Lucas excels in all his characterisations, including the homophobic homosexual Daffyd Thomas! His talent has to thank pure instinct, as well as a brilliant mind. The ideas just flow with his sun in Pisces and moon in Cancer.

A bright Muse fills him with comedic inspiration 24 hours a day.  He is a responsive fellow identifying so much with his characters that he literally merges into roles such as the drum, playing, giant baby in Shooting Stars, whose stream of farcical comments were understood by few but laughed at by many. No matter how ruthlessly funny he appears this is a guy whose shoulder you can cry on. Because not only will he gather together all his talents to make you giggle, but his kind feelings to help you out if you are in a tough spot, again soft Moon in Cancer, kind Sun in Pisces. Born in Paddington, he grew up in Stanmore, and was bald from childhood; some people say this was due to delayed shock after a road accident when he was but four years old. Perhaps it was then he decided life could not be funnier, and became a one off with an aptitude for hilarity. He attended Haberdashers Boys School and already showed promise as a clowning type of kid, everyone’s mate with that super ability to empathise.

Sacha Baron Cohen also attended Haberdashers and interestingly Lucas has since written some spots for him mainly on Ali G and Borat. Matt would not like to boast about his generosity, but we can tell you he is a patron of the Karen Morris Memorial Trust, a charity in aid of leukemia patients and their families. Eccentric Mercury in Aquarius will make him aware of human suffering yet manage to deal with it in an offbeat manner, seeing the droll side to it. He already knew something about pain when he was a little kid, but chose to go for an open-minded attitude to the turmoil of his life, and everyone else’s. You see he has a cosmic picture unfolding in his head,  blame that take on Mr. Uranus in Libra, it encourages a broad based awareness that something “greater” or “cosmic” might have a say in the ways of the Universe. Some might agree he is earmarked for comedic greatness, certainly for Tweedledee and Tweedledum in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderful, also starring Johnny Depp, and Helena Bonham Carter. Nothing can hold him back not even his own oddity because Mr. Saturn in Gemini has driven his talent hard, making sure he leaves no stone unturned, giving him the capacity to concentrate full on, to achieve all that absurdity. 

You see, good old cosmic Teacher Mr. S wants our hero to make the best of his talents! But it is his north node in Sagittarius that will inspire every time, make him reach for the proverbial stars with an inspirational take. Always open minded, non discriminatory, he is consistently ready to find an unusual slant. He has long realised that the “kill joys” and “misery me’s” never get that far in life, except in his shows of course. North node in Saggy will gift him with that sudden brainwave, a capacity to mix match absurd jest and hair raising slapstick to perfection. He can play with his words and his comedic style so perfectly, that the outcome cannot fail. In fact throughout 2009 we can expect to see this clowning nutcase fulfill his stellar talent to the hilt. Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnold “I’ll be back” Schwarzenegger, is not only the greatest body builder of all time, a film star, governor of California, but an illustrious US immigrant and modern day myth. He could have only have been born in the sign of Leo, with all that fiery ambition, all that yearning to hit the big time! He was brought up in the hinterlands of Austria, not the best place for a young Lion, by disciplinarian parents. His childhood heroes were cinematic, going to the movies was an escape from the pain of childhood. Pure Hollywood my stars like John Wayne, Steve Reeves and Johnny Weissmuller, “inspired” Arnie, made him realise “what was possible!” An original Mercury in Cancer helped him connect to the heroes lurking in his own unconscious. His rich imagination, plus a capacity to vision dreams as if they were happening helped him forge ahead. He still is known to be a goal setter, writing down what he wants on cards that he reads each day. But back then, he would have kept his aspirations hidden from view, taking a detached and scathing look at his home life, realising he would have to move on from it if he wanted something better.

With that hard working moon in Capricorn, Arnold not only dreamt of success, he pushed to make it happen. He had grown up a tough young man, well built, tall 6ft 2”, with a charismatic presence. Dedicated body building would become his raison d’être and when he won the Junior Mr. Europe title in 1965 he knew he was on the right track. With his Mr. Universe successes well under his belt, Arnie confidently moved to the USA winning the Mr. Olympia title in New York City. Part of his dream had already come true!  The best was to come!

He had a couple of romantic liaisons in the US initially, but his magical meeting with Maria Shriver, his future wife, and niece of John Kennedy, sealed his fate. Maria must have been taken aback when she first got to know Arnie. Our big, heroic, muscle bound hero was in essence a softy when it came to love, so sensitive, the slightest cruel comment would have him turning away, hurt. In fact Venus in Cancer will make him a guy that yearns for emotional security and a happy home life, the one he did not have as a child. Above and beyond his fame, Maria knows her Arnie is a man who needs a good woman standing by him! Nobody can deny Arnold has huge talent, he literally overflows with it. Something about his funny Austrian accent, his cave man looks have attracted audiences from all over the world; however his first forays into screen acting were pretty disastrous. He was told he was not up to scratch that his name was all wrong. Nonetheless he had his breakthrough with Conan the Barbarian in 1982, which was a huge box office hit. He eventually made the big time with his role in The Terminator and now has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

One can truly say Arnold has come a long way from that little Austrian village! In fact honors have literally rained down upon our hero and Arnie knows how to make good use of them. His Jupiter in Scorpio will have turned his gifts into money, a lot of money. A business sense a nose for a deal, a capacity to transform lead to gold all form part of Arnie’s character. His capacity for hard work is supersonic, but his Saturn in Leo would give him the ability to affect his environment with inbuilt foresight, and that stubborn belief that dreams can come true. His north node in Gemini has been a challenge. He has had to learn to communicate clearly, to express his dreams succinctly. But somehow, it is his awesome presence rather than his words that have hit the bull’s eye.

Not to say that he has never made mistakes, he was accused of sexual misconduct when he became the Governor of California. But still, there is something about the man that convinces, that makes us feel he is a good chap, a fighter who will prove that anyone, from anywhere can create miracles, if they have enough grit and determination. This year, Arnie will look on his life with great satisfaction. He will make tweaks here and there, as his prerogative will be peace of mind. Roman Abramovich

Well, Libran Roman Abramovich looks like your average bloke sipping his beer down at the local, except for the fact he is a Russian multi millionaire, and is considered by many to be the 15th richest man in the world! Blame it on his Saturn in Pisces, good old Mr. Saturn, would have made sure our hero wised up at an early age and realise that life can be suffering and that to rise above poverty and financial insecurity one would have cling to some faith, or stand tall financially. The phrase “self made man” would be an understatement as far as he is concerned. Roman, of Jewish origin, is known to contribute much of his money to Israel, and Jewish communities around the world. His achievements are all the more noteworthy because his beginnings were challenging.

He lost his mother at 18 months, and when he was four his father was killed in work fatality.  He was brought up by his uncle and a doting granny. As a young man, he enrolled in the Russian army and moved on and up to take advantage of Gorbachov’s reforms in the eighties. The result? Our friend was soon walking an entrepreneurial path to success with an extraordinary “Midas Touch”. He is now a billionaire at only forty two years old. Venus in Libra would have helped push him up to the top of the proverbial mountain, making sure he was the kind of guy who could charm the birds off the trees, an asset in a hard, cold business world. But to understand the significance of what Roman has achieved, let us list a few of his successes. He is the manager of Chelsea. Football Club, owner of “Pelorus” one of the most beautiful yachts in the world. He has invested in the Russian football team with his own personal funding. He has spent 310 million euro’s to buy the most expensive villa on this planet, Villa Leopola, once owned by the Fiat Super Star Gianni Agnelli. Where does he get the energy? Well, Mars in Virgo would insist he is a high energy type of dude, his eye always on the next deal, his energy literally bursting out of every pore. He expects the best from himself and others to an almost excessive degree.

He probably picks up languages and accents pretty quick, and can mirror those he is connecting to so rapidly if you do business with him, you might think you have just met a long lost friend! He started out with a 2,000-ruble wedding present from his in-laws when he married his first wife Olga; he then invested in a multitude of black market goods including toothpaste.  “I think he enjoyed the thrill of it all,” Olga once declared “When he returned from trips selling the goods, he was flushed with joy.” As Perestroika cleared the way for more of those new opportunities Roman and Olga created a doll making company, which proved to be a big hit. Roman continued to burn his awesome business trail across the firmaments, creating one company after another, and specialising in import export, yet his interests were drawn to the giant Russian petroleum company Sibneft. He bought some actions in it, got involved in varied wheeling’s and dealings, and soon he was on the road to millionaire-hood. He has five children and in 2007 divorced Olga, negotiating with her so he did not have to let go of half of his fortune; he managed to pay her off with 300 million dollars. Roman is the governor of Chukotka, in Russia. He has spent his own money on the area, some say in the region of $1.3 billion; as a result living standards have shot up with decent roads, schools, and hospitals.

Roman was awarded the Order of Honor for “his huge contribution to the economic development of the autonomous district” with a decree signed by the President of Russia. Before the credit crunch he was considered the second richest individual in the United Kingdom, but it is estimated be has lost 3 billion as a result of the crisis! A drop in his ocean of wealth no doubt! So, what makes this man tick we hear you cry? Well you might be surprised to learn that his basic nature is pretty harmonious with a balanced Libra making sure he does not overload his scales. His odd brush with illegalities was swept under the carpet as a result of that benign Libran balancing act, making it easier to resolve accusations of bribery. Mercury in Scorpio would have walked arm in arm with that ever-so-kind Venus, helping him overcome most of life’s obstacles. He can tell a good joke, which is a unique gift to have under your belt with millions of euro’s lying on the table. Who could have possibly said, “I’ve written this song called Insania – it’s a mix of Insane and Mania, and even though it’s a made up word you instantly know what it means!?” Go on, put your thinking cap on, it will not take that long? First clue, he was born in the UK but his family immigrated to Australia? Second clue, his first UK hit single was “Only One!” Third clue, he is a singer cum songwriter, a TV celebrity, with Greek Cypriot genes, a guy who holds great store on “family” and warm flowing emotions? Okay let us put you out of your misery, the man is the sensual, original Piscean Peter Andre, a good looking bloke with tons of charisma and an intense mix match of talents. A guy fascinated by exciting projects and exciting people. A guy who has always had a number of beautiful ladies revolving around him, due to his openhearted show biz flair, and somewhat detached approach to love.

This is a guy whose Mars in Capricorn will push him to success with method, hard work and total dedication. Good old Cappy will encourage him to be a dude on the move too, a new song perpetually on his lips, a show biz project on his mind. If you met him at a party he would be the one in the colourful ensemble, the bloke who earmarks you as his mate, and chats to you about his choice of décor and the wonderful people he knows, for Mr. Andre is an up front communicator, someone who tells it how it is, someone who is not that keen to keep his life mission under wraps. Mr. Karl Lagerfeld is the kind of exotic persona that has the “timid contingent”, quaking in their boots. He will be in the swing of things from Dubai to Madagascar, always wearing those dark glasses, the ones he never takes off, that white hair, that pony tail that intimidating stance smacking of a refined character with an innovative take on life. We would expect him to be holidaying in Cannes, lazing at the edge of some private pool sipping his mineral water with a hint of distain, after all he has reached iconic status, and that can be stressful.

The fact is the intriguing Mr. Lagerfeld is a Virgo, and Virgos are prone to be hyper critical of themselves and others – Mr. Lagerfeld is no exception. But with his moon in Pisces, this man will waft off into his own world, inclined to melancholy, complex moods and sullen silences. Karl moved to Paris in the 1950s and started working as a draftsman for a fashion house. Anna Wintour walked out of his show when he employed an Italian stripper, to model his Fendi collection and he is virtually at war with the Animal Rights contingent, standing by “fur in fashion”. He says, “In a meat eating world, wearing leather for shoes and even clothes, the discussion of fur is childish.”. In the north, hunters make a living having learned nothing else than hunting, killing those beasts who would kill us if they could kill us. “Michael McGraw spokesperson for PETA replied. “Lagerfeld seems particularly delusional with his kill or be killed mentality. When was the last time a person’s life was threatened by a mink or a rabbit?” Whether one agrees with Mr. Lagerfeld’s or not, it is clear that he takes a very strong stance, and once he decides something his stroppy Mars in Virgo will help him stick to his point of view. Yet with a magnificent Scorpio in Venus he can be charismatic, charming, and available, giving his all once he likes you, and once you agree with him. But when it comes to his inner circle, Mr. Lagerfeld is complex, he will never go where angels fear to tread, he is wary, and has a strong defense mechanism that protects him from hustlers and emotional vampires. Paul O’Grady

“I got mistaken for a serial killer in Germany once. Two years ago, I was in Berlin and they let some nut out and the people in the street were all going’ “Ooh ooh!” pointing at me, and I thought, “Oh I didn’t know they had the Lilly Savage Show here”. So said the multi dimensional Mr. Paul O Grady MBE. Paul would just have to be a Gemini, Gemini can be so extraordinarily talented, and add on Paul’s Mercury also in Gemini, one can only safely say he is a borderline genius, his creative ideas stimulating, intriguing and amusing us all. The fact that Mr. O Grady looks like a bank manager should not put anyone off,  after all one must never judge a book by its cover because you just don’t know what cover you are going to get when it comes to Paul! He might just be pretending to be main stream, your average Jo Bloggs, Mr. Ordinary, but the fact is this is a brilliant comedian and awesome TV presenter, a man who once had us all guffawing at the outrageously absurd shenanigans of a certain Ms Lily Savage.

 

Every time he morphed into his extravagant alter persona Lily, a vamp from the nether regions whose dry comments and homespun advice would liven up any show, party or wedding, we were gob smacked, she was unbelievably funny, and oddly, we all knew we had a friend just like Lily in our lives. He took his Lily everywhere and it was not long before the two of them would walk down the road to success. But how did Paul and Lily meet? Well, right from the start Paul had a thing about expressing the many facets of his multifarious personality. He worked as a civil servant, a bar man, a woodsman, a clerk and a social worker. But it was when he was working as a waiter in Manila that Lily Savage came into being. She probably appeared just as he was about to say “beam me up Scotty!” certainly her origins were on the edge of some nether region! It was not long before this glamourous, big haired, super made up, wise cracking broad held the United Kingdom in the palm of her hands, strutting her stuff in gay clubs, bars, and eventually on TV.  Lily even made guest appearances on shows like The Big Breakfast, and Blankety Blank, always a force to be reckoned with, so outrageous that sometimes one had to rub one’s eyes to make sure that what one was seeing, and hearing, was actually happening.  Perhaps inspired by his own Irish Catholic upbringing, in 2000. Paul informed us all that Lily had seen the light and had gone off to live in a convent in France. We were sad at her demise, but also glad to see our hero trot off to launch yet another new facet to his multi dimensional personality, his own television show travelling the Orient. 

 

Obviously his successful expansion into broadcasting continued. He hosted his own chat show, and has been a guest on many a radio and TV spectacle, even branching into DJ-ing on Paul O’Grady on the Wireless. Paul’s personal life has been almost as multifarious as his show biz activities. There was a marriage of convenience, to a Portuguese friend, and from that marriage he sired a daughter Sharyn and is now grandfather to a beautiful boy Abel. With that Venus in Gemini, living with Paul would keep anyone on their toes, you might never know which sub personality you are going to share your breakfast with. Suffice it to say he will chat, chat, chat mesmerizing you with his new ideas, perceptions, and insights. But that Mars in Cancer will make him a solid companion, he loves a beautiful home,  a domestic environment where he can just hang up his hat, contemplate  in peace and enjoy all that life has gifted him with.

 

He is a kindly man, with a good heart, and he has a need to look after others, just as he would like to be looked after himself.  He suffered from a major heart attack, after not feeling well for some time in 2002, but such hard times were compensated in 2003 when the Observer listed him as one of the funniest British actors in show biz.  In October 2008 he was awarded an MBE for his services to entertainment, and we cannot think of anyone who deserves it more. So what shows up for our friend for the next year or so? Well it looks like we will see considerable changes to Paul’s life. Mr. Mercury has always been his friend, and will encourage the planet Pluto to help him dig deep within to bring forth yet another scintillating idea, or sub personality. It is more than likely Paul will write a book, or perhaps a screen play. 

