Matt Lucas

Eighth on the list of Britain’s most influential gays or lesbians, Matt Lucas could be described as a cherubic whiz kid, a mastermind, whose peculiar talent was spotted by Bob Mortimer and Vic Reeves. They just knew he was an original. There was something about him, something screwball, plus a gift of the gab, and a keen eye for a wacko joke, they just could not ignore him. He can spot a droll situation in a second, and translate it onto paper in half a minute. This is due to super intellectual Mars in Gemini, which makes him smart enough to argue with a quantum physicist, brilliant enough to assess the ridiculous behind that veneer we call civilization. His famous catch phrases have become a silly yet controversial part of British society, and the pepper of his and partner’s, David Walliams, hit show Little Britain. The show has won numerous awards may be because Lucas excels in all his characterisations, including the homophobic homosexual Daffyd Thomas! His talent has to thank pure instinct, as well as a brilliant mind. The ideas just flow with his sun in Pisces and moon in Cancer.

A bright Muse fills him with comedic inspiration 24 hours a day.  He is a responsive fellow identifying so much with his characters that he literally merges into roles such as the drum, playing, giant baby in Shooting Stars, whose stream of farcical comments were understood by few but laughed at by many. No matter how ruthlessly funny he appears this is a guy whose shoulder you can cry on. Because not only will he gather together all his talents to make you giggle, but his kind feelings to help you out if you are in a tough spot, again soft Moon in Cancer, kind Sun in Pisces. Born in Paddington, he grew up in Stanmore, and was bald from childhood; some people say this was due to delayed shock after a road accident when he was but four years old. Perhaps it was then he decided life could not be funnier, and became a one off with an aptitude for hilarity. He attended Haberdashers Boys School and already showed promise as a clowning type of kid, everyone’s mate with that super ability to empathise.

Sacha Baron Cohen also attended Haberdashers and interestingly Lucas has since written some spots for him mainly on Ali G and Borat. Matt would not like to boast about his generosity, but we can tell you he is a patron of the Karen Morris Memorial Trust, a charity in aid of leukemia patients and their families. Eccentric Mercury in Aquarius will make him aware of human suffering yet manage to deal with it in an offbeat manner, seeing the droll side to it. He already knew something about pain when he was a little kid, but chose to go for an open-minded attitude to the turmoil of his life, and everyone else’s. You see he has a cosmic picture unfolding in his head,  blame that take on Mr. Uranus in Libra, it encourages a broad based awareness that something “greater” or “cosmic” might have a say in the ways of the Universe. Some might agree he is earmarked for comedic greatness, certainly for Tweedledee and Tweedledum in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderful, also starring Johnny Depp, and Helena Bonham Carter. Nothing can hold him back not even his own oddity because Mr. Saturn in Gemini has driven his talent hard, making sure he leaves no stone unturned, giving him the capacity to concentrate full on, to achieve all that absurdity. 

You see, good old cosmic Teacher Mr. S wants our hero to make the best of his talents! But it is his north node in Sagittarius that will inspire every time, make him reach for the proverbial stars with an inspirational take. Always open minded, non discriminatory, he is consistently ready to find an unusual slant. He has long realised that the “kill joys” and “misery me’s” never get that far in life, except in his shows of course. Who could have possibly said, “I’ve written this song called Insania – it’s a mix of Insane and Mania, and even though it’s a made up word you instantly know what it means!?” Go on, put your thinking cap on, it will not take that long? First clue, he was born in the UK but his family immigrated to Australia? Second clue, his first UK hit single was “Only One!” Third clue, he is a singer cum songwriter, a TV celebrity, with Greek Cypriot genes, a guy who holds great store on “family” and warm flowing emotions? Okay let us put you out of your misery, the man is the sensual, original Piscean Peter Andre, a good looking bloke with tons of charisma and an intense mix match of talents. A guy fascinated by exciting projects and exciting people. A guy who has always had a number of beautiful ladies revolving around him, due to his openhearted show biz flair, and somewhat detached approach to love.

This is a guy whose Mars in Capricorn will push him to success with method, hard work and total dedication. Good old Cappy will encourage him to be a dude on the move too, a new song perpetually on his lips, a show biz project on his mind. If you met him at a party he would be the one in the colourful ensemble, the bloke who earmarks you as his mate, and chats to you about his choice of décor and the wonderful people he knows, for Mr. Andre is an up front communicator, someone who tells it how it is, someone who is not that keen to keep his life mission under wraps. He wants to open up, to hone in on an issue, and focus full on. His Mercury in Pisces will make him an empathic parental figure, aware of his children’s challenges and supporting them all the way. He will “sense” what is going on with them before they do. So what is Peter Andre’s soul mission, what did he come to here to learn? Well partly, to channel his sensitivity without giving in to self doubt. Dakota Fanning

Child genius, acting phenomenon, magical, gifted, all these attributes describe the wonder that is Dakota Fanning.  With sun in Pisces and moon in Cancer she is the epitome of genial sensitivity, the banner waver for a child star.  Mars in Aquarius assures us she knows what she wants and nearly always gets it! Therefore, not a normal little girl from Georgia for sure. Certainly not a cheerleader, far too subtle a personality and inspiringly elegant for one so young.  Ever see her performance in War of the Worlds? She seemed to be channelling her histrionics because the role fell around her so perfectly and we all identified with that neurotic teenage kid, overcome by her parents’ divorce. Terrified to death by the invading Martians, she waded her nervous way through continual tragedy, but in real life this little girl is not so flaky.

