COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS BY SIGN

So who dishes out the blessings when we count them? Could it be a lookalike Cinderella-type fairy godmother in a pink crinoline that appears when we are weeping by the cinders? Could it be that lucky break that seems to come from nowhere when we least expect it? Perhaps our Fairy Godmother is our Higher Self egging us on, but certainly she can make our dreams possible if we pay her some attention and count our blessings. Fairy Godmother will certainly gift us with positive traits, and upbeat attitudes. Without her, our lives would be sad, grey and boring. But what blessings do the fairy godmothers of that astro contingent bestow on their charges?

ARIES

The Aries Fairy Godmother, waved her wand and murmured “Acetabularia bless this fire sign with sheer hard headedness and a stubborn inclination to get their way!” This blessing is useful to the average Aries. See them flexing their muscles in the gym, it they want to stay slim. Working all hours God sends if they want to get to the top of their careers, or bravely hanging on the edge of a boulder, if they want to get to the top of the mountain. In other words, Aries are blessedly stubborn, and will keep on walking a straight line no matter how many times they trip up!

TAURUS

CANCER

The Cancer Fairy Godmother was wise to whisper, “There was an old woman who lived in a shoe, she had so many children she did not know what to do!” knowing full well that in Cancer’s case having children is a dream fulfilled. The Cancer is a family person, and the joy of having relatives around is indeed a great way to count blessings. Nothing will make a Cancer happier than fussing over their boys and girls, i.e. making sure they wear their woolly hats when they go out on cold and wintry days. A blessed Libran will take stock of everyone’s point of view; even if a boy or girlfriend is busy screaming at them, Libran will simply hone into his Fairy Godmother’s blessing, and see his better half’s perspective. SCORPIO

Maybe because that particular blessing includes a mesmerizing stare, a great deal of sexual charisma, and an attractive dark side that has potential crushes’ knees shaking. The magnetism vibe also has a tendency to repel anyone who is a threat to the Scorpio’s status quo! Baddies keep away for fear of being stung by that sneaky Scorpio tail! This blessing is magical formulae at its best!

SAGITTARIUS

When Saggy’s Fairy Godmother waved her magic wand she said “Abracadabra let there be Humour”, humour there was. The fact is Sag’s humour giggles with pets, frolics on mountain tops and is as inordinately hilarious as Dawn French. They will overcome their karmic challenges at all costs, and create beautiful, prestigious residences, amazingly effective business plans, and a realistic approach to educating their children. When this Fairy Godmother waved her wand, she knew what she was doing, guilt edged bonds and blue chip banks notwithstanding!

AQUARIUS

When the Aquarius Fairy Godmother waved her purple magic wand with the green fluorescent star on the end of it and whispered, “By the two labyrinths of Uliolus I invoke free thinking” such a potent blessing had our friendly Aquarian developing an ever more open-minded approach to life, an army of friends and an inclination to hang out with laughing gurus. Their capacity to also make a “silk purse out of a sows ear” is one particular aspect of this blessing, as is the penchant for weird machinery, and in-depth conversations with extraterrestrials. These are people that inspire the average Joe Bloggs to see life from a more “wacky point of view” a great blessing in of itself.

PISCES

When the Pisces Fairy Godmother waved her magic wand and whispered, “By Lanuri, let there be compassion” she was very optimistic. Pisces for all their aquarium-gazing and pipe dreams are evolved, spiritual beings, who have incarnated on this planet a million times. Their capacity to feel pity and love for the down-at-heart and down-on-their-luck makes them special, blessed people, with an unusual capacity to inspire great devotion in those who know them.