 

His life has been challenging, his own psyche intense and complex, he is inclined to worry, due his overstimulated and active mind, blame that again on Mr. Mercury. But Mr. Pluto, planet of the underworld, will help our friend delve into the depths and morph into so many variants of who he actually is, it will continue to be nothing short of miraculous! We feel this capacity will never leave him really and that he will continue to use his considerable gifts with great success. We would not be surprised at anything this genial man does; he is an inspiration, with that unusual, perceptive talent, and he will have us galvanised to our small screens for years to come! Phillip Schofield

We do not expect anyone shouted “April Fool” when Phillip Schofield was born on the 1st April 1962. May be because he was such a lovely little babe, the kind you would have wanted to tickle under the chin. He brought a sense of warmth to the heart even then, and it was clear he was nobody’s fool, even when he was screaming for his night feed!  He is a positive Aries for a start, and when Aries is positive you can be sure most people around them will have fun. He is not prone to the usual egoism, the more negative style of that sun sign. The only slightly challenging factor is that he could be a bit stubborn, and stick his heels in. But the enthusiastic side will always win out, and find ways to de-stress rather than stress. In other words the TV presenter we all know and love is more than a good looking act, he is actually a sincerely nice guy.  

 

A gentle Mercury in Pisces will make him sensitive, romantic, bashful, yes bashful a quality he has striven to get over, and has more than succeeded. He will enjoy the showbiz side of presentation, the acting, the creativity; he would like to burst into song on a daily basis, dance across the Good Morning studio, even. Remember how he took over the role from Jason Donovan in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and how well his single “Close every Door” did? That was artistic Mr. Mercury in Pisces pushing him on to honed in self expression yet again! Anyway, he knew what he wanted from an early age, his destiny was earmarked. He wrote letter after letter to the BBC, getting his foot in the door as a bookings clerk to start off with!  Even moving with his family to New Zealand did not hold up his keen ambition, he was presenting a children’s programme, and working for Radio Haruaki before you could say “Jack Robinson!”  When the family returned to the UK, he was quickly diving in the deep end on Children’s TV, and after a few years moved up to his latest shows such as Dancing on Ice, and This Morning. 

 

It was always easy for this guy to integrate a good communication style into his presentation packet; some might classify that style bland, because it is so straight up and sincere. But make no mistake; a passionate Venus in Aries can spice it all up at a drop of a hat! As far as love is concerned, Phillip is passionate, he might like a little tension when it comes to deeper emotional expression, mainly to stimulate and inspire. A good argument to clear the air does not go amiss in his book, as long as it is all peace and joy afterwards; in fact there are few complexities that could mar this guy’s lifestyle. So let us lay his soul mission at the door of a warm Moon in Aquarius because she will encourage him to look at the bigger picture, and be a whole hearted humanitarian. He might not have seen a UFO, but he does have a closet take on life, and that “take” cares so much about the environment and the future of humanity, especially since he has two adored daughters and wants a better world for them!  Pluto in Virgo will make his concerns grow over the years. He will want to get down to base line good deeds. In fact Mr. Saturn will more than approve of his pupil’s simple, honest take, and will not torment him with the usual life challenges he meets out to the majority of humanity. Phillip will have a smooth life, with few glitches. His thought processes will always tend to be innovative and constructive, perhaps because he is a rather old soul. As the years go by we would be very surprised not to see Phillip moving on to intriguing show biz projects. He could even come out as a leader in some new area of broadcasting. You see, he cannot avoid being a focal point for the general public. Anyway, he has always been unafraid of marching through all obstacles to achieve his aims and over the next couple of years; those new aims will be many! He has all the wisdom he needs to consistently mature as a TV personality and human being. He is master of his own universe, and few of us could say that. Phillip has come to the end of a cycle, and is ready to pick up a new tab. We sense he will link to a wider, more international audience and could interview some rather “alternative personalities” on a new show. We will watch him with much attention; he is the kind of guy we like to smile back. Barack Obama

When Barack Obama walks into any room its occupants will sit up straight, adjust their ties, smooth down their lapels, and sigh with relief, because this is not only a man who talks business,  he is the first Black American President to sit in the Whitehouse. Yes, this awesome gentleman is far more than a myth in his own time; he is a standard bearer for change, carrying the legacy of “I had a dream” Martin Luther King, to the top of the proverbial mountain. His qualifications are stellar. He is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School. He worked as a community organiser in the city of Chicago, and a civil rights attorney in that same city. He did three terms in the Illinois Senate and ran for the United States Senate in 2004 being elected in November of that same year and running for presidency against Hilary Clinton. His Mars in Virgo would have gifted him with an almost inhuman capacity to reach for the highest goal, his eye consistently on the big picture. Something deep within his psyche pushes him on; perhaps his need to help humanity, to give of himself is always in the forefront of his mind. 

 

He was a community organiser in Chicago before earning his law degree, and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School. But above all, his presentation and persona were consistently charismatic, and he has now become an historic leader during one of the most transformational eras this planet has ever seen. Few of us will forget his victory over the Republican candidate John McCain, and the night he stood in front of the jubilant citizens of Chicago to tell them that “Change” had come to America. There was something magical in the air that night.  Obama’s grandmother, Madelyn Dunham^, had died on November 2, 2008 just days before his election as the President of the United States, and that news had caused great grief to him. Yet, as he stood in front of the people of Chicago that night, Destiny had touched his life forever. Indeed, there was something so inspirational about his persona, his speech, and the occasion, that street celebrations “happened” from Brighton to Botswana; we were all aware the world was about to shift to a new level. Barack Obama was born on the 4^th of August 1961 in Honolulu Hawaii.  

 

A Leo child of mixed race parentage, few would have realised he would become the magnanimous leader of the most powerful country in the world. Yet throughout his life he has retained the better qualities of the Leo sun sign, the open hearted attitudes, the inspirational perceptions and the generous demeanor. As an adult he stands erect, his strength honed in, his Taurus moon obstinacy encouraging him to push until he reaches all his goals, gifting him with inborn emotional strength and resiliance, plus a capacity to make the right decisions. Mercury in Leo would have kept him upbeat and positive when confronted with challenges. He would never have looked to others to fight his battles for him. His parents met in a Russian language class at the University of Hawaii and tied the knot in 1961; Barack was born later that same year. It would be a challenge for any mixed raced child to integrate, and the situation was no different for Obama,  but he was lucky, as he said, “The opportunity that Hawaii offered to experience a variety of cultures in a climate of mutual respect became an integral part of my world view and a basis for the values that I hold most dear”.

 

Like most college kids Obama experimented with drugs, but he judges himself harshly for this, all the same, positive lessons were learnt, and resulted in his humane perception of the challenges youth faces today. In June 1989, Obama met his soul mate Michelle Robinson at a Chicago law firm. His attraction was immediate, she was organised, well turned out, obviously a woman who dotted her I’s and dotted her T’s, and Obama’s Mars in Virgo likes things to be lined up perfectly. She turned him down when he asked her out on the first date. But she noted  there was something about the man, his fervent ideas, his obvious decency, his inspirational perceptions, not only was she fascinated but she soon fell deeply in love. They married in October 1992, and their first daughter Malian Ann was born in 1998, and little Natasha later in 2001. With that Venus in Cancer Obama would be a sensitive husband and doting father.  He needs a hard headed woman to be the power behind his throne, and Michelle is all of that and more. In any event domestic stability is his inspiration, and Venus in Cancer would gift him with the loving strength of a united family to light his way.

 

Michelle and Obama respect each other, and notice the little things that mean a lot. In fact, Michelle not only supports, but has become part of Obama’s vision. She might not be aware his Jupiter is in Aquarius and that it will make him one of the most inspiring leaders many generations have seen, but she senses it. In fact that bountiful planet will encourage him to stretch across barricades with motivational oratory, sustaining humanity’s higher purpose and encouraging those who have lost hope, even in their dreams. Obama’s mother died of ovarian cancer, and could not be there to see her son touch the stars. She taught him compassion when she died without the money to pay for health care. Perhaps it was then Obama decided to do everything he could to help the disadvantaged. From a spiritual perspective, his Sun Sign is guiding him to fulfill his mission on planet earth. This means great personal sacrifice; he cannot but listen to his calling though. Throughout 2009 we will see him opening out channels of communication with international leaders. His intention is to find ways of guiding this planet into a new era. Whether he fails or succeeds will depend not only on him, but the citizens of the world. If we agree to his “Yes We Can!” we will, indeed, and discover a new and better way of living our lives in the process!

David Beckham

David Beckham is an earth bound being. Maybe because he is a Taurus. In fact, he is in his element with both feet planted firmly on the football pitch, preferably kicking a ball around. In fact, he wanted to kick a ball around from a very early age. Probably when he first popped into the world at Whipps Cross University Hospital in Leytonstone. We are convinced that as a tiny babe he knew he had a singular destiny, and that it had been assigned to him by “the forces that be”. They advised, “David remember to say “I want to be a footballer!” when people ask what you want to do when you grow up!” And he did, to the consternation of his teachers, and childhood buddies. David has the carriage of a man with a mission. Handsome, sincere, straight on, matter of fact, he is totally focused on fulfilling his calling; His background is not as “straight on” as one would believe.

 

David identifies with his maternal grandmother’s Jewish religion; he is a sincerely spiritual man. In his book “Both Feet on the Ground”, he describes Sundays in church with his family, and yet how his calling was to follow the Jewish religion. His parents were fanatical Manchester United supporters who would frequently travel to Old Trafford with little David in toe. In fact, it seemed as if everything that happened to David would lead him to his ultimate destiny, to become one of the most talented sportsmen in the western world.  As a kid he got to go to Bobby Charlton’s football school, a good start for a budding talent. But his launch into the professional stratosphere kicked off when he joined Manchester United. He did not look back from there. Sure he has had ups and downs on the way, but he is a solid, practical man, and always knew how to handle challenges, whether they meant being sent off the field for a foul, having a very public fall out with Sir Alex Ferguson, or suffering severe abuse from British fans.

 

His moon in Capricorn will always protect him from a hostile world, even though he might seem detached, unassailable, not given to stoking the fires of conflict. His key word is equanimity; he would not like anyone to see how he has been affected by aggressive fans, and unjust criticism. Mr.Mercury in Taurus will keep him focused on the here and now, never wavering, his concentration equally focussed on taking on a free kick or filling in his tax return. Mohamed Al-Fayed, also known as “the Phony Pharaoh” is an intriguing mix match of fame and infamy. Born under sun sign Aquarius, right from the start Mohamed, nicknamed Dodi, knew he would be “as rich as Midas”. He had seen his school teacher father struggle to bring up a large family, when he was kid in Egypt, and Mohamed wanted more from life. He dreamt of building a pyramid to fame and fortune, and unbeknown to him, every brick would be supported by pragmatic Mercury in Capricorn. He knew he would succeed when he sold soft drinks and worked as a sewing machine salesman and he was right! Eventually he would forge his way up the ladder to personal power and a multimillion dollar empire. Kismet, Destiny, Fate, call it what you will, showered his life path with lucky breaks and useful connections.

 

The fact is he had the right methodology, the astute vision of a master planner, and a nose for a great deal. A superb Mars in Virgo added on astounding creative energy, and his Aquarian sun encouraged a visionary perception of what was possible. Add this to an Aquarian moon gifting him with a shrewd awareness of human weakness, plus a capacity to manage resources efficiently, and the road would be free of obstacles. When he was still struggling to make a name for himself, logical Venus in Capricorn encouraged him to marry Samira Kashoggi whose brother, the arms dealer Adnan, got him into the Saudi Arabian export business. By the way, Mohamed’s rather passionless Venus does not usually nurture dreams of romantic love. He arrived in Europe in the seventies, subsequently bought the Hotel Ritz in Paris, restored it and in the process was made a Chevalier of The Legion of Honour. He creamed his cake by buying the House of Fraser in London, and of course that included the mythic Knightsbridge store Harrods. But a feud resulted with Toland Rowland, who had also wanted to purchase Harrods at the time, accusations followed with subsequent feuding.  Scandal followed scandal, and Jonathan Aitken, Neil Hamilton and Tim Smith were all said to have been involved in the shenanigans. Perhaps as a result of the uproar, Dodi’s request for UK citizenship would be relentlessly turned down; he was considered of doubtful character. Notwithstanding he soldiered on, Jupiter in Virgo knowing that his mission was worthwhile, that if he continued to push he would reach the top of the pyramid and clinch the ultimate deal, British Citizenship. He felt the United Kingdom was his home, and there was little that would deter him from battling for his place amidst the “movers and shakers” But then the fates fell on his head, with the loss of his beloved son Dodi, and Princess Diana in that historic Parisian car crash.

 

The horror of it would affect him forever, Dodi has never accepted what happened and like the hero of a Greek tragedy, he gives credence to Saturn the taskmaster who makes him aware that terrible challenges are part of human existence. Yet Saturn also pushes Dodi on, encouraging him to seek answers to what is inexplicable. His search for justice resulted in accusations of his turning the Inquest “into a circus”. But for Dodi, it is natural to doubt the “powers that be” he is more than aware of the dangers of corruption, and his Aquarian moon had always warned him to be on the lookout for human frailties. Dodi will never trust anyone. Perhaps because deep within him, he knows the lengths a man could go to get what he wants! So he faced down Princes Charles and Phillip, accusing them of being responsible for the accident. His repetitive questioning became a “cause célèbre”. In any event, Pluto in Cancer tends to make him paranoid about his and his family’s safety. Sadly, none of his money, power and social clout can stop the workings of fate, a fate that had been his friend and guided him to untold riches!

 

In truth, Dodi is a master of life’s ceremonies, in the good and in the bad. Nothing can detract from his deep resolve, his capacity to shoulder immense responsibilities. He is not to be underestimated, for his perceptions are honed in, his wisdom astoundingly perceptive. Yet his mind leads him to great suffering, due to his incapacity to believe in the fundamental goodness of the human race. A goodness his sun sign Aquarius would encourage him to recognise, yet his karma and diverse planetary positioning, block him from experiencing. David Gonzalez Giraldo

David Gonzalez Giraldo was born in the sign of Cancer on July 20 1982; and the phrase “handsome is as handsome does” could only apply to him. This is a kid with a future, his powerful 6ft four inches frame making him one genial goalkeeper for his Club Atletico Huracan, Argentina. His Jupiter in Scorpio will have gifted him with a refined skill on the field; he will be able to rise to the occasion magnificently, almost every time. Okay folks; fasten your seat belts because this astro profile will be all about that dude Independent on Sunday voted the 41^st most influential gay in the United Kingdom. Why? Because he is so darned hilarious, and yes, because he is an Aries. The debonair DJ, Radio Presenter Scott Mill’s main aim it to entertain his audience, even to the extent of receiving electric shocks during a daft yes/no question and answer spiel on his show. Why? Well he cares about his public, he wants them roaring with laughter. A dynamic Mars will make him your social butterfly, flying from flower to proverbial flower, in his element when surrounded by an original team of people. He probably wanted to be famous from an early age. He has always been dynamic, his energy of “human dynamo” status. He is a ball of pure chutzpah, of creative and dedicated talent.  His daily shenanigans on the Scott Mills Show have us mesmerized. He began “walking his talk” early, at the age of 16 on a local Hampshire radio station. Back in those Hampshire days he was offered a late night slot, and became so popular he quickly moved on to main stream entertainment. 