So what makes her able to perform maturely then? What makes her unusual demeanour fill us with primal protective instincts? Well, Scorpio in Pluto could be the “mover and shaker” in this astrological scenario. This child carries that inner pressure, part of Scorpionic spiritual knowing, a gift of identification and projection into any role. Scorpio pushes her where “angels fear to tread”, so not surprisingly she might have temporary feelings of insecurity, followed by bursts of creativity, borderline angst and a clear need to “express ” to keep her mind calm.  She is one of a kind, being so unnervingly wise.

Mercury in Aquarius enables her to go optimistically into a challenging role, to remember her lines, to remain balanced as she mixes and matches the duality of profound Scorpionic feeling and then switches into a bright eyed Mercurial actress, punctual on set, clear in communication and a delight to be with. Dakota’s talent is her watchfulness, she can imitate emotions, as she takes stock of those around her. This is her geniality. She is compelling; she does not pressure us with one performance after another because as a child star she needs to finish her studies, to hang out with her friends, to have fun shopping down the Mall. If you asked Dakota why she loves acting she would answer she wants to help people understand. Perhaps she does not know what she wants them to understand, yet, but she certainly feels she is on a mission. Saturn in Pisces is inspiring her to lurch forward, will lead her to analyse the tragic complexities of the world and she will want to do something about them. I would not be surprised if she has some private charity, or project she is contributing to already!

Dakota loves her things; she probably collects jewellery, dolls or dresses. She probably keeps a scrapbook, or a box with pictures of the places she has visited, she is a memento type of girl! But this need to remember events ties in with her need to understand human behaviour, this is the side that makes her such a stunning actress for one so young. During the rest of this year not only is it probable that Dakota could have an immense crush on someone special, but it shows her working steadily towards her aims and winning through insecurities, or an immediate lack of the right acting project.

Something is due to come up for Dakota and July 2009 is showing up as a time for a lucrative film contract and career expansion. So watch this space, the “Dakota space” because there is something intriguing happening to this gifted young actress. She is a bright spark of talent, and we will all be watching her evolution as a star over the next three to four years. God bless you Dakota! And watch out for September when Jupiter the planet of bounty will be your friend, and you will not only find yourself with an intriguing role but could meet an exceptional person who will help you find a way to understanding human nature even more, perhaps a new acting coach, or inspiring mentor. The way will open out even more for Dakota, that is for sure, and she will surely shine very brightly in the future!!

Glenn Close

Okay so who is that girl, the one with the classy demeanour, the one who admits she is sometimes taken for Meryl Streep on Oscar night? Well here are some clues. She is blond like Meryl, has blue eyes and the same, almost magical capacity to master her roles so that we do not know where she begins, and her characters end. Okay still not got it? Think some more! She has won three Tony Awards. She was the wicked French chick in Dangerous Liaisons, the depraved dame in Fatal Attraction. Ahhh, now you have it, Glenn Close of course. Like Meryl Streep she is not a classic beauty, her face has too much character. The kind of aristo look one would curtsey to.

She is in fact a very distant relative of the late Diana Princess of Wales! But Glenn is no aristo, distinguished yes, but far too cheeky to launch ships with a straight face. Glenn is a Pisces the fish instead. Certainly not your commonplace haddock but a fluid angelfish floating around the coral reefs showing off her multi coloured fins. She is indefinable when it comes to every day moods, she might suddenly drop her fork and stare into the ethers like someone of a hazier minded disposition. This could be disconcerting to friends and husbands, but it is not her fault, it is the Aquarian moon making her partake of a mind-boggling insight all to do with humanity’s condition or her next role.

When she is on set, she is on the ball. Precise, with such a meticulous approach, she has a reputation for being a real pro. But back home as she surveys all the costumes she has collected from her roles on stage and screen, yes she does collect them, she will drift off into show biz memories and think how wonderful life is as an actress. She would never let you know about her high ideals, the ones she inherited from her dad who opened a clinic in Africa. In fact, she is such a mix of visionary and tough minded professional even her extended family, she is Brooke Shield’s second cousin, might get confused. Venus in Aquarian will make her aura sensational when it comes to love. She intrigues her beau with that enchanting “across a crowded room” vibe. But she can be far too removed from basic emotion, far too inclined to disassociate from domestic trivia. Glenn wants the intimacy of deep passion when it comes to love.

Her Eros is indeed that multi plumed angelfish, we spoke of before. Her nature so variant, so enmeshed in incomprehensible moods that partners are disconcerted and reach for the mineral water. She is on her third marriage. Her road to fame is straight, however, personal success assured with Jupiter in Scorpio. Yet her true gift is to travel to the recesses of Soul, converse with the Muse and bring back such brilliant interpretative skills we, her audience, are nothing less than captivated.