 

Currently, he struts his stuff with great aplomb, and we continue to fall about laughing. Many of us followed his rise to fame, and were delighted when he joined the BBC Radio 1 team to present The Early Breakfast Show. He continued to move up, covering Sara Cox’s slot when she was on maternity leave, and basically he has never looked back. His Mars in imaginative Pisces will make sure those original pranks, and strange, almost out of body perceptions on life are original. Another of his successful personas is that of the actor, he was caught playing a reporter on Casualty and a politician in Hollyoaks! But again with that Mars in cheeky Gemini, he will be more prone to being a prankster, attempting to kiss wild animals or calling computer help lines with absurd takes on Information Technology. His very own Scott Mills Show opens up “alla Monty Python” with that momentous catch phrase “It’s only bley Friday”, screamed at high voltage, classical music playing in the background. 

 

We cannot fail to want him around as we gulp down our coffee, and stagger out the door, to face yet another day of credit crunches; he cheers us up. As we said, he is an Aries and that fiery sign can have a rather idiotic view of reality, in fact without idiocy our friend would simply collapse into a heap. But surprise, surprise his realistic Moon in Taurus will ensure this chap is down to earth; on a personal level you might discover he is one of the most grounded guys you could ever hope to meet. He can cut through to the root of a problem, analyze the difficult bits, and resolve them all in about ten seconds flat. His thoughts vibrate fast, again Mercury’s fault. He intuitively knows what his audience wants and since he does not believe in procrastinating he gives it to them, and very efficiently too. He has always realised that pressing the laughter button would take him far.

As dedicated as he is to his act, he is not immune to the odd adventure. As far as those personal emotions are concerned, he will be inclined to have a detached perspective of lurve. He does not want to dig too deep, or hit the “passion” button too fast,  if he did, his energy might become dispersive, and he needs to concentrate on his career above all else. Luke Marsden

Above and beyond his popularity on Big Brother, if you would have told the cute, usually suit clad, Luke Marsden a while back that he would be so successful he would have cheered, for at least one of his dreams had finally come true! He was a sweet kid, rather introverted at times. Any teasing would have had him turn gloomy, the fault of sun in Cancer making him one of the ultra sensitive brigade! On his Big Brother interview, he said women thought he was gay, and that he was probably bad in bed. Very endearing statement which got him loads of fans. On that occasion sensitive Cancer was eclipsed by a very Aries moon, a moon that knew what it was doing and got him on the show. Those moon vibes will continue to push that contrast button, and show him up as a full on, go-getting laugh a minute in complete contrast to his rather prim, self confessed virginal demeanor. Such a laugh in fact, that his bizarre antics have us falling about, and let’s face it everyone adores a fun guy.

His reports on wrestling, one of his prime interests, put him on the front page originally. He has a nose for getting noticed. Be not surprised to see him start up a skew ball rap session, yet another ruse to catch our attention, in fact we can expect anything from one moment to the next. Girlfriends will come and go but Luke’s leadership genes and fidgety attitudes will stay, making him a surprising winner. A geeky guy with a Hulk sub personality, he plays Jimi Hendrix guitar to millions of adoring fans… in his fantasies. Yes, as we said, he does dream. Okay some might scoff at his speedy new found fame, yet do not underestimate Luke Marsden. 

His Saggy ascendant will teach him big bucks can come and go, but he will never allow fame to color his values. He will learn to ignore those who judge him by standing up to his own emotional reactions, cultivating that empathic personality and delighting his audience. His Saggy ascendant will make him consistently bright, able to read a situation fast and analyse which corner to turn next. Paul Burrell

“They seek him here, they seek him, they seek him everywhere, is he in heaven, is he in hell, that darned elusive Pimpernel!”  Paul Burrell is not exactly the Scarlet Pimpernel of “18th century novel” fame, but he is an elusive, try as we might we have a hard time understanding him.  He is also a contradiction in terms, on the ball, yet a dreamer, realist yet an incurable romantic. The fact is, he is ready to divulge his truth about what was really going on behind the walls of Buckingham Palace on a daily basis. Let us remember he was a member of the Royal Household for many years, first a footman to Queen Elizabeth, and then Butler to Lady Diana.  Mr. Burrell is a Gemini,   he would have to be, and no other sign could rustle up such complex perceptions of reality, such an intricate view of Royal “goings-on!” Be that as it may, Mr. Burrell does have an “unconscious” tendency to embellish. He is totally sincere in his assertions though; the moon in Aquarius would make him say what he does for the good of humanity. After all, Diana was our “Princess of Hearts” and we loved her deeply, cosmically. Many of us still wonder how she met her death! So Mr. Burrell will continue to add fuel to flames, he just cannot help himself.  Like Diana, he also has a firm faith in those significant cosmic forces working behind the scenes, forces that have touched his life on a mythical level. Neptune in Scorpio would gift him this perception, but also his “I am on a mission” stance, and the firm belief that his “truth” is his “destiny”. He was “meant” to know the princess, and to present an alternative picture of her, a truer picture than that of the mainstream press. 

Mercury in Gemini will continue to keep his vision expansive, with a tendency to miss out on any realistic elements to this enigma, hence some of his wilder assertions during the 2008 inquest. His later comment that he had thrown “a few red herrings” whilst on the stand is to do with his north node in Scorpio, which we will explain further down the page. But this does not deviate from the fact that Mr. Burrell’s statements hit the proverbial “nail on the head”, and made the Establishment quake in its boots. After all he is the owner of a letter written to him by Diana stating that she was certain Prince Charles was arranging to get her assassinated in a car accident, so he could marry Tiggy Legge-Bourke!

Mars in Pisces will encourage Mr. Burrell to stand by his assertions yet continue to be evasive, casting doubt over Princess Di’s love interests at every opportunity. His statement that she never loved Dodi Fayed, and wanted to marry Dr Hasnat Khan cannot be contradicted by anyone, because he is the sole recipient of these facts.  So we will all have come to our “own” conclusions, a clear result of the melodramatic picture he has painted around his own relationship with the Princess. He was her prime confidante and knew what was going on, and yet he did not divulge what it was, even to the Coroner’s Court. With that Venus in Taurus Mr. Burrell seeks security in his intimate relationships strangely enough; this would make him appear reserved. It is likely he felt for Diana, yet that fondness was protective, he truly loves his wife.  Now he has become your average TV personality, with appearances in reality shows such as “I am a celebrity, get me out of here!”

Jupiter in Libra would make him want to go on expanding his profile even more, his aim is to become beloved by the great British public.  He would like us all to see another side to him, the less angst ridden side, the fun, “let’s have a joke” side. Mars in Pisces will make him a bit of a charmer; refined, sensitive, the kind of guy who “feels” with his heart. His emotional attachment to Diana and his grief at her loss could have pushed him to the edge. He certainly maintains that Gemini, Dr Jekyll/Mr. Hyde tendency, so you never know what to expect! Yet all those complex thinking processes, all these astrological planetary placements do not give us the answer to the secret Mr. Burrell shared with Diana. It was a secret so deep, only the two of them knew it, and one that he will carry to his grave.

Now, as referred to above, let us return to Mr. Burrell’s north node in Scorpio; it makes him the classic “cosmic message bearer”, casting doubt on our “assumptions” of reality, and the truth of the “powers that be”. It helps us to notice that all is not quite as it appears. That we might be living in a sort of “Matrix,” that only the “chosen few”, such as Mr. Burrell, are aware of.  So there we have it, that is Mr. Burrell’s true mission, a mission to make us think; help us ask questions about the proverbial “powers behind the throne”, and the status quo of what appears to be truth, and might not be! He has to some extent succeeded.
 
This year it is likely that Mr. Burrell will move residence, and start making considerable changes to his social status. He will make new contacts that could help him in his media career; yet he will also feel closer to his kith and kin, and unite with good friends on his time off. Mr. Burrell is a true riddle; he will continue to fascinate us for years to come!  We wonder if he fascinates himself as much as he does us, our feeling is that he is enthralled!

Richard Bacon

Richard Bacon is the kind of guy one would have had a massive crush on at high school, I mean he was so handsome as a kid, and still is, and such a catch with that refined, middle class upbringing. His Dad is a solicitor, his mum Governor of his ex primary school, a more respectable mainstream background a man could not have… and yet this is the guy who charmed the British public on Blue Peter, and shocked them when he was caught sniffing coke. The case caused a furor, and he was immediately and loudly sacked. But, notwithstanding all that finger pointing, all that scandal this guy is a survivor whose good looks and utter charm won through and convinced the world that the drug incident was but youthful folly. He is now a well-respected TV personality and certainly has us galvanized when he preens the screen with that effervescent charisma and sexy vibe.  

Blame his charm on Sun and Mercury in Sagittarius, Mr. Sagg is inclined to shower beneficial vibes on those born under his friendly rays, and our mate Richard is no exception to this rule. Add communicative Mercury, also in Saggy, and we have an openhearted approach coupled with a tendency to have people eating out of his hand in five minutes flat; it is amazing to see actually. May be his moon in Libra has something to do with his popularity. It will make his physical demeanor harmonious, and he will pull the ladies like bees to honey. His heart is open, even if somewhat resistance to commitment. He is married to Rebecca McFarlane, but we sense previous to this loving relationship he had a rather difficult emotional experience, that could have been karmic and might have caused him some pain.

Venus in Libra will make him look for harmonious ways in his partners, they would need to mix and match to his rhythm, to dance to the same tune. He does not go for loud-mouthed asides and foot stamping, he needs peace, and would want his environment to be ordered and harmonious, Feng Shui would do him fine, and a beautiful lady smiling at him more often than not also. But be aware that no matter how much Mr. Sag has blessed our hero, he does possess a rather off beat tendency to put his foot in it. Frankly, he might need to curb his patter now and then! He was noted for dropping a famous clanger when presenting Top of the Pops. He quipped about a band as being a “big, fat melting pot of talent”, Ouch! But above and beyond his occasional foray into controversy, he has done well hosting The Big Breakfast, Back to Reality and presenting radio shows on BBC and Capital FM. Please be aware Mr. Bacon is not just a pretty face, Mars in Gemini will have made him down as an ambitious go getter, using that overwhelming charm to cut to the chase. In fact he has an energy overload going on, he is active and proactive, chatty and charismatic, and he can keep going for hours with quick repartee and a laugh and a joke.  

He is crushed if someone criticises his stance though, and could be prone to sulking in a corner at the drop of a hat! But he is not one to nurture resentment; he moves out of bad vibe scenarios pretty quick since “glum” is not good for publicity. But our friend needs to understand that he will always be safe, and he will never be in rags, living in a box somewhere.  He just has to cultivate a deep faith, knowing that he will always be protected by a loving guardian angel, who has his best interests at heart. This year sees him discovering true meaning to existence; he will be starting a new cycle, so some aspects of his present lifestyle could be coming to a close.  No matter how hard this, be rest assured he will win thru and find himself in more up beat situations in 2010.  He will also feel a need for freedom of expression, not only in his career but also in his personal relationships. Simon Cowell

Okay, folks lock up over sensitive daughters, or at least stop them from participating in any talent shows when Mr. Simon Cowell is in town. This is a guy known for his drastic feedback, the kind that has contestants squirming. He was born on the 7 October 1959, the number seven making him an old soul, a wise kind of guy who is unafraid to say his piece. His origins were not that unusual, other than the fact his mother was a ballet dancer, which could have added an interesting show biz gene to his persona. He did not particularly excel at school, and it was his father who got him a job in the mailroom of EMI. Simon worked his way up through the ranks, his comments rattling cages even then! He did well in music publishing and the recording industry slowly making his mark. But as we know, he really hit the big time as a judge on Pop Idol in the UK, and American Idol in the USA. Few escaped those scathing wise cracks. Yet the strange fact is that this man still shines.

Moon in Saggy is responsible for all that polish, even though he is certainly not “movie star” handsome. Nonetheless, there is something mysteriously charismatic about the fellow. No matter our protestations, we like to watch Mr. Cowell being ruthlessly honest, his Libran scales tipping scarily as he tells it “how it is”. Yet would it surprise you to learn that this man is Mr. Sensitive behind the scenes? ”Nah” we hear you cry, “that guy sensitive, pull the other one!” He seems so hard hearted, but be aware his concern for the young is sincere. He is involved in children’s hospices and visits sick children whenever he has time. There is a humane bloke hiding behind the “ogre” mask, the kind whose life is centered on friends and family whom he prefers perfectly attired without a hair out of place. Who cares if his American audience boos him before he even opens his mouth! Who cares if he sends us into paroxysm of irritation?  No matter how mean he appears, in his book it is for one reason only, he dislikes a bad performance. He just cannot do “noisy” or “jangling” it has him longing for a spa holiday! A lousy act goes against his Libran addiction to harmony and well turned out folks. 

Dreadlocks, tattoos, or an appalling sense of style are not for him. Be aware, Simon is willing to give his all yet when things get super stressed, he will speed off to some isolated beach, and scowl at anyone asking him for an autograph. He loves to travel his Jupiter in Sagittarius appreciates the exotic, the larger than life.  But it is his north node in Libra that makes things somewhat difficult. He needs to learn to pace his competitive nature, to step back from a pushy approach. As kind hearted as he is his mind set can be a challenge. He does hurt feelings, because he has a hard time identifying with his own. Sometimes he lets a seemingly hard-bitten standpoint eclipse more loving ways, and this makes him appear hostile and unkind. His break up with his long-term girlfriend Terri Seymour could have been caused by his incapacity to identify with her distress at his perceived betrayal, he just could not see her point of view. 

He is inclined to turn in on himself in moments of emotional crisis, wanting to spend time alone. In fact as he judges others, he is prone to judge himself. His life lesson is to reach out, and build bridges. Deep down, he is a sensitive guy, not that hard-bitten critic we all know and love. Yet his positively placed sun sign will always come to his rescue, and give him a nose for a great new business deal, a capacity to suss out any situation and make it work for him. He has a highly developed mind, and uses logic to his advantage. As long as he cottons on that it is best not to get stuck into hardhearted obstinacy when it comes to “lurve”, keeping his soul free of resentment, he will do better emotionally.
He needs to confront his need for fulfillment, and 2009 shows up as a year he could do just that. A relationship will become very important to him. He might want to go deeper, commit totally. Simon Cowell is maturing perhaps remembering he is indeed a very old soul, a soul that has incarnated on planet earth so many times it is not that difficult to “cut to the chase!” and life his life up to a new and even more inspiring level. Good luck Simon, you are earmarked to grow in stature, whether you like it or not!

Keith Chegwin

There are many sides to lovable Keith Chegwin but the principle note is full on loud, somewhat quirky, and 100 percent original. More than a comic sidekick, more than an original bright spark and ex child actor, he is a complex guy, with that “Capricorn Sun, Leo Moon” thing going on. His past alcoholism could have been affected by challenging astro combinations, during a time when he was temporarily lost from view in the eighties and nineties. He might have been rather negative, and prone to thinking things would never work out how he wanted them to then, with moments of down heartedness. But his honest and openhearted book “Shaken but not Stirred” a moving account of his battle to overcome addiction has inspired many. He is of course a natural leader. Make no mistake, as funny as Keith is he is a serious dude, someone who sits in the hot seat with authority. Mercury in Capricorn will make his capacities to build a show biz career genial.  He emanates self-assurance, stands his ground, takes no nonsense, knows his limits and realises what buttons he has to press to entertain his public. He also stands by his word, and of course is well liked by his show biz colleagues.

He is, in short “a chip off the old block!” a really good guy dedicated to his profession. His rather airhead act, has us laughing in the aisles as a result.  But that act is built with intelligence, compassion, an understanding of human emotions and behavior.  He can inspire others when need be, he can carry the load when asked to. He is a good friend to a mate in dire straits. His early roles were in children’s drama and he later hit the proverbial mark when he was caste as Fleance in Roman Polanski’s Macbeth. He has participated in Dad’s Army; performed in the West End in Tom Brown’s School Days, released some fun records, and did long time stints as a BBC disc jockey. He became big time popular presenting Cheggars Plays Pop and Saturday Superstore. He does have some Renaissance man tendencies, perhaps because he is able to communicate to the heart of his public so multifariously. He endears himself to us, with that  “chip monk cum pixie” look, so absolutely cuddly and gorgeous, making us giggle at his show biz acting out. 

Frankly people do not always know what to expect when it comes to Keith!  He is a law unto himself. That old phrase “if he did not exist someone would have to invent him” comes to mind!  Venus in Capricorn would have affected his private life somewhat; it would make him rather olde worlde when it comes to romance! He would want a girl friend he can play darts with, or drink down the pub, and fully supports his mission on planet earth. He might find expressing his deeper feelings difficult at times; the words he yearns to say sometimes do not come out exactly how he means them to. But he is a loving man. He married in 1982, and is father to a lovely daughter Rose, but that marriage broke up and he later tied another knot with his long time partner Maria, a woman in her own right, he likes that, he likes a girl to be independent and self aware. Theirs would be a partnership of trust, because Keith needs solid ground under his feet when it comes to the emotional side of life. But what does our Keith need to learn during his time on this earth? Well, let us say he needs to be a tad less independent, an independence he learnt as a young actor. Standing up to his fears back then, forced him to get a grip on the material world and fight to overcome his challenges.
He knows all about standing alone, and facing his inner issues, with the resulting heroic conquest of his addiction to alcohol. This is a truly interesting man, so much more than meets the eye. But there is a secret about Keith Chegwin, one that he will have realised not so long ago. This man is blessed. Mr. Jupiter, the planet of Luck and Bounty took a fancy to him when he came kicking and screaming into the world and said, this is a guy who deserves success! So good old Mr. Jupiter gifted him with a kind soul, with a creative personality and with a sincere need to contribute to this world. All our Keith has to do now is watch over his sometimes emotionally restless bent, and when he is tired a tendency to be rather sad.  But let us say his main mission is to reconnect to that beautiful child actor he was long ago, and realise how far he has come! Go for it Keith, you have happy years ahead!

Jonathan Ross

Jonathan Ross, brash dude of the endearing lisp, the guy who entertains us, shocks us, stimulates us and has us glued to the small screen, could be classified as one big bluff. Why? Well he is a Scorpio, and virtually all his “still waters” run deep. Add to the equation a positive Mercury, also in Scorpio, and we have a wise cracking, nervy guy, liable to say what he means, unafraid to push the boat out, ready to face the music, no matter how drastic it might be. His memory is borderline genial, his imagination picturesque, his creativity high voltage. This is a Renaissance man, a man we love because of his astute entertaining style, his trendy film critic persona, and the rackets he creates to entertain us all. Little do we know that when he goes home, he hangs up his showbiz hat, and morphs into an adoring husband.
His background is fairly middle class Leytonstone, but unusual in that his mother was a TV presenter and his father a journalist. He has inherited their “out there” genes, which enable him to come up to his own particular plate, create an innovative, and strictly personal style. As we inferred above, a loving Venus in Capricorn shows us even more clearly that this is a man who nurtures powerful emotions for his family.  His wife Jane Goldman is his rock. He made sure he picked the right girl, he was discriminating. It took him some time, often humming and haha-ing until the choice was made. His three adored children are protected with zeal by the Jonathan Ross publicity Machine. You see, that north node in Virgo walks arm in arm with Mars in Cancer ensuring those he adores are number one on his list of things to do. He takes time out with his hobbies and close friendships one of his mates is Ricky Gervais, who shares his enjoyment of David Bowie CDs; Bowie is Jonathan’s hero, like Jonathan Bowie is a sort of ET, a “Man who Fell to Earth” with a graceful bump, just like Jonathan. Bowie yearned to stimulate his public to reach out to alternatives visions, so does Jonathan, in his own way. 
Yet, for all his eccentricities, Jonathan is a rock to his friends, someone they can drop in and chat to any time, especially when they need reassurance and support. His clique is dependable, he trusts his mates with his life. So easy going is he, that at times they forget Jonathan is a dude of huge comedic talent a thrice BAFTA award winner, a man who has worked closely with the BBC and still does, even after a recent hullabaloo on the Russell Brand Show. Jonathan was suspended due to lurid phone messages left on the actor, Andrew Sach’s, answer phone during the show. The affair caused a public uproar, yet the fact is Jonathan always leaps back into the hot seat, simply because he pulls in the punters. His public adores his tumultuous interviewing style, those brash comments, with the ensuing backlash.  He panned Heather Mills, after the McCarthy divorce, inferring she had probably “two healthy legs” He joked at the British Comedy awards that his salary was worth 1,000 BBC journalists. This misplaced comment brought down the wrath of the National Union of Journalists on his head. Nonetheless, he marches on, unperturbed, that Scorpio strength of character gifting him with enough chutzpah to be apologetic, and yet stand by his controversial entertaining stance. 
He has now returned to TV with a new series of “Friday Nights with Jonathan Ross”, interviewing folks like Tom Cruise and Stephen Fry, creating that high level entertaining vibe all around him. But it is entirely logical that Jonathan is a success, his Jupiter in Capricorn has built him a baseline structure he can stand on safely to touch the stars. His Capricorn placement will always encourage him to build a grounded network for himself and his family, yet he will still cultivate that original hubbub so necessary to his success. Jonathan is more than an intelligent show biz celebrity, he is shrewd. He knows what his audience wants, and he gives it to them. His kitschy dress sense, his “Matrix-style” persona wakes us all up, stimulating reactions to his high wire act of smart repartee, and elegant presentation.
Notwithstanding all the recent hullabaloo, Jonathan can expect a truly entertaining 2010.  He will become all the more fascinating, trendy, be the person people turn to, to laugh at themselves, to enjoy their celebrity-dom, their originality.  His fans will cheer him on, for he has achieved a rich reputation, his popularity rising as the months pass.   If Jonathan were a cowboy he would be riding off into the sunrise, having won his battle with the Indians, the bad boys, with everyone. Keep going Jonathan, we are cheering you on!

Prince Charles

Each year Prince Charles participates in number of charitable projects, he works through his papers in the mornings, talks to his advisers, often starting work from Clarence House. Then off he trots, to strive in his own unique way for humanity.  He was born under the sign of Scorpio, a decent man, who wishes the best for the British people, but at times has some challenges standing up to the constant pressure of being a Royal. His marriage to Diana, and his affair with Camilla were consistently in the public eye, and he has been judged as no other royal regarding his taste in women, and personal behavior. Notwithstanding, the pain and grief of losing Diana, and those accusations that he was responsible for her death, he still works for the future with some optimism, building on his strong relationship with Camilla and the many issues that interest him.

The Prince’s Trust, one of his pet projects, encourages youngsters from difficult backgrounds to push for their dreams.  Another of his concerns is climate change, and how it affects humanity, deteriorating the quality of life for us all, and throwing the planet into future chaos. He believes his work is sensiblising the public, helping them to realise they can go “Green”, and hold back a possible global catastrophe. Consider that Charles attends approximately 200 public engagements per year, obviously a man who wants to be of use.  One of his other pet themes is deforestation, especially of the Amazon. He gives speeches on the subject, distributes pamphlets and reports. He is an intelligent man, he realises the Royal Family no longer retains its past standing, and that when King he will need to build on a new style of rule. Charles was born on the 14th November 1948; a Scorpio to the core, yet above and beyond this sign’s tendency to possess hidden, deep-seated feelings, his royal childhood was responsible for blocking down many of his emotions.

As future King of England, he knew he had to have control over excessive sentiment, but being such a thin-skinned young man, it must have been hard to work through those teenage years at Gordonstoun, a traditional public school where he boarded. He is said to have hated life there, his touchy nature violated by strict rules and deprivations. The system failed to toughen or enlighten, it probably made him even more aware of the extreme nature of feelings. He called it “Colditz in Kilts”. As a young man he liked to have his finger on the pulse, Venus in Gemini inspiring him to social activities, and being an avid fan of The Goon Show, a 1950’s radio comedy staring Peter Sellers. He dated extensively at that time, but few ladies were suitable to become the future Queen of England. His dates included Fiona Watson, a Penthouse model; the actress Susan George, Lady Sarah Spencer, Diana’s sister, Princess Marie Astrid of Luxembourg, Janet Jenkins; and Jane Ward. They were all fun, but not his soul mate.

His soul mate was Camilla, it always had been, and he could not change that fact, as much as he might have wanted to. Louis Mountbatten of Burma, known as his beloved Uncle Dickie, wrote to Charles saying: “In a case like yours, the man should sow his wild oats and have as many affairs as he can before settling down, but for a wife he should choose a suitable, attractive, and sweet-charactered girl before she has met anyone else she might fall for… ” But Charles was not one to splurge his emotions, and remained a bit of a dark, Scorpio horse where intimacy was concerned. He wanted to retain a sense of dignity, but it has to be said the violation of his privacy as a human being can be considered horrific, especially when a British Newspaper intercepted a very private call he was having with Camilla. His inner world had clashed with his outer world. As a result he trusts few. His challenging relationship with Diana was kept under wraps for months, in his view, Diana lost control, and as she started to talk about her marital distress publicly, Charles washed his hands of her. Yet it was not easy either, his moon in Aries could have been overbearing, could have upset Diana. His Venus in Gemini needs mental stimulation, but not consistent stress. He grew bored, exhausted with the marriage, wanting maturity from Diana, yearning for a more motherly figure, rather than an inexperienced young girl, who people liked just because, in his view, she was pretty. Some said he was jealous of her popularity, but the fact was he did not understand it.

Their breakup was inevitably blamed on Charles’ affair with Camilla Parker Bowles, and did not endear him to the general public. Mercury in Scorpio can make him cynical, sometimes indifferent and dismissive. He pretends excellence from others, and will pick up on weakness till a person becomes excluded from his circle.  He will sense those around him, being extremely intuitive, yet he is unable to analyse situations objectively, and sometimes offends as a result. His north node in Gemini will attract him to philosophical matters. Sir Laurens van der Post was a guru to Prince Charles, and fanned Charles’s interest in New Age philosophy and Kabbalistic art. Charles will be going through a crisis this year, there is a sense of change around the Royal Family, issues to stand up to, some of the testing and arduous.  From his birthday onwards he will become surer of himself again, overcoming most of the challenges.

A strong Mercurial influence has made him insecure of his emotional choices in the past, but his connection to Camilla will continue to grow, through some quite normal ups and downs.  There is a karmic play out between them, and he will stand by Camilla s she might find herself challenged. Jean Paul Gaultier

“The Drama Queen of the Fashion World?” “A Genius”, “A Menisci” certainly an “Enfant Terrible”, born under the sun sign Taurus, Jean Paul Gaultier, has his finger on the fashion pulse, his designs are still revolutionary, sometimes radical, devastatingly stylish but not to everyone’s taste. Remember the sculptured bra Madonna wore on her Blond Ambition tour, and those outfits on the KYLIE 2008 tour?  His unconventional models shocked in the eighties and nineties, those older men, those voluptuous women, those dudes in Kilts, those chunky body shaped perfume bottles, that long skirted coat worn by Keanu Reeves, even Beck’s sarong.

Born in Paris, he never received any formal fashion training he was naturally genial, and Pierre Cardin was more than impressed by Jean Paul’s first scribbled drawings.  Jean Paul’s childhood shows as fairly French bourgeoisie in origin, but his need to break down fashion sound barriers was borderline phobic. His sun in Taurus, with an Aries flavoured moon, shows him prone to sudden rages that fade just as quickly. He can seem buttoned down, consistently on edge on the cutting table, yet his suave, humorous side emerges delightfully at interviews and fashion shows. Add on Mercury, also in Aries, and Jean Paul can be addictive company, his skew-whiff perceptions more than mildly entertaining. But his wit will never be a total cover up for the passion ruling his intimate relationships, he can be extreme, with Mars in Scorpio, obsessive even, all consuming, more than exciting, with moments of sheer emotional “cut off” as he retires within to find his own space.

His Venus in Aries will make him fall in love at first sight. He lost his adored partner Francis Menuge, to Aids and it shook him to the core.  He continues to yearn for deep love that inspires his craft and his soul. But he is inclined to remain single unless he finds what his heart wants; half-baked love is not for Jean Paul. With his Venus placement he does not only see, he feels the beauty and ugliness of life around him.   He is visionary in his perceptions. The name of some of his perfumes “Le Fleur du mal” literally translated “Flowers of Evil!” or the popular woman’s perfume “Fragile” reflect his desire to interpret the truth of the human condition, what is really going on behind the scenes, because to Jean Paul fashion must be a mould breaker.

Again, Mr. Mars in Scorpio is responsible for his high profile. It pushes him forwards compulsively, sometimes to work incessantly, with a dynamic high energy channeling through him. Nothing can hold him back, and if anyone tries to he can show a ruthless side, and something akin to fury. Jean Paul is a complex outburst of a man, enthusiastic, delightful, and fascinating. With Venus’s rays shinning all around him his yearning for freedom, and his frustration with imprisoning, materialistic takes of our society today, new style barriers will fall down as he sets even more controversial goals in the years to come. Paul Daniels

“You’ll like this, not a lot, but you will like it!” Mr. Daniel’s catchphrase could be symbolic of his attitude to life, rather skeptical, sometimes controversial, definitely inspiring and without a doubt magical! Paul Daniels could be described as a stubborn Aries, a mix match of contradictions, and one of the most gifted entertainers of our times. Nowadays he might not breathe, eat and sleep magic like he did when he was a young magician touring the circuits, but he is certainly a “Mago” par excellence. Magic is the very core of him, part and parcel of his DNA.He was not born with that proverbial “silver spoon in his mouth”, his beginning was modest, yet his existence literally overflows with life transforming events, perhaps because a friendly destiny guides him to the big time over and over again! In fact, he was awarded Magician of the Year by the Hollywood Academy of Magical Arts in 1983 and the prestigious Golden Rose of Montreaux in 1985. Clearly working his way up from those humble origins has made him an archetypical success story! 

These days he has also become a controversial figure that some either love or hate, he speaks his mind until we cringe in our seats. With that cheeky moon in Gemini he likes to tease, yet he makes friends easily, friends with whom he bounces off inspiring plans and visions. His tendency to put his proverbial foot in it though, does not endear him to everyone, especially Cilla Black and Anne Robinson, whom he is said to loathe. But once his mind is made up, that is it!  A “thinker” those thoughts whirl around his head like buzzing bees, prone to worry he is still so warmhearted and charismatic his fans will continue to adore him for years to come. His Paul Daniels show ran from 1979 to 1994 and in that time he became a household name. Yet he was first inspired by magic as a kid, when he read a book called “How to Entertain at Parties,” and every cell in his body buzzed at the prospect of pulling rabbits out of hats. “From that moment,” he stated “I can safely say that all I ever wanted to do in life was become a professional magician.”  So that fun hobby ended up as his raison d’être in fact, during his national service he practiced his tricks on the other lads.

He finally turned a “professional corner” during a summer season at Newquay; from then on, he never looked back. His Mars in Taurus would make him the tortoise that gets to the proverbial winning post, even if it does mean plod, plod, and plod. He is always Mr. Realist, ready to face the tests of life, seeing through the sham and make believe.  Perhaps that is why he nurtures a healthy skepticism, which urged him to test out the paranormal under laboratory conditions! His rather eccentric persona has also become an object of fun on such satirical comedy shows as Chris Morris and Brass Eye. Spitting Image portrayed him as an out of sync idiot with a talking toupee, more recently he was on the X Factor, appeared in Wife Swap, Let me Entertain you, and to add to his achievements, he owns a fancy dress shop in Wigan; not someone who “rests on his laurels” for sure.

His Gemini moon will make it difficult for him to relax, easy for him to be a superb trickster on stage, gifting him with dexterity and slight of hand. Please do not ask him to sit still, as we said he thinks alot but on his feet, always throwing himself into a vibrant world full on; like Mr. Mercury himself he moves fast, only able to relax with genuine folks down the pub. His Gemini moon will help him channel original ideas such as a rabbit called Woolly who lived in Puzzleopolis on a popular kids’ show Wizbit. His Mercury in Taurus will gift him with the stamina necessary to continually build on hard won success. Down periods will not deter him, as long as he knows he is proceeding to the castle on the top of the hill!  Fun to be around, friendly and open hearted when he likes you, he only gets slightly rattled when you do not agree with his original views on life. He once said “I saw Peter Stringfellow on TV one time, and we both have a little, but not very much, sympathy for the homeless, because both of us came from very poor backgrounds, got off our arses, and grafted”. No doubt about it, Venus in Taurus makes him a solid presence amongst the show biz fraternity, a guy who likes hugs and pats on the back. Yet if he does take a shine to you, he will test you out until he is completely sure you will not break his heart!

It takes patience for Paul to truly trust others. He is certainly not a cold man, but a stubborn Aries man. It is that Jupiter in Aquarius that clinches his deal. He will express more of his soul as time marches him on to his twilight years. Paul Daniels is a mystery unto himself, yet his own “magic”, makes him a guy who will reinvent himself again and again. After his birthday this year he will likely find himself dealing with issues around personal relationships and ask himself whether he expects too much from people. He might feel rejected or hurt, but he will move on from this emotional glitch and let go of that past with a new way of relating. 

He could get involved in some sort of humanitarian project end 2009; at least he will want to do something to help a suffering world. Every man has a good side, he might be outrageous, controversial, even immoral to some degree, but perhaps he loves his wife, his partner, his children so intensely he would die for them, sacrifice his all for a friend, or a parent. In any event, something positive drives him forth in life, no matter his reputation or his philosophy. And so it is for Don King, who is indeed the “King” when it comes to Boxing Promotion, a “larger than life” gentleman who has reacted to life defending a panoramic vision with somewhat original, even dubious actions. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, an OTT Sagittarius, even his early reputation is puzzlingly controversial, he is rumored to have run an illegal book making business, and was condemned for murdering two men, one to defend himself from theft. The other was a second-degree murder for which he served four years in the state penitentiary. There are whispers that he has an involvement in organised crime!  Interestingly in the 1997 movie The Devil’s Advocate, he played himself!  Add these other facts to his list of things to do 1) he has been in hot water with the IRS and 2), there is an interesting blend of astro in placements in his personal sky, which could explain some of his more exaggerated actions. Let us be clear here, he is virtually guaranteed to keep that colorful vibe ablaze for years to come.

His Sagittarian sign pushes him to acting “OTT” on a regular basis. One could compare his energies to a stereo blasting to kingdom come. Being a Sagittarian does excuse some of his major eccentricities we hasten to add. One imagines him galloping across the plains, his “gravity defying” hair to the four winds, an old style warrior on his way to storming a city. A showman “par excellence”, he pushes himself, and everyone else around him to the max – no small time, small print, small minded thinking for this guy. Remember, he was a lightening bolt when it came to managing such boxing stars as Mohammed Ali, and what he says goes every time. Ali filed a lawsuit against him incidentally. He has promoted Mike Tyson, Julio Cesar, Cavez, Mike McCallum, to name but a few. Not always considered “tactful” in his dealings with these stars, some have even filed lawsuits against him, for varied perceived misdemeanors. His personal life could be deemed spotless however. He is the “Padrino” to his three children, numerous grand children, friends and business associates.

So at this stage you will be asking what makes this man tick?  We are prompted to answer, Karma, cause and effect, past lives manifesting in this one, and full on too!   Mercury in Capricorn will make him unsurprisingly conservative. In fact with Mr. Quick Silver nibbling at his heels, encouraging him to be rather closed minded, it is somewhat of a miracle he endorsed Barack Obama in 2008. But that mind of his is also very in tune, pushing the right buttons to dominate any major shenanigans, or off centre show biz escapades with dexterity. He will continue to organise fantastic sports events, but also to control and rule.  He is not one to give into moments of weakness or self-doubt. Of course retirement is out of the question, but travel is on the cards as new opportunities pop up for him. He might buy a couple of philosophy books, try and recuperate some higher thinking. Michael Jackson

“Why not just tell people I’m an alien from Mars. Tell them I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight!” For some, Virgo sun sign, Michael Jackson is indeed an E.T, for others a plastic surgery freak. He might say he is a Peter Pan look-alike, there is no doubt he is phenomenal show biz talent whose eccentricity has shocked many to the core. Michael Jackson’s originality is indisputable. He was said to have slept in a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, but he has vehemently denied this. One could believe anything, especially seeing his moonwalk routine enchants the most severe of his critics. The guy’s performances are superlative, his voice beautiful and very particular, expressive and emotive. But why has he dedicated a great percentage of his life to skin whitening, even though he insists he suffers from vitiligo! Are all these blatant “wacco” rumours, just part of his showmanship style then?

His Piscean moon shows him frightened, timid, and a recluse, even though an undisputed King of Pop. He was born on the 29th August 1958; twenty-nine, by the way, is not the luckiest of numbers. Now all of you lot born on the 29th do not get into a tail spin, the situation can be far less fraught if combined with a positive astro picture, but in Michael’s case we have convoluted and stressful planetary configurations especially regarding relationships with the human race, starting off with his own father. His dad was more than responsible for a terrified boy growing into a confused man. Imagine your own father entering an open window wearing a Scream mask, just to teach you not to leave the window open at night! When interviewed by Oprah, Michael wept behind his hand, still obviously traumatised by the abuse. The shock resonates deep within him, beats to the rhythm of his life no doubt about it.

So, how could he have overcome trauma to become such a successful entertainer? Well, as we pointed out, Michael is a Virgo, a grounded, earth sign; hardworking, dedicated, truly talented and sometimes inspirational. But his true blue ally would have to be his Mercury in Leo. It gives him the courage to stand up for his life, be counted, and continue on against all odds. Yet, as we said, we cannot exclude complex astro aspects, due to an excessive dash of Piscean that comes with suffering. His moon makes him compassionate, yes, he wants to be a philanthropist, he wants to help this planet’s hurt and weary, especially children, but when he must roll up his sleeves, participating hands on, Michael feels he fails short of the task, even though he has channelled a great deal of publicity and finances for the suffering. He co-wrote “We are the World” with Lionel Ritchie, and raised millions of dollars for the famine in Africa. He also founded the “Heal The World Foundation” in 1992 for hurt and poor kids.

He would invite them to his ranch, and his theme park rides, and was quite harshly judged by the media as a result. Yet the foundation sent millions of dollars around the globe to help children. But still, notwithstanding these achievements, Michael cannot live in peace; his private Wonderland is the only place that feels normal to him. We are sure he did not marry Lisa Marie Presley to feel normal however. He married her because she was a twin soul, the daughter of Elvis, and had suffered from an unusually lonely childhood. They connected when he was going through child abuse allegations, and she became his confidante, helping him get over the shock and the defamation of character.  Lisa always maintained it was a normal bond, but two years later they divorced remaining friends. Mars in Taurus shows Michael had a strong attraction to Lisa and their love life would have been vibrant.

We must try not to be bamboozled by his mask like face, a way of protecting himself from the onslaught of injustice, abuse, and his perception of a critical and judgmental media. Yes he is scared by life and challenge, but no, he is not a coward. So who is Michael Jackson after all? He is certainly not an E.T, rather a gentleman, clearly a victim of child abuse both on his own skin and through what some perceive to be his own actions. His true resilience shows no matter how wounded he feels, his gifted energies win through, energies that will, and have, carried him forwards through more than his share of trials and tribulations. His own worst enemy is his true node in Libra. It would make him push others away when they try to help, retire within himself yearning for balance and harmony. Liable to self-defensive attitudes, insecure perceptions, afraid of other’s assessments, he makes life difficult for himself. But remember, his transformation into a ghoul in Thriller did not really scare anyone. He was always our Michael, the screwball genius galvanizing his girl “Honey I am not like other guys” he said in that mini horror movie.

Yes, weird, perhaps, lonely, grief stricken, but harmless. Spirit shows us his lesson is to turn away from his past, let go of the abuse and accept his true goodness, that goodness so many of us see seeping through wonderful artistic gifts above and beyond his deep shame, a shame he hides from view. Nelson George summed up Jackson ‘ “The grace, the aggression, the growling, the natural boyishness, the falsetto, the smoothness—that combination of elements mark him as a major vocalist” and a phenomenal entertainer in our book. The next couple of years he will find himself involved emotionally. He could allow himself to fall in love unexpectedly or at least consider the prospect of linking up to a beloved one in his life. She will be an unusual person, not as unusual as he, but enough to keep him enthralled. And she will not care about his reputation, his honors, his 13 Grammy awards, etc. She will care about Michael, the greatest “Thriller” in popular culture today. We cannot wait to hear your news Michael!

Piers Morgan

Okay folks button down the hatches, reassess your lifestyle, make sure you have no skeletons in your cupboard because guess who is coming into town? The scintillating Aries Piers Morgan. Former editor of News of the World, and the Daily Mirror, he is not one to pay lip service to anyone. He blasts his truth to the world at high volume acquiring fame and fortune in the process. A hit on talent shows such as America’s Got Talent, and winner of Celebrity Apprentice, he forges ahead unperturbed, a rather ordinary fellow with a rather extraordinary personality, blame it on his sun sign Aries, especially that Mercury configuration. It makes his wit garbed, his take on life cynical, and his love of controversy addictive. Being sued on all fronts and from all directions just piles more cream on his cake. His education was middle class mainstream. He was probably a practical little kid, his Jupiter in Taurus encouraging him to keep a well-stocked piggy bank; he wanted to be very, very rich from an early age. He knew he would be, of course! 

His first opportunity to realise he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth was when he became editor of the Sun’s Showbiz column he made his mark. He moved on and up, his Venus in Aries making him so enthusiastic about his mission, even Speedy Gonzalez could not have kept up with his rise to the top of the pile. In the process he caught Rupert Murdoch’s discerning eye and became Editor of News of the World at only 28 years old. His take on celebrity-dom is well known, he believes they are on this earth to entertain the general public, therefore he does not think twice about pushing a magnifying lens deep into their private lives; obviously a series of irate libel cases is the result. A photo of the gorgeous Catherine Victoria Lockwood, then wife of Charles Earl Spencer, leaving a detox clinic set the trend. As he let more and more Celeb skeletons out of their cupboards, he was getting into a whole lot of trouble. Few will remember the Jeremy Clarkson feud, when Clarkson punched Piers three times for excessive coverage of his personal life, mainly because these events leave our Piers virtually indifferent.

His famous quote “this is a good day for lying, drug abusing prima donnas….” was said as a result of Ms. Campbell suing his newspaper for guess what? Prying into her personal life. After being sacked from the Mirror, due to some convoluted photographic scam regarding Iraqi prisoners of war, Piers decided to branch out into another form of media – television – and to be frank he has not looked back since. It has to be said his tendency to rub others up the wrong way is only slightly muted these days.  Saturn in Pisces will want to teach him that he still needs to protect his private life, and realise it is a precious gift. His karmic lesson is emotional forbearance and caring for his own flesh and blood. He knows he needs to feel more comfortable with intimacy, and we sense that this will be his prerogative in the latter part of his life, from around fifty years onwards. 

Mars in Virgo will make sure he needs a long time to establish emotional trust. Anyway, we are more interested in his exuberant personality than his personal life. We want to scream with laughter at his fun comments on talent shows. We adore the fact he is so unafraid of making an outlandish comment, dropping a clanger here and there. And we wait for his “take” with baited breath. But be warned, he is not always Mr. Jovial, Mars in Virgo will transform him into an archetypal Alpha Male at the drop of a hat, a high achieving “doer” organizing his desk, and making sure all the Top Secret material is at the back of his filing cabinet. He wants his pen, his blotting paper and his phone lined up, and wow betide a secretary who does not leave a message, he will nag, nag, nag her, and if she still insists on forgetting important show biz facts, she will be out the door faster than anyone could say “Where the … did you put my parking ticket?!!!???” He expects a lot of those around him, he drives them almost as hard as he drives himself, the words efficiency, organisation, individualism are what you would need to write on the top of your CV application if you want a job working for Piers. He likes to surround himself with a bright, witty team of youngsters who can keep up with his barbed repartee and fast pace. With that North node in Gemini our Piers will want to make things happen “before now” over the next year or so. He has a deep-seated aversion to procrastinators, and will tell them in no uncertain terms. It is rush, rush, rush for goodness sakes.  

He also finds most social mores an absolute waste of time, he wants to tell it “how it is” even if “how it is” is turning a particularly genteel member of the “chattering classes” to stone – never mind their shocked expression, either people “get it” or they don’t! Contracts, financial arrangements and new show biz deals are on the top of Piers’ list in 2009.  He will be as busy as your proverbial bee, maintaining his status quo. Now is a time to strike while the iron is hot Piers, and you will do, helping a lot of other individuals to embellish, and publicise their careers in the process. Leonardo di Caprio

A cross between one of the most “beautiful people in the world” and “Renaissance man” go a long way to describing Leonardo di Caprio. The story goes he kicked his mother in the womb while she was looking at a Da Vinci painting. Well, Da Vinci was a genius, and Leonardo a whiz kid who began his career as a bubble gum poster child. Yup, Mr Di Caprio is still quite a charmer; his Mercury in Libra makes his conversation eloquent, his demeanour delightful, his relationship with the press balanced. Yet De Caprio’s cherubic countenance is a cover up for a Scorpionic love nature, which means passion, complexity and mesmerizing sexuality. He adores the beauty of his sensational girl friends, Moon in Libra, but he skates the surface of relationships, and keeps those sadder secrets locked away in his heart. This does little to encourage a happy family life.
 
His ways of viewing marriage are conservative. He admires committed couples, and his close friend Kate Winslet’s happy relationship. But being a dad and a husband would be challenging for Leonardo; he prefers to fulfil emotions through carnal intimacy. His Venus and Mars in Scorpio reveal a magnetic charisma, inevitably drawing those he desires towards him, but he can play with hearts, withdrawing emotionally to hold the power in a relationship. He is unfathomable to his women, succumbing to moments of explosive frustration that clash with his open faced, fair haired looks! The most precious element of Mr di Caprio is that his Scorpionic intensity has opened him out to the more spiritual elements of existence. 2009 could be a year of change, he might feel exhausted, he might feel emotionally fragile, he might realise that there are certain elements to his existence that are no longer relevant to his development as an actor and a human being, and want to let go of them.  He is building up maturity, emotional know how, and an individual expansion that will ensure, probably mid way through 2010, a new set of expressive skills, a new way of approaching his art. A deep involvement in an emotional relationship, or the ending of one, will transform him in ways that he would have never thought possible. Leonardo is brilliant and intense, his nature more profound than one would imagine from his friendly demeanour and good looks. He is a riddle only he can resolve, and certainly it looks as if he will, and become even more of a myth in the process!

Nicholas Cage

Mr. Cage is not the kind of guy who squeezes his toothpaste from the middle of the tube! His socks are lined up in color blends, his shirts hung plastic covers. Why? Moon in precise Virgo. And how come that “feet on the ground” attitude is coupled with a capacity to dialogue “high philosophy” with the most enlightened sages of our generation? Our Capricorn Sun of course. It makes him reflective and perceptive. It also makes him certain of his life choices. Mr. Cage certainly possesses awareness of “Soul” yet at the same time he is on a realistic creative mission, and is more than adept at getting what he wants. He could be compared to a bear sniffing out the honey when it come to defining the right projects for his talents! He is indeed a thorough Capricorn! He once said one had to have slight “criminal tendencies” to be an actor. What he meant was he knows how to delve into the dark side of human nature and get to the winning post  because of his creative dexterity. He has been handed his acting skills on a “genetic silver tray” if you like, his half Italian half German origins plus familial connections to the Coppola’s, made sure he used ingenious genes from an early age, when he was involved in teen creative projects. In fact, these days, to prove any character’s point he will spend hours in the gym, go on special research projects utilising much self analysis so that subterranean Pluto in Virgo can push him through those astonishingly profound performances. Yes, Mr. Cage is a touch excessive and he touches those OTT emotions in our hearts too! Nobody could have remained unmoved by his superb alcoholic on a death mission” in “Leaving Las Vegas”. In fact, nothing can stop him from achieving excellence other than those Virgo-type self critical tendencies. Yet Mr. Cage is not really as complex as he sounds until it comes to romance! Initially, he will treat his beloved  ones with simple “old world” courtesy. His attraction to Lisa Presley was a case in point; he idolised her so much that she got confused!  Not confused enough to be oblivious to his  “charismatic sensuality” which compensated for gloomy moments when he dives head first into his characters and forgets to leave them behind at the studio. He has had a number of marital split ups due to his partners taking stock of his rather unique moods, need for isolation and periods of intense inner reflection. But when it comes to romantic love, Venus in Aquarius makes him court the ladies with innovative verve. Bunches and bunches of red roses, extravagant knightly gestures etc. He is attracted to stunning ladies with whom he can have intense mental joisting bouts, ladies who have the capacity to intrigue him infinitely. Jupiter in Aries is “the cream on his cake” however, it lightens his mood and makes him prone to success and opportunity, as well as rip  roaring laughing bouts especially at the highly ridiculous. But basically, he wants things clear; he wants things practical and feasible, with that Uranus in Virgo. He likes to work like clockwork – confusion and inefficiency send him around the proverbial “bend”. Mr. Cage is very much aware of the world’s environmental crisis. He will want to play an active role in pointing humanity towards the values of a clean earth (Capricorn/Virgo) and an understanding that we must all “do something” to save ourselves from possible extinction. Robert De Niro

Well, Mr. Robert De Niro, we raise our glasses to your spectacular “to the bone” performances. Yes, you are an Italo-American Par Excellence, at the peak of your profession and life. Your screen roles are mythical, shall we list them? The boxing legend on the make in Raging Bull, the Mafioso on the kill in The Godfather II. The true villain; nobody wants to meet on a dark night in Cape Fear. The tragic hero every woman wants to make her beau, in the Deer Hunter.

All this interpretative mastership makes us shiver to our toes, with your Mars in Taurus such roles vibrate within our psyches forever. Your craft is full of deep sensuality and slow determination but that is part of your fascination. One would think you would remain devastated by  the experience of such intense characterisations. Yet De Niro, you are a true actor, when you go home you hang up your hat and have a bubble bath. No, you are not “ever” who you seem on screen, even though  your presence sets a film alight and leaves us all agog.

Enough hero worship, we need to see what makes Mr. De Niro tick, Mr. De Niro was born on the 17 August 1943; nothing less than a baby boomer, growing into a cute young dude all the girls wanted to date. Perhaps he was insecure, as most young Leos are, that subtle sex appeal, that “Leo the Lion” sunny smile was a mask. He was scared of the immensity of existence especially with Pluto in Leo. But by acting someone he actually was not, he felt freed up from life’s challenges. He could disassociate from his primal fears.

Saturn in Gemini shows that Mr. De Niro’s craft is not as spontaneously “fire sign” as we would like to think. It demanded exacting training as an actor, basic sweat and tears to muster knowledge of a character’s temperament and disposition, to understand that a technique must not seem like what it is – a technique.

De Niro detaches from his roles, lets exquisite skills interpret free flow and with dexterity. He will keep at it, he will rehearse until he drops, he is stubborn, someone who stays the course till the bitter end, until he makes word perfect, clear in definition, and utterly compelling any role. He does not identify with his craft, he IS his craft. Again Pluto in Leo makes him reach all races, all nations and all cultures with his brilliant communication skills. Mr. De Nero was a sixties child, Neptune in Libra made him so and life was not just borderline revolutionary then, people actually thought they could change the world. De Niro wanted to change perceptions with his acting, with his portrayals of humanity’s crises and challenges. His vision was high, his intent pure.

Venus in Virgo makes him supportive yet hyper critical of most people now though, especially his love partners. He would notice a lipstick smear on a chin or a hair on a collar at 30 paces. Gruelling, challenging, demanding, tough, solid, inventive, this man is a genius, De Niro is a legend of his own time!  It’s easy! Try it!

Christian Bale

Who would believe that our “Mythic” Mr Bale with his Aquarian sun sign and Moon in Aries is really a sensitive introvert. He certainly found it hard to deal with his new found Hollywood fame in small town Wales. A key word to describe his nature could be “insightful”. His capacity to become intimate with his characters is evidence of this. Yet this gifted actor, so attractively “controversial” is learning the karmic lesson of “cooperation”.

Over the past months Mr. Bale has been confused; his mind has been pulled this way and that by his Neptune placement. He might feel as if facts have been misinterpreted, as if people just have not understood him, as if they have even gone out of their way to upset or disturb his inner equilibrium. He knows he needs to evaluate his attitudes, especially since there will be an expansive influence shinning on his career well past 2009 and his inclination to “over react” needs to be reined in. In fact so  positive will that career influence be that Mr Bale could find his bank balance increasing in awesome amounts.

His acting roles will continue to be intensely dramatic over the next couple of years and the public will forgive him any transgressions and continue to adore his stunning performances. Yet sometimes his sun in Aquarius, that open, “lets all be friends” attitude, will clash with a “blood red” Aries moon and he could say the wrong thing at the wrong time and still feel nobody really understands what he means,…ever.. The good news is that so attractive, charming and gifted is he, it will be hard for anyone to remain eternally offended. Robert Pattinson

If someone were to tell you that Robert Pattinson’s “matinee idol looks” were of no consequence to him at all, would you believe them?  Yet his sun in solid Taurus accounts for Robert’s laid-back attitude about his “gorgeousness”. Good sense tells him he is just lucky, and he certainly does not believe he is anyone special. Mars in Capricorn still makes him a cool dude though, and the truth is you will never know what he is thinking, especially when he does not want you to know.  His tendency to go dead pan when put on the spot could be a result of that British “stiff upper lip” and education in one of the best public schools in Great Britain.  Stubborn could be an adjective that describes his general demeanour, especially when looking to get what he wants.

When thinking deeply, he gets lost in reverie and might swing back so low in a chair he could tip up and fall on the floor! “Robert pick yourself up” – only joking, because he is, after all, destined for a very stimulating career. Sensitive moon in Cancer tells us that hard work makes him feel secure and if it is to do with self-expression, the more the better. Those super easy going moments are frequently just a “passing fad” by the way, especially when he is immersed in his roles. He is an excellent actor, “dark, moody and conflicted” as in Twilight or Dracula moments. These interpretations are as far away from his real personality as chalk is from cheese.

He is well balanced. He knows when to pitch in and he knows when to rest, inner conflict is not on his list of “things to do!” To counteract the occasional over sensitive moment, he has good old, bull headed Taurus lined up in Mercury mainly to help him focus on positive outcomes and build future success. Did you not know Taureans always reach their objectives? Regarding his romantic roles, one could not say Robert is like other British film legends, he is no Cary Grant because although tall he is not exactly lanky or debonair, instead he has a rather dark look that can express a mix of “love em and leave em”, coupled with “romantic obsession”. This of course makes the fans sigh with dreamy longing. Amorous “roles” are not the true essence of the guy.

You might be surprised to learn Robert is light hearted when it comes to his Eros. His love stories have included the lovely Nina Schubert but his real soul mate has not shown up yet. He loves to converse with the birds of the trees with a potential paramour and hates to get heavy, in fact obsession is certainly not his prerogative in a love affair. At least he thinks not. Pluto in Scorpio can make him yearn far too deeply when he falls passionately and he might desire the physicality of his object of affections with intense and sensual yearning. But in general, he wants fun and versatility, to chop and change, to be stimulated, and with Gemini in Venus he is certainly not looking for Helen of Troy but rather a cute, fun, rather slim girl, who can make him laugh. He hates emotional “drama” in his every day life, even though he is so good at it “on screen!” Robert’s present tendency to be “jolly” will not detract from his spiritual search later on in life, with Jupiter in Pisces there is a deep, albeit hidden, yearning for a major understanding of the human condition even though the bloke might not be prone to admit it. He will want to contribute actively to the world scenario and could investigate philosophy or go deeply into the “why we are on earth” scenario.

Fame somewhat embarrasses him and although he is proud of his achievements he feels he has even more to contribute to his life, and the lives of others. He is no “airhead” in other words, and would hate to live out his acting career as a strictly romantic hero. He is already being offered mature, challenging roles and he will learn to express feelings and contrasting emotions with unique dynamism. He is intent on perfecting his craft and again with Mercury in Taurus, he is perfectly capable of burning the midnight oil to get a scene perfect. He is professional, punctual and serious in his commitment. This young man has learnt to be patient with collaborators, takes a practical approach to problem solving and remains grounded with his well-balanced attitudes charming others. He will keep his wits about him even when confronted with the challenges looks and fame dish out to him on a regular basis.

This chap will not lose his way or get addicted to adulation. He has been well brought up, he has manners and he will remove himself from bitchy colleagues in a bat of an eyelid, especially if they do “neurotic” on him.  He knows how to cancel people out and protect his space when needed. His common sense helps him do that!  He is incredibly kind, and would always help someone out if he could, especially his family and friends. His tendency to “blockishness” is minimal, although it does emerge on occasions, but mainly with mates he likes to joke around with.

He is in short, your archetypal British male star, a wonderful, handsome lad with a dynamic future ahead of him and over the next 18 months he will not only touch the clouds but learn that love can be incredibly exciting too, with Venus so ready to shine for him. Will Smith

That show biz phenomenon, and star of “Men in Black”, Will Smith, was born in the 25th September 1968. He should be a peaceful, balanced and harmonious Libran, but 1968 was the year the student movement and “flower power” were in full swing and barricades went up in the streets of Paris! Add to that fact that it takes approximately 25 days for the sun to do a complete rotation on itself; we need not be surprised Will Smith is prone to the extreme. He is funny, unabashedly boastful, buzzing at a high octave 95 percent of the time, a lower 5 percent in bed when he is fast asleep, Will Smith’s highly entertaining star quality blows our minds. He has never been, and will ever be anybody’s fool. He has all his marbles, and more, in the forefront of his brain. His capacity to express what the audience expects is uncanny. But surprise, surprise, a soft Cancerian influence makes him a sucker for family life. He just adores his wife Jada Pinkett, idolises his kids and would thump around this planet like a lost soul without their encouragement and presence in his multifaceted existence.

Will is like the thud, thud, thud of a base guitar, the screeching of a fork across a plate, a joking dude, a perceptive intellectual, his personas are so many, some days he might forget who he is, our joke of course! We remain stunned by his capacity to be carefree and artful in his interpretations. Independence Day hit nine on the Richter scale due to his presence alone. Unsurprisingly Will totally ignores his Saturn in Aries, remember Mr. Saturn is the planet of limitations and lesson learning and our Will rocks! The Aries element pushes Will to breaking point as he smashes through boundaries. Nothing, and we repeat absolutely nothing, will stop him from overcoming whatever, whoever, and why ever, life stands in his way. He holds up his finger at his own inner fears and just gets on with it. But please don’t muck up the finer details; because Will possesses an almost fanatical need for excellence, everything has to be in the right place at the right time! Any suggestion of lost keys will send him into a frenzy. He is not too adroit at being tactful either, he will dress down anybody’s bad form and is liable to put his foot in it, which does not endear him to the more fragile contingent even though he holds much attention and respect.

Mr. Smith is a hard worker, Jupiter in Virgo makes him a detail fanatic, and helps him play with words hence his authorship of a children’s book, “Just the Two of Us.” Super-responsive to his environment, Will wants things sparkling. He hates hairs in the sink and likes the word “spotless”. Yet, he can talk so fast when he is nagging, rapping or chatting; your brain might find it hard to collate his words with your ears. Couple this with a peacemaker’s Mercury in Libra, and one can see why Will is an individual who can fascinate the hardest critic, be super kind to his multiple array of loving friends and make up rather than break up. Hitting forty has been symbolic to Will. He might go through the nearest thing to an “existential crisis” he is capable of. Johnny Depp

A high school drop out, an ex garage rock and roller, a gobbled up horror film victim in Nightmare on Elm Street and now a doting father, guess who? Yes our friend Johnny Depp who is all of these things and more. He is a man born under the sign of Taurus, one who always wanted to climb to the top of the mountain and stand in the light of artistic success. Jupiter in Aries will make him go getting and explorative. Yet after an off beat childhood in Kentucky, and somewhat of a rocky climb to success as a teen idol, he tends to underplay his talents these days.

What we do know for certain is that he demands privacy; he has made that clear enough. His 2002 break from the silver screen is an example of his need for peace and quiet. He more than needs his central point of reference in France too; he adores his family and exquisite French companion Vanessa Paradis, the model and songstress. He wants to protect those he loves from publicity and paparazzi! They are his celebrities! They are unique to him! Our guess is Johnny likes French cooking. He is a Taurean after all, and the “feel” “taste” and “smell” of the goodness of life is necessary to his physical well-being. An intense moon in Scorpio will make Johnny’s emotional life complex.

He is inclined to have mini “dark nights of the soul” when he can be emotionally fragile. He will then shut out intimate communication and get very private to reconnect to his stability. His fascination to women remains rock solid however. Handsome, offbeat, flirtatious, fascinatingly eccentric, those hats, those sunglasses, those bandanas. Venus in Aires suggests that when he falls, he falls hook line and sinker and suddenly. The ex sirens in his life have included Sherilyn Fenn, Winona Ryder, and Jennifer Gray the Dirty Dancing chick. A look across a crowded room, a fascinating demeanour, and he is seducing the object of his affections with refined demonstrations of “Mars in Leo” ardour. He became unwilling to compromise his star studded, highly lucrative acting career for love or family life until his little daughter was born of course. Then everything changed for Johnny. As he so aptly stated “everything I have done has been illusion, the birth of my daughter gave me life” He worries about the safety of his children to an almost excessive degree; he donated $1 million dollars to Great Ormond Street when the little one was taken ill whilst he was filming in London.

With Saturn in Aquarius, he will want a familiar bunch of mates to share his lifestyle and to unload to. He is a good friend to them all; Kate Moss will always be his concern and he will stand by any buddy in trouble. Johnny understands life can be a mess, he has been prone to excessive behaviour of his own in the past, in fact he was known to have torn up an entire hotel suite in a fit of “something” when he and Kate were a number.

Venus in Aries again? Mercury in Gemini means he has a broad repertoire of intellectual interests, he will touch on “this and that” including philosophy, psychology and spiritual concepts but will not go too deep, he does not require intellectual knowledge to bounce off a new idea or understand a concept. In truth Johnny Depp is a man apart. A man who dives within himself looking for the answer to existence. But Lady Luck has followed him around like a bodyguard, the rays of Planet Venus protecting him from misfortune, from ever falling low in his public’s estimations. His unusual talent, with outbursts of creative savoir-faire, make him one of the most spellbinding actors of our generation. But perhaps this is because Johnny deserves success!   

In 2009 he will re emerge, even more creative and even more dynamic. He is approaching a new beginning, an artistic regeneration. He will remain a highly fascinating and mesmerizing actor, and like his admired friend and colleague Marlon Brando, a myth in his lifetime.

Jack Black

Mr Jack “You must never underestimate the power of the eyebrow” Black, is an amiable goofy guy, born in California under the sign of Virgo. Even though he is no golden skinned beach dude, he is a closet sex symbol, Nah! Yeah, this man has gallons of sex appeal but nobody could say he is an archetypical male lead. Be surprised, he is the kind of guy who clicks his fingers and gets a date with the peachiest honey on the beach. Why? He makes them laugh. He says of himself. “Never for a second did I think of myself as the sexiest guy in the world. When I was a kid I thought I was the strongest man in the world. Then, the fastest runner and then the smartest person in the world. One by one my delusions got shut down. Now I just see myself as the lamest guy in the world.”

He could be considered odd, more gnome than romantic lead, more witty than droll, and more slapstick than quaint. Yet he makes us laugh so much, we find him extraordinarily attractive. His fun acts are performed with such dexterity, his capacity to communicate is so intense it would be difficult to remain indifferent to all that super-wacko acting out. He is a mate of Will Smith and the mind boggles at the thought of those two on a roll. His Virgo tendencies should make him the possessor of earthy can-do attitudes, it should not be difficult for him to deal with every day life. But he just cannot keep his fingers out of pandemonium once he gets going, a funny pandemonium but a pandemonium all the same. Perhaps it has something to do with his genes; both his parents were rocket scientists! It makes his brain function on a different wave length to the average bloke, the kind of wave length that helped him enjoy his “once in a lifetime” role in X files; perhaps the sinister force he represented was a laughing UFO.

He had his main break in the movie “High Fidelity”. His rock band Tenacious D has its own fan club. His family are his greatest fans. With Venus in Cancer he is one of the most caring of men.  Profoundly sentimental, deeply romantic and protective of those he loves, his wife must pinch herself every day, never wanting to wake up from their dream of a marriage. They were high school sweethearts; she is a cello player, which is significant as there is a part of Jack that is much hidden. A deeply sensitive part.  A part that values the classic ways of doing things, the higher aspects of life, Saturn in Taurus makes him want base line security. Family, friends and his two kids must be around; he has trouble overcoming his fear of losing everyone he adores to some awful disaster. So he will build his house brick by brick, and make sure the foundations are solid and everyone he loves is okay in it. Mercury in Libra makes him smooth over rough waters, create good vibrations, build a world of options, and easy going communications.  He is a laugh a minute at a social gathering; he does not stop joking when he is off screen either. He keeps his goof ball antics on the go and the fun just bounces out from him like a never-ending stream.

Jack is basically a free spirit, Mars in Sagittarius says so. It also insists that he has a dream for a better environment. He could have Green leanings or want to help a war torn world. Deep down Jack Black the funny man, the guy who makes us all smile, makes us feel better, pushes us from the sublime to the ridiculous is a really nice chap. Moon in Pisces gives him an instinctive capacity to know what to say, to pull out from the depths of his nature the funniest comment, the most side splitting crack.

This year, he will let go of certain ways of doing things, he will find his own life undergoes some unexpected changes, many of them will be positive and some will challenge him. There is a sense he will find a new way forwards another way of communicating his gifts and yet he will always make us laugh, our Mr Black. One can only end with trying to comprehend his fear that “Gwyneth Paltrow” would fall for him on set of Shallow Hal, but she fell for Brad Pitt instead. It only goes to show that our friend is not quite as sexy as we thought. But certainly more fun than we can imagine.

Dustin Hoffman

“Little Big Man” could be a way to describe the genius of Dustin Hoffman. A pint size acting phenomena who succumbed to consistent teasing, adolescent pimples, an inferiority complex and lousy high school grades. Mr Hoffman turned to the thespian arts because “nobody flunks acting”. He subsequently morphed into a giant screen phenomenon, a myth, a legend! His screen roles have left an indelible mark on humankind. Who could remain indifferent watching his compassionate interpretations of the gifted autistic in Rain Man? The dying freak in Midnight Cowboy? The desperate Ivy League lover in The Graduate? How come The Lord has gifted him with such supreme talent?

He is a Leo and that is a fact that needs to be recognised. Leos are big-hearted and when gifted, excessive! Obama is a Leo, the Queen Mum was a Leo! A Leo can be as different from any another Leo as chalk is from cheese yet they are usually “up there”, when it comes to big auras, big charisma, big emotions, no matter their age and no matter their social background. The unalterable fact is that Leos win! And that is our first explanation. Our second is more complex. Mercury in Virgo for example, which would make Mr Hoffman a catalyst of magnetic and intense communicative gifts. He will dissect a character, almost as if he was a brain surgeon, every detail perused over and every nuance examined under the microscopic of Virgo’s scrutiny. No matter the exhaustion that would ensue in this process, Mr Hoffman would go “profound” until he got it right. Why? This tendency could be difficult for other actors to deal with on set, and many a director working with Mr. Hoffman just might not agree with Mr. Hoffman’s same perfectionist “vision” of a character. Few realise that the reason he is so thorough is because of his fear of criticism.

Who could imagine this genius would become virtually inconsolable when a negative critic bashes his performance? Well, Mr. Hoffman is not immune to what other people say, in fact his acting skills are born of a deep seated need to be recognised, not unusual for Leos, an almost adolescent yearning to say “Hey, look at me, look at how good I am!” to those past teasers, those unkind tormenters.  He is too generous a person to want to “get even” though; he is an openhearted type of guy, a caring, loving husband!  His two Oscars mean a lot less to Dustin than the safety and warmth of his family, to whom he is dedicated. In fact, he has managed to curtail some of his past super sensitive emotional reactions within a relationship and has matured in the way he approaches his loved ones. After a painful first marriage and divorce he has learnt his lessons. But he is still creative, an artist, a visionary and the fact that he might look like a stockbroker does not detract from the super sensitivity of his gigantean creative talents.

What gives really? because frankly there is nothing exceptional in his horoscope to reveal the secret of such wizardry? Except of course, Uranus in Taurus, in other words the channelling of the higher into the lower, the bringing onto the earth plane of the spiritual essence of his characters, rather like a shaman channels mystery Mr Hoffman’s characterisations take on a life of their own, he talks, eats and breathes them! And this is his divine gift. The capacity to go into the “Beyond” and pull down a soul from the ethers.

Finally we understand why he is indeed a complex personality, he could not be otherwise!  He can sell a role, because he is that role. His interpretation of Arthur Miller’s “Death of Salesman”, a man standing up against all odds, a sensitive suffering guy dealing with the cruelty of the Fates is perhaps, his most “to the bone” performance, because in a way, he could have been that guy, if Destiny and the Sun in Leo had not stepped in and taken over! But no, it is more than that, it has to be faced, like most of the super gifted, Mr Dustin is a true Mystery!

Christopher Biggins

Well, if we did not know better we would say that our Mr. Biggins is a little bit of a rascal but what else can one expect from a “simpatico” Sagittarius? He is an instinctive entertainer, could not be anything else with Uranus in Gemini and please realise he cannot be asked to conform to the status quo, No way! Yes, Mr. Biggins would not be averse to swinging on a high wire with a plate of spaghetti on his head, as he is able to communicate in the most diverse of ways! We love him because he is not just a fun guy with a moon in Gemini who likes to try out everything and anything. We love him and his friends love him because he is a hub of conversation with a capacity to talk the “birds off the trees”.  In fact, we wonder what is he going to say next and above all what is he going to do next? We are so intrigued because we suspect there is more to him, something deeper, something unfathomable.

Okay, yes, he would balance a plate of chips on his head whilst playing darts and taming a tiger all at the same time, he is that innovative! And yes, to keep his restless, complex nature on the boil you are certainly not advised to ask him to sit in a corner and read The Times, he would cut a hole in it and grin at you thru the gap! But let us not be fooled, he is more than all that, deep, deep down. Since Jimi Hendrix and Ludwig Van Beethoven both had Mercury in Sagittarius, as does our friend Mr. Biggins, we can expect anything other than genial originality flavoured with a certain unpredictability, a certain inner light hearted anguish, a certain need to express that creative push and those frustrated feelings when he cannot do so to his best ability. With his Venus in Scorpio he will not let you into his private court until he has assessed you from head to foot. He will take his time to see whether you can cut his grass or you are just “pretending” to.

When he sees you are humane, kind and not prone to stabbing people in the back he will make you his friend virtually for life. An interesting fact to note is that with silver Mercury in fun loving Sagittarius he could be a borderline genius! Yes, although he would scoff at this affirmation and quickly dye his hair another colour to prove it, he is a very clever man indeed. He is not a rocket scientist that is obvious, he would want to climb on the thing and fly to the moon on it but someone who has a very spatial view of the universe and the life forms teaming in it. One would wonder whether he has ever had a “meeting of the third kind?” He certainly has this unique take on the mysteries of the human brain! Neptune in Libra makes him a humanitarian, a visionary with high hopes for humanity. His capacity to relate to children is a case in point because they are the future of humanity of course! But Neptune in Libra also makes him a free thinker. His forehead his high and his visions are expansive.

He is open to all sorts of explanations regarding reality, the Quantum Theory, the String Theory, any theory other than a bearded God sitting on a cloud ruling over us all. Mainstream is not his drift even though his faith is deep. He realised at some point he would heed the call of the wild and follow an inspirational command from the Fates. You see, this man knew he had a destined path to make ‘em laugh from an early age. Perhaps because he felt removed, even isolated from his fellows. Unlike most of us, he sensed there was something more, pulsing under appearances and galvanizing his restless attention.

He is a curious man, he sometimes muses upon the dire strait of humanity, why things works, why they don’t, etc and it makes him grind his teeth. To ease his mind he will have us rolling in the aisles to forget, with him, the injustices of existence. But be not fooled, under that madcap exterior when he believes in someone or something, he is committed, and this makes him a strong friend, ally and love partner. The only low note is when he cannot communicate, when he feels his intentions are misunderstood, when he is judged harshly by those he cares for, he could go into his room and shut the door for a while feeling love is disappointing after all. But he also knows, and we thank his Pluto in Leo that he does, that eventually he will just have to express himself again, no matter how he is judged or what people say about him.

His life is all about communication, and he is our surprise healer, touching our souls with his hilarious perceptions. He will be involved in humanitarian projects, especially around September 2009 when he will realise that he wants to help others more, especially sick children. He could get involved in some very interesting show biz activities around these charitable activities too, and his extravagant input will be very much needed! His life is reaching an apex this year, he will find a new door opening, a letting go of the past, and his show biz experience will stand him in good stead in a series of new creative projects. We will watch him with much affection anyway, and of course our avid curiosity. One thing is certain about the unpredictable Mr. Biggins, we know for certain he will continue to makes us laugh!

And last but not least d) would you have an inkling destiny had something to do with him gracing stage and screen with his prodigious talent, and that the fates earmarked him when he was born in  Glasgow , raised in Paisley and oozed infant charm from the cradle? Nothing surprises us when it comes to Gerard Butler. How could it?

This man is one adorable hunk, the kind of guy who would jump into a river and save a kid’s life without thinking twice.  He has been awarded a Certificate of Bravery from the Humane Society for that courageous deed by the way. It has to be faced, he is one of the nicest actors and failed lawyers around.  Yet would it also stun you to discover that Gerard Butler is not all that meets the eye?  Why? Well he is a Scorpio for starters; a darker, more complex anima lurks behind the “good guy” demeanor. Which means that he is reserved, complex, ambitious, determined and highly intelligent. Knowing what buttons to press and how to get his audience to “eat out of his hand” tells us he is no push over; Mother Nature did not give him that penetrating blue/green eyed gaze for nothing. She knew what she was doing. 
 
His acting career began way back when he was spotted in a London Coffee shop, and was offered a role in the stage version of Coriolanus, where he almost got his eye poked out by a wooden pike.  He later starred in a stage version of Train Spotting. He was Billy Connelly’s younger brother in Mrs. Brown. He was in a Bond film “Tomorrow Never Dies” – some thought he would be the new James Bond, but he had better things to do.  So, one last question, e) how come he carries us away to fantasy land, closer to the female psyche than many an actor has been in decades?  He said, “In Scotland I am just like a lot of guys, in America I am seen as a very strong, masculine guy!”But we ladies see through that phrase, we still sense something else is going on, that he vibrates to a far more fascinating tune than his 6ft 2 frame, and stunning physical appearance belie.  

His Venus in Scorpio will go half way to explaining our suspicions. There is something archetypal about this dude you see. Not just because he pulls the ladies like moths to a flame, but because that Venus placement could make him obsessive and jealous about a paramour, trying to manipulate the object of his affections on a daily basis.  One would have to stand up to him quite definitely. Stand up to his sex appeal and overwhelming magnetism, ahhhh, not easy. Mercury also in Scorpio makes him sharp witted, able to raise a laugh, liable to make just the right comment, but also able to assess a situation and see through the dross. He will tell you how it is, and talk straight to the bone – not everyone likes that. Some could shift in their seats, intimidated, no matter how nice the fella seems.  Mars in Aquarius will add to the mystery. Nobody understands a Mars in Aquarius; they are a Rubik cube, an irresolvable puzzle.  

This dazzling dude will know what he wants and gets it leaving everyone else gasping on the side lines about how he did it. He might seem like a magician to some of his friends due to that astrological placement. Certainly he will not want to travel the straight path, he will enjoy “twists and turns” finding creative ways to problem solve. He will give his friends a loose reign to do their own thing most times; he likes open minded, independent people around him, imaginative and creative colleagues. When it comes to choosing his girl friend’s, he is looking for the “Free Spirit” type, until it all gets more intense “a la” his “Venus in Scorpio”.  In the private spheres he could be convoluted, knotty and intricate, not quite as simple as he seems at first glance. A mix and match of emotional diversity in other words. Yet professionally, and as a friend, he is a very easy going fellow, fantastic to work and hang out with, one would adore that great sense of humor, that “live let live” attitude. 

So there you have it the multifarious Gerard Butler, the guy we all adore, and yet suspect nurtures a residual emotional issue due to his parent’s divorce and not knowing his father from the age of two to sixteen years old. They became very close before his pop died, and one suspects that this goes a long way to explaining the dense psychological picture that Gerard displays, the intensity of his gifts and that unexpected emotional complexity.  Looks like some important changes are coming to our friend’s love life. A sudden “across a crowded” room thing might happen, and we will find Gerard madly in love. So beware ladies, you might find yourself at a Hollywood party with Mr. Butler raising his glass to you. I know, we can but dream. One thing is certain, we will watch this gifted actor over the next years, and see him rise like a meteor in the firmaments, a star to his very bone.  God bless you Mr. Butler!

Johnny Knoxville

Johnny Knoxville, you know the guy who was arrested in January 2009 at Los Angeles International Airport for carrying an inert grenade in his back pack, has a Piscean brand of idiot humor. The more intellectual of us might classify it as borderline masochistic, others just plain daft.  Born on the 11th March 1971 in Tennessee with a whole bunch of dare devil atoms dancing around his DNA, Johnny developed a gift for taking on the physical challenges of every day machinery, i.e. ski lifts, shopping trolleys, motorbikes, golf mobiles, exercise bikes, or quite simply down the gym. Just so you know, diving into a swimming pool perched on top of a motorbike might seem simple, but it would take expertise to not get severely injured. Johnny would have practiced for hours, in that slapstick, senseless mode of his. Some might say this guy is round the bend.

We say that perhaps one of his youthful visions was to become a big name in the Guinness Book of Records; in any event he more than amuses us, and obviously himself, with his wacko shenanigans; he is not the kind of guy one would want around during a darts throwing contest down your local however.  He was, he says, inspired by Jack Kerouac’s “On the Road” initially, which he says pushed him towards acting.  He moved to California to learn the craft after high school, and began writing and pitching his ideas to magazines. He flunked out of a scholarship at the American Academy of Dramatic Art, probably wanting to go for a style of method acting that did not go down too well with his tutors! A self harm style of method acting. “Jackass”, one of the most popular shows in the USA, was his true breakthrough, no pun intended!

Other than the sight of him and his mates breaking hips, noses, cheekbones etc and getting knocked unconscious on a regular basis, the show is fun to watch. It is in fact a gathering together of the wildest stunts, a sort of barmy mix match of candid camera and a war zone – it has our mouths hanging open. The warning always is “Do not do this at home without parents’, friends’ husbands, or in fact anyone’s permission.” Nobody but Johnny Knoxville would even consider doing that stuff any way. Some of the more caring amongst us might worry about his mental health, and wonder why anybody would want to act out dangerously outrageous pranks other than for the money?  But seriously, we do not think it is the dollar that drives Johnny on, it is his need to express outside the normal “channels” of communication.

He wants to rattle our cages with “outlandish”, takes on life, to help us realise the idiocy inherent in shopping trips, golfing weekends, most sports activities, and a simple walk in the park.  So when it comes to warnings, our first word of warning is do not be fooled by Johnny Knoxville, he is definitely not what he seems. He is an extremely friendly fellow, for starters, who has decided to express a certain side of his character, the weird side, but generally he is not quite as startling. He likes softness and gentleness in fact, one could say he has a wonderful communication gift and can be wise, sweet and loving to the ladies. With Venus in Aquarius he can even act out a mythic hero, a gentle lover, an idealized soul mate role with ease. 
 
His wife Melanie filed for a divorce after 12 years of marriage. Perhaps that Venus in Aquarian need of his to detach from the intensity of a “one on one” relationship, and look for stimulus outside of a relationship, could have been the reason for the breakup.  But Johnny loves his daughter Madison and is a caring dad. Yes, this is the truth; believe it or not his Piscean qualities include sensitivity and caring. But as far as romantic relationships are concerned, one with him could be described in a single word “uncertainty!” Mercury in Pisces would encourage the “clowning around!” bit quite excessively.   You see, Johnny lives in a parallel universe where his fantasies demand a voice. His seemingly senseless pranks form part of a set of weird ideas that will express themselves consistently over the next few years. He is not convinced by the “forces that be” and could be excused for living in a parallel universe where his imaginings do not even match most other people’s. Sometimes the frustration of not being able to enact out his inner visions, will have him banging his head against the wall, hopefully with a crash helmet on. 

Mars in Sagittarius pushes him towards those fanatical outdoor pursuits, like riding a shopping trolley down a mountain.   If he were not a risk taker he would probably frequent the local casino. Risk taking is part and parcel of his genetic heritage, we repeat.  The image of Johnny Knoxville could be distorted by his comedic tendencies, but truly there is something rather sweet, rather unique beating in his chest. He has a good heart folks, and could be classified as just a nice guy with a wacko message, which is never go shopping without a crash helmet on!   On the quiet our Johnny is creating his own ethical style, living life in harmony with inner creative pulsations. He has succeeded in this task and this year the planet Neptune will encourage him to settle down and find that strong core within his emotional life.  He will want stability, believe it or not.
 
He will work hard to accomplish more self expression through his comedy work; he might push so determined, other people could see him as hard headed. But Johnny knows that he wants to build, and he is searching for new ways to express his message.   He will manage to achieve a certain peace of mind, and there is a possibility of a new relationship attracting him. One where the crash helmets and body armour is off, and he is face to face with a beautiful woman, his soul mate at last. We sense he is on his way to building a stable and rewarding life. We will keep our eye on him, obviously wearing our crash helmets!

Billy Connelly

Billy Connelly, you mean that messy Sagittarian guy with the long beard? The kind of dude you might meet on a hiking trip up the Himalayas or in a backstreet pub, swigging down the local brew with the rest of the swells? Billy looks like a Sagittarius, you know, that wild man persona, half human half horse, riding across the highlands creating havoc. Born on 24 November in Glasgow, a self confessed happy man, with a gorgeous wife called Pamela Stephenson, five nominations for a Bafta award, and numerous offspring, Billy Connelly keeps us laughing. He has a comic dexterity about him, an ingenuity at delivering punch lines that has us falling off our seats in hysterical guffawing.

He is unique. That is for certain. Raised in Glasgow, he worked in the shipyards as a welder, developed an interest in folk music, and then joined a band playing a banjo. His capacity to improvise is obviously his greatest gift. However, his “fast forward” move through life’s challenges to achieve long lasting success as one of the most prolific comics of our time makes sure we never really know what Mr. Connelly will say next. His Mercury in Scorpio will make his comedic skills “spot on”, but he could put people’s noses out of joint, his cracks can be heavy handed, and people have been known to get up and leave midway through one of his performances.

He puts his finger on the proverbial pulse whatever way you wish to look at it, the Scorpio effect pushing him to take off the pompous, even desecrate them. Not everyone likes his brand of humour; those who do are his devoted fans. They love his take on life, even though it might seem black, other times hectic, basic; most times his use of OTT superlatives touching the high notes.  He takes on the absurdities as they come, and intensely, certainly not into angst or soul searching, waste of time in his book. He lives in the moment, and expects those around him not to nag, or try and change him.  He is a highly intelligent man; this gives him an astute observation gift.

He is adept at taking the comedy out of life, and throwing it on to his stage, a copy cat, aping the mannerisms of those around him. Of course with the Gemini leanings in his chart, he has many sides to his personality and one of them is to fill in that great void he feels pulsating in his heart.  He has to travel, has to experience panoramic vistas and larger than life individuals, the only types he gets on with, to hang out and de-stress.  He has written a couple of travel books, and they are a fun read.  The fact is Billy Connelly is no diplomat; he will not change his particular cards on the table to please anyone.   Billy will be a warm and loving husband to his Pamela, mainly because she is the sort of chick who lets him run on a loose rein.  She is quite happy if he goes off on one of his trips for months, as she has her own thing going on, and is certainly not a dependent type.  Billy needs space for his emotional life to work, and if he gets it he will bend over backwards to give, give and give some more.  His wife has to be his mate, more than anything else in the final analysis.  

Mars in Scorpio, now that is a good one!   This sums our Billy up.  He is a strong dude, capable of burning the midnight oil, and then getting up at dawn to do a shoot, rehearse his lines, play the banjo, or chip away at some Greek style sculpture he is creating in the back garden. He will be “highly strung nervous”, and can start to screech if not left to his own creative devices.  He has huge inner batteries that keep him going like an Olympic runner.  Put him anywhere, whether on the top of a mountain, in the middle of the jungle, or in a crocodile infested swamp, where he will probably end up making alligator hand bags, Billy will survive, and survive better than you or me. 

Once he gets something into his head, it will not budge from his frontal lobes until he has manifested it on this earth.   He is not afraid to work hard, to give his all, and he is a brave critter, willing to put himself, his life, and his very essence on the line to make others laugh. He is not for the faint hearted, clearly.  Surprise, surprise, this year Billy will want to cool down a bit. Settle down in his hammock and read, hang out with his adored Pamela, and muck around with his kids. Sentiment and love will play a very important role for him at this stage of his life.  He wants to go deeper into his friendships, hang out with a different type to his younger years, more laid back, less larger than life perhaps. His new attitude might be due to the dawning of an acquired wisdom that comes with maturity, our Billy is a little “long in the tooth” you know.

An understanding that the greatest depths, breadths and heights reside in the human heart.  He will receive all the love he richly deserves, after all he has made us laugh for years, and deserves the warmth of his family, and his private circle,  a few moments just being nobody else but that Glasgow kid, a kid with a big vision!  Hip hip hooray Billy, we hope you have a great time, yet we cannot wait to read your next travel book!

Kyle MacLachlan

Mr. Kyle MacLachlan could be classified as a mysterious combo of “the cute boy next door who spends too long in the basement” and the “clean cut, but quirky boyfriend whom we suspect has a dark side”. We also wish he would ask us to marry him, because he is so handsome, and debonair, such a swell guy to promenade down the high street with. But believe it or not, Kyle MacLachlan is not that far beyond the aforementioned name calling. He is a brilliant actor, yes, who has won a golden globe, and stared in a couple of big fry movies including the cult films “Blue Velvet”, and “Dune” as well as super popular television shows such as “Desperate Housewives” and ” Twin Peaks “.  However beyond his popularity as an actor, it has to be said that some of his role castings have hit the “proverbial nail on the head”.  

His tantalizingly odd demeanor as Special Agent Dale Cooper in the David Lynch hit “Twin Peaks” might not just have been due to method acting after all! There was something very “Kyle” about Agent Cooper’s assumptions re. The realities of existence.  In other words ordinary is not a word one could use to describe Kyle, and not just because he has his sun sigh in Pisces.  That “Mr. Clean Cut” look just will not work as a cover up for those deeply emotional pulsations within his soul, you see. “Normal is Shmormal” when it comes to Kyle’s attitude to every day procedures such as getting the gas tank filled, paying the bills, remembering to lock the front door behind one.  

With that moon in Leo, he also spends his time trying to work out who his soul mate is. One night his Venus in Pisces will guide him to that mermaid standing on the edge of the pool at a Hollywood Party, and that is it, they both fall in! His capacity for romantic passion hits 9 on the Richter scale as a result, because lurve is one of those life events that keep him glued to his seat, ready to take reality on the chin, up to a point. He is sure of his great new love for part of the time, and then he realises that there just must be someone else to fulfill his aching heart, as she just does not really understand him. In truth, his North Node in Libra makes him your archetypical, romantic “lone wolf” with a need to do things his way, when he wants and how he wants. His excessive ambition could estrange those close to him, and his detached attitudes could hurt the ones he cares for. He needs a very special person to know how to handle his quirks, such as his present wife Desiree Gruber. 

He has had a number of prime relationships in the past however, with such lovelies as Linda Evangelista, Laura Dern, Lara Flynn Boyle and Heather Graham, all strong talented ladies in their own right, perhaps with less capacity to distance themselves from Kyle’s odd “moments” of alienation though.  So what makes Kyle so fascinating, so attractive, and so utterly mesmerizing to the ladies, and his fans? Pisces in Mercury of course. This will make him just so gently funny, with that soft wry grin and that way of saying the right thing when he wants to.  

He is in tune with his intuition, capable of getting under the skin of a character, with that mysterious connection to the hidden inner worlds, and that way he has of displaying sensitivity and emotional depth; he is, in short, a natural actor.  Okay, even if he does erupt with frustration now and then, just because he cannot handle those powerful emotions, does not mean that he is not a pleasure to be with, and a great talent to have around a set most days.   

His Mars in Gemini will always pull it together for him. Suddenly he will seem totally “on the ball” really out there with his thoughts and creative chutzpah, ready to take on the world and, believe it or not,  reality and all matters pertaining to it.  Being a Piscean, one cannot help but thinking of Kyle as a mix of those two rather popular underwater mammals, the dolphin and the hammer head shark.  He has all the “other worldly” knowing of the dolphin, that capacity to enter enigmatic worlds, and talk in a strange, rather spatial language, yet he also has the Hammer Head’s stubborn tendencies, which shows him coldly detached from the needs of those around him, sometimes even hiding from his own dark side. He once said, “I’d like to do more Shakespeare. I’d like to do Iago in Othello. I look so benign. It would be interesting to see that black evil come out of my soul.

Perhaps letting the Hammer Head rip into his life, would release an even truer talent! He is a complex man, someone we can gasp at.  Certainly a durable star, with an inner resilience to stay the “ups and downs” of the show biz fates, he is for many one of the most gifted actors of his generation.  Over the next couple of years Kyle will want to achieve new goals as far as his career is concerned.  Another part in a David Lynch movie would help him express his fullest potential, and there is a sense that he will gain mastery over the changes coming to his career.  Not that he will get “beefy”, but he will become aware of a rather more brawny side to his persona, perhaps acting out a personality, like a thug or a cowboy, and why not even Iago!  It will be a challenge, but there is a sense that he will make very important tweaks to his lifestyle and start achieving what he desires within, and without, as an actor. 

That gifted connection to his craft will surface strongly, and we will see that happening sooner than we all think!  Let us keep our eye on this talented actor, for he will certainly continue to entertain us with his complex characteristics, and fascinating physical demeanor. God bless you Kyle!

Roger Moore

The three to 16 year old sector of the population might blink vacuously when you shriek “Roger Moore”, but virtually all other age groups know who this very Libran fellow is. A cherubic charmer who pulls the Bond girls, who is adored by a huge fan base, and who bowled over the Danish Royal family with whom he hangs out in all the right places.  Who could remain indifferent to this archetypal British hunk? This “jolly good chap” who for years enacted the sleek and debonair “007″ with whom we all fell in love with at some stage. He was the kind of guy you could take home to mother and say “mum this is my future hubby to be” without her shaking her head, and muttering into her tea. She would have been overawed by his chivalrous presence in fact, and got out the special chocs in the “bat of an eye”, because even mum could have seen our Roger is no looser. 

Simon Templar in the television series The Saint in the sixties, one of the more “Britannic” James Bonds during the mid seventies to early eighties, a UNICEF Ambassador and last but not least, a prized guest on the Muppet Show, Mr. Moore has never lacked for “fun things to do”. One of them was picking up a couple of medals. Commander of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) and a Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire (KBE) – not bad for starters.   The knighthood was for Mr. Moore’s charity work, rather than his show business attributes. However, there is more to this chap than meets the eye, in fact something rather complex is going on behind those shades. Mum should not have got out the chocs so fast! We joke of course. But actually when it comes to the “emotional” areas of his life, there is an Achilles heel to Roger Moore. 

He has been married rather frequently, and in most cases he left his “spouse of the moment” abruptly after meeting another lady.  He is too charming to be a cad, but certainly he is an emotionally challenging fella, with that sun moon combination, including a Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde/Gemelli vibe when it comes to the intimate spheres of his love life. To be blunt he has frequently seemed hell bent on domestic disaster. Perhaps because his standards are rather too high, he likes his partners to be beautiful, graceful, socially well placed, refined and educated, ladies with whom he can discuss life and all things pertaining to it.  But then, after years of making sure his partner understands him, and the relationship acquires a solid tone to it, he will turn away. He feels there is another love experience to live, and it is with someone new. So not exactly a “grass is greener” dude but near to it.  

Mercury in Scorpio makes him astute, a great conversationalist, who is inclined to chat the birds off the trees.   He will state what he thinks about you with laser beam clarity, even if it is not nice, and will not care if you significantly shift in your chair looking for the exit. He will stay the course when it comes to his “opinions” too, and not give an inch even if an argument lasts till three in the morning, and everyone, except “again” you, has given up and gone to bed. But it is his Mars in Libra that will save the day. This shows an incredibly nice chap, someone great to have around. So tactful and kind, so observant and tolerant.   A big heart to those who are vulnerable.

He is in short, a great person, well thought of, he is company inspiring and even helping others.  He has an empathy with those who are suffering from severe illness and compassion for the vulnerable in general.   Jupiter in Pisces makes him go deep, to touch the spiritual within life, even if not in an organized religious format.   Higher visions will make him want to do something inspiring before leaving this earth so his name is not just remembered for his film roles, but for his humanity and goodness.
 
His debonair 007 was indeed an aspect of himself, a sort of sub persona, the charmer, the risk taker, the guy with a stiletto in his garters, the guy who can take on a villain without a crinkle in his suit, a dude who makes the ladies twitter, but in reality he is no 007, he is a good chap, perhaps not always aware of his deeper feelings, the ones that shift around in the depths of his heart, but well meaning nonetheless. Over the next couple of years Mr. Moore could take to writing a book. One he has been pondering over for some time.  He will want to use his creative mind, and let the public know his deeper perceptions on the complexities of life not through an autobiography but through a novel.  In order to do this, he will review certain aspects of his personality to become more “tuned in” to the collective mind, and an understanding of what his readers are looking for.  

We see him becoming more drawn to spiritual concepts, higher levels of thinking. He has always looked very young for his age, now he will seem younger, as he continues to reach for the stars, and we continue to be fascinated by this intriguing ex 007. Our thoughts are with you Roger, you will still fly high over the next couple of years, you are a true blue gentleman, the kind who will never truly grow old. Those lovely, charming Libran vibes will keep you young forever!
